I have been bringing my dogs here since Jessica opened. I had an amazing groomer when I lived in West Hollywood. Since moving to the valley I had been to a few groomers. My dogs hated going to them. This lady is crazy. The day I went she went off the wall because I got there early to pick up my 2 dogs. Then 3 weeks later I just notified her that my dogs got kennel cough after the grooming. My dogs don't interact with other dogs so they got it from this business. She continued for 3 weeks to justify it that her place is clean etc. Im hoping that that pet owners watch for those crazy lady You're nuts. I told you my dogs got kennel cough to inform you and you flipped. My dogs don't go to dog parks or haven't been around dogs so did my dogs get kennel cough at your place? Yes they did. I had to take one of my dogs on 9/26 to the vet and her case of kennel cough is severe and spent almost 600 dollars, 5 different medications, plus a full tray that shows how bad the case is. Kennel cough doesn't mean that any dog had it when I took my dogs to your place. Any dog up to 15 days before I took the dogs to your place, could have had the symptoms. Kennel cough can be contagious airbnb up to 15 days in an enclosed area. You were disrespectful when I notified you and all you did was to justify that your place is clean and the day my dogs were there, all your customers were repeat customers. Jessica does an amazing job taking care of my babies. Not only do they come home smelling so good, but they also come home happy. My dogs love going to the "beauty salon" as we call it. Jessica is extremely patient and gentle with my young, timid Dalmatian. He doesn't let many people touch him, so for him to let her give him a bath and trim his nails are testaments to Jessica's loving and caring energy. We just moved to the area and saw that MiniPaw Spa is just up the street from us. We made an appointment for our two pups (a golden retriever & a corgi) and booking online was very easy. We were able to bring them in together, which was great because they really don't like the be apart (they worry about each other!) My husband has been taking our dog to this groomer since she was a pup. We are not arguing that she is not good at what she does because she is a pretty good groomer. We are saying she is unprofessional and does not know how to deal with customers. She was very defensive and condescending. Refer to Rocky's review and the owner's response. She is basically blaming the customer for the cut behind the dog's ear. Our problem began because we made an honest mistake regarding appointment time. We thought the appointment was at 11:30 a.m., but actually, it was 11:00 a.m., and my husband arrived there at 11:40 a.m. He apologized for being late. If his lateness caused her to be so far behind, then per her disclaimer regarding people arriving 15 minutes late, why doesn't she call the customer to find out and give him the option to cancel the appointment? Her response was that it was a two-way street and it was both of our responsibility. If she called my husband as normal businesses do, he would have gladly rescheduled. Now, referring back to her two-way street comment, we made a mobile grooming appointment with her a year and a half ago. She was an hour and a half late and kept telling us her van kept breaking down. My husband was understanding about the situation and got our dog groomed late at night. Why can't she extend the same courtesy when my husband was late? On another note, when my husband dropped our dog off, he told the owner's assistant what our grooming needs were, only to get a call three and half hours later complaining about our dog getting a full haircut. She was privy to the information three and a half hours earlier but complained about doing it. All she had to say was she couldn't give our dog a full haircut because of his being late, and he would have totally understood. Please don't call us complaining about something you could not do when she had the information three and a half hours early. It should have been nipped in the bud right away. Miscommunication between her and her assistant is not part of the customers' responsibilities. He told them first thing in the morning what we wanted. The moral of this story is don't be late with this groomer because she is immature in business and disorganized in her operations, so she cannot handle customers' lateness. Rocky is correct; the owner is very vindictive. Our dog's color wasn't put back on by her. She said she would mail it back to us after he texted her about it a week ago. We still haven't received it. Too bad it doesn't have a half a star rating. We eagerly await for her defensive response. Update: After this post became published we received the following text: " I'll be dropping your collar off as I didn't get to mail it yet. Sad that you felt the need to lie in your review. I'll let that karma sit with you" Appalling . We didn't lie about anything. . Something is not right about this lady. read more

Jessica is amazing! We had taken our puppy to another location for his first grooming session, and were not happy at all with how he looked afterwards. They didn't do at all what we asked, and they left him with really bad matting. I had spoken to Jessica at that point but she didn't have any appointments unfortunately for his first grooming, so I made sure to plan ahead for his next grooming session. She listened to all of my concerns about his first experience and made his second experience so much better. She actually looked at the inspiration photos we sent and kept us in the loop the whole time about what we wanted. He looked and smelled amazing after his appointment, and he was apparently extremely relaxed throughout. I strongly recommend Jessica, especially if it's your pup's first grooming experience. 10/10 would recommend Jessica!!! read more

I found out about MiniPaw Spa two months ago and loved the way they took care of my dog!! Therefore, I have decided to subscribe to their bath plan, where I pay $100 every month to have my two dogs bathed 4 times in the month. This deal is amazing as my dogs tend to get dirty and smelly quickly haha. The bath plan comes with a bath, nail trimming, ear cleaning, a nail glands, trim eyes, bottom, & feet. However, if you would like your dog to get a haircut when you have the bath plan, you would have to pay $25, which I don't think is bad. I'm so glad I found out about this grooming spot. Jessica and her partner are very kind and flexible with me. My dogs are always coming out of MiniPaw Spa smelling good and clean. My dogs are happy and so am i :) . I can understand accidents happens. I'm just in disbelief that they didn't informed me of a cut. Today, when I was cuddling my dog I just noticed this huge cut behind the ear. I do work a lot and it's been like 4 days since the grooming. The cut its about an inch or so but you can tell that it had bleed a lot. Ugh so disappointed and I can only imagine my little one being in so much pain. Will be looking for another groomer. Update: I took two dogs to get groomed. I had already noticed that my other dog had nips here and there. Ok, I understand but the other dog had this cut on this difficult spot. The previous owners of this establishment never had such "little accidents " and I had been frequently taking them there. BUT: The new owner is almost a bully! I will take my dog to the Vet today to determine the severity of this. If he thinks that it's something else I'll take it down. But regardless, I don't recommend anyone using this facility. The owner seems to be vindictive. I will do more research on this but this woman needs to control herself! read more
