We stopped here on a whim because we were in the area. I loved it! The menu, the taste of the food, the fair pricing. I was excited to see sliders on the menu. They don't have kids meals, per say, but ordering a one slider meal is the same. They have about 6 different sauces. The really great thing is that you can get as many different sauces as you like with no additional charge! You just pump them out into little cups. Any other restaurant would give you your choice of one flavor and then charge you for additional charge for another flavor. I tried some of each flavor on my 2 mini sliders and fries. They make note of their special homemade ranch dipping sauce. I'm not a big ranch dressing fan but this ranch was special and delicious. Everyone is welcome to a free soft serve. They have vanilla and then a Flavor of the month. The Flavor of the month was banana. The employee who wore the banana hat was a good sport about it. He must have pulled the short straw at the start of the shift. I wouldn't be surprised if he spent a little more time in the kitchen than talking to customers! This is our first time here. We came here on a Saturday night. They have two kiosk machines to order. You can also order at the register. I think there were too many options on the menu, and the people at the kiosks took a while to place their orders. We decided to just order with the register. We got a Southern Charm sandwich combo with creamsicle dirty soda and a honey-glazed tender combo with Hawaiian dream dirty soda. There is a soda machine and a couple of sauces on a table where you can fill a cup and try. The food came out fast. I liked their chicken tenders; they are very moist and tender. I also like my Hawaiian Dream soda more than the creamsicle soda. It had a strong coconut taste. You get free soft-serve ice cream. The ambiance of the place is clean. Staff member would come out to clean and wipe down tables. There are plenty of tables to sit for dine in. I would definitely be back to try their other dirty soda and their sandwiches. read more

I always wanted to try Minnie Bird so I was happy to see a new location in Naperville. My husband and I got lunch and we ordered a pimento chicken wrap and Nashville chicken sandwich combo that came with fries and we made our own dirty sodas. The food was delicious but I have to be totally honest about one thing; the fries were extremely salty!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know who is in charge of seasoning the fries but please stop. I had to wipe the salt off because it was crusted in a ridiculous amount of salt. I like my fries with zero salt. Other than that, everything was amazing. The service was great, the gentlemen making the dirty sodas and handing out the ice creams were very kind to each customer and I loved that these two young men displayed great customer service. We decided to try this place out before heading to Woodridge for a movie. I parked to the far left of the restaurant for easier parking. We came here around 7:12 pm on a Saturday night. They have two kiosks to order from. I'm not going to take off a star for other customers. I know other reviewers do that for some reason. They were both occupied and it must have felt like they were trying to order for 10-15 mins. Time was moving so slow. Kiosks are supposed to be faster people! We ended up going to the register and we still finished before those people. When it's not busy, there are more than enough tables. Btw, the place emptied out around 7:40 pm. I would come when it's not at the peak times. Pricing can be slightly expensive if you decide to try the dirty soda with your meal. Service was extremely friendly and they were wiping the tables clean after that rush. We ordered the southern charm sandwich combo. I ordered a cup of cheese and upgraded my drink to the creamsicle dirty soda. My girlfriend ordered the honey glazed tender combo with an upgrade to the Hawaiian dream dirty soda. You get a free ice cream with any entree. They have 6 different sauces you can choose from, by the drinks. The fried chicken was really good. I don't like those pencil thin chicken sandwiches from Chik-fil-a. I like the thicker ones you find from Popeyes, Fry the Coop, and Budlong. Minnie's is thick, juicy, and crispy. The fries were not soggy at all, they were firm and moist. The dirty sodas were good but I would say the Hawaiian dream was the better of the two. I grabbed Minnie bird for dinner around 5pm on a weekday and goodness this place was paaaaacked. This fast casual chicken spot is new to Naperville and already thriving. I utilized the kiosk to place my order for carry out and within ~10 minutes my food was ready. I got the Minnie's fried chicken sandwich combo and chose fries for my side and a fountain drink. The sandwich was a little too sweet for me but that's my fault. I should have gotten it spicy. Aside from that this was very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was HUUUUUGE. My son and I visited on a Saturday night and there was a nice crowd. The food was delicious - chicken is juicy and tender. We loved the sauce bar! Being able to try a little of everything was so fun. The dirty soda menu was overwhelming. I tried the diet Shirley Temple. It was yummy, but these drinks are expensive (a $2.99 surcharge on the combo meal price). This is a great spot for fast casual chicken sandwiches! There are self-order kiosks and one register if you want to order with an employee. I did ask and was told that they do not accept cash even if you order with an employee. We waited almost 10 minutes to order, but hopefully it will get faster as everyone becomes more familiar with the menu. Tried this place for the first time. My husband and I split the three wrap combo so we could sample multiple flavors. We loved all of them, but for me the pimento cheese one stood out the most. We both liked the crinkle cut fries as they were the perfect amount of salty and crispy. The dipping sauce is smoky which we liked for dipping our fries in. The free ice cream is just meh, though. One thing that perplexes me is this - if the combo is $15 and includes a fountain drink, why would the app add an additional $3 on top of the combo price (making it $18) if you select the smallest size dirty soda instead of the fountain drink? Both of the smallest sizes of each cost $3 by themselves, so it doesn't make sense to me that the app would try to charge more. I could see if you were ordering a more expensive drink; in that case I would fully expect to pay a surcharge above the standard $3 allotment. I really hope this is just a programming error. I don't see contact info for this company on their website so hopefully someone there will see this and address my concern. You will want to eat in for the best experience, but time your visit carefully as it gets super packed and when that happens there never seems to be enough employees working. My husband loves chicken tenders! Now his favorite restaurant to get tenders is Minnie Bird! I eat Gluten Free but don't have celiac so I can have a chicken tender as well. Minnie Birds tenders coating is top drawer. Crispy. The restaurant has a sauce of the month and customers can choose up to 2 sauces per order. We skip Cole slaw however MB toast is superb as are crinkle cut fries and the variety of drinks including dirty sodas are plentiful. It's nice MB puts a sticker on the top of drinks to prevent others from slipping anything else into the top of customers drinks however a better idea would be the sticker covering where the lid meets the cup because anyone can take off the lid & tamper with drinks especially if they're ordered via Uber Eats & Door Dash we normally do not order for this reason. Otherwise everything we have eaten at Minnie Bird is very appetizing & flavorful. We are still looking forward to trying their free ice cream! read more
