Minnie's fried chicken sandwich combo
Alexandra A.

I grabbed Minnie bird for dinner around 5pm on a weekday and goodness this place was paaaaacked. This fast casual chicken spot is new to Naperville and already thriving. I utilized the kiosk to place my order for carry out and within ~10 minutes my food was ready. I got the Minnie's fried chicken sandwich combo and chose fries for my side and a fountain drink. The sandwich was a little too sweet for me but that's my fault. I should have gotten it spicy. Aside from that this was very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was HUUUUUGE. The slaw was fresh and added a crispy texture to the sandwich. I'll be coming back soon to try the Nashville

This is a great spot for fast casual chicken sandwiches! There are self-order kiosks and one register if you want to order with an employee. I did ask and was told that they do not accept cash even if you order with an employee. We waited almost 10 minutes to order, but hopefully it will get faster as everyone becomes more familiar with the menu. We ordered the Pimiento Honey Heat Sandwich Combo, Minnie's Fried Chicken Sandwich Combo, side of chicken tenders, and the Mango Lagoon skinny Minnie. It only took about 5-10 minutes for our food to be ready at the pick up counter. All the chicken was super moist and juicy! The Pimiento Honey Heat Sandwich had a healthy amount of pimiento cheese in the sandwich and it was definitely spicy. The skinny Minnie was interesting - I could really taste the coconut flavor. They offer free soft serve too! The restaurant itself was very clean and decorated with that retro diner vibe. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches!

It a good place to grab a bite to eat. I had their $14.99 combo meal. Chicken sandwich with Coleslaw and crinkle cut fries. It came with a beverage and ice cream! It was good sandwiches. I can taste the sweetness of the chicken with the first bite it was delicious. Love the honey mustard and pickles. Crinkle fries were good too. Their delicious fried chicken finger sandwiches. They have super friendly staff. The place and near and orderly.

I went here with my grandmother. This place was delicious. The food was good but the food selection wasn't that big. Service was VERY fast. And it had Ambiance. Overall 9.3/10. Also if you get a strawberry shortcake lemon you will be surprised how big it is.

We went for a date night and it was honestly such an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. It is lively and has a great energy, but it is not overwhelming or too crazy, which makes it perfect for a date night. You can actually talk, relax, and enjoy your time together, which is exactly what we were looking for. We ordered a mix of things and everything was so good. The BBQ platter with ribs, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, fries, and toast was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. The chicken dish with mashed potatoes and greens was also amazing and really well done. We also got dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to the night. The service was great the entire time. Our server was especially attentive and funny, which made the experience even better and added such a fun, personal touch to the night. Overall this is such a great spot and definitely one we will keep coming back to. If you are looking for a place that has a fun atmosphere but still feels comfortable for a date night, I would absolutely recommend checking this place out.

They also have an outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. The staff member let us know they have a few other locations, Oak Brook, Chicago, and their sister company City Works in Schaumburg. Service throughout was good and timed out well. Within 2 minutes of placing a drink order, they were brought over to our table. Food took about 10-15 mins to be prepared and brought over. Our group was in and out within an hour and 30 mins. I tried the Nashville chicken wrap which comes with a side. I went with the side salad with citrus vinaigrette. The salad was light and refreshing. Great way to get some veggies in! The wrap was delicious, crispy and toasted perfectly. All the ingredients paired well together and I enjoyed all the textures of it. I had ZERO left overs.

We were actually running a bit behind, so my wife called and informed the front desk, and they made accommodations for us. We ordered the Over The Border Egg Rolls as a starter. They were nice and crispy, full of flavor and tasty. They were however, right on the cusp of being salty. We all felt that way, which kind of sucked, but mind you, we all don't really eat a lot of salt, so how palates are a bit different from others. They were still good though. For dinner, I had the Tim's Favorite Chicken Giardiniera and my wife had Gnocchi Butternut Squash and my mother in-law had the Pistachio Crusted Grouper. My wish was pretty freakin good. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. The chicken was pretty thin and crisp but not dry at all! The giardiniera add the right amount of heat, spice and brightness to the dish. The cheese played well in the background and the mash potatoes were nice and smooth. I wish they had a bit more wasabi flavor though. My wife and mother-in's food was also pretty good. I think we all took home left-overs! A- -Gone.......

They also have a wine tasting counter that often fills up in the evening time with guests wanting to taste their expansive collection of wines. They have multiple dining rooms to accommodate any party size and even have private spaces to host events in. I visited for lunch where options were endless. They offer their main menu as well as some lunch specific options that are smaller in portion for a better price. My group started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts which were absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts were crispy and paired with a fresh mint sauce and light space sauce; neither were overwhelming. For entrees, most got the Gnocchi with Roasted Butternut Squash while I got the Gnocchi Alla Vodka. I loved mine for being a classic dish with creamy sauce, crumbled sausage, and pillowy gnocchi. The other dish was perfect for a spring day as it was lighter in flavor, vegetable forward, and less heavy. I was a little bummed that our table never got the complimentary pretzel bun that seemed like every other table got. Our server was very sweet and kept on top of refilling our waters. She made some food suggestions but most items were off the regular menu and not the lunch menu. Pricing overall was a bit expensive even for lunch but portions were large. Overall, this was a great spot to enjoy the company of my coworkers and enjoy some good bites.

A few small notes, but overall this place exceeded expectations. The real stars of the night were our servers, Barb and Jeremy. They were consistently attentive, professional, and kind -- not just to us, but to every guest in the room. Jeremy noticed the birthday celebrant hadn't had a chance to try the chicken tenders, and quietly arranged a special plate with bonus fries just for him. That level of care and awareness is hard to find. On to the food -- the chicken tenders appetizers are a must-order. Light batter, juicy, and not dried out like you get at so many other places. They went so fast we ordered a second round, and it came out almost instantly -- no wait at all! The spinach & artichoke dip was warm, cheesy, ooey-gooey perfection, served with light and crispy tortilla chips. I had to physically stop myself from eating more to save room for dinner. For the main course, we had three options. The fettuccine alfredo was generous in portion (I couldn't finish mine!), though the chicken pieces were a touch tough -- and a slice of garlic bread would be a nice touch to balance the creaminess. The meatloaf, though? AMAZING. Served on a french roll, topped with crispy onion straws and a sweet, tasty barbecue glaze -- it was a showstopper. The millionaire bacon burger was untouched at our table, but guests raved it was big, juicy, and delicious. A nice bonus for families: kids under 12 were able to order anything from the kids' menu, which was a great perk for the younger guests. When our 2-hour window was almost up, we were planning to extend -- and before we even asked, they told us the manager said we were welcome to stay longer if we needed. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. We took the full extra hour and guests enjoyed mingling, cake, and desserts without feeling rushed. Oh, and the women's restroom? Clean and fully stocked. Always appreciated! The surprise was a success, and this place played no small part in that. Highly recommend for private events!

The curry wurst was the bomb but needed more sauce. The sauce was heavenly though. The potato pancakes great and flavorful. The cabbage rolls tasty. The liver soup not my favorite only because it had a liver taste--which if you like, then you'll like it. The saurkraut and purple cabbage the best Ive ever tasted and worth getting. The spetzel so-so, not much flavor. Son liked it though. The bread dumplings ok. More like white bread. The big pork shank that is the prize-it was good but not as stellar as we thought it would be. And we did make sure to order it crispy like it said to and it wasn't. Looked like it was a little browned but even my young son said the fat isn't rendered. I think it would have been a lot better if it had been crispy like in other pictures on here. Disappointed. It's like $35. Not cheap. The beef with sauce (sauerbraten) was good, the sauce great, the beef ok. The special that was going on, the beef roulade. Nobody liked it at all. The stuff just didn't taste good together in it. Overall, it was a good experience. The waitress Rosie was amazing, most of the food was great to awesome. The ambiance was German and cozy. Our favorites: the curry wurst sauce, the saurkraut and red cabbage and the stuffed cabbage rolls.
