Amazing Tails - Good clean girl. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

We took our dog in today, July 9, 2026. My dad asked how did she do and the guy said that her legs in her butt didn't like to get touched which is correct. They went to get her and our dog could not walk on the wood floors. She kept slipping and she was crying, and the guy proceeded to drag her as she's crying. I asked if I can get her and I went to go get her and helped her slowly so that she can walk. I did not like that at all. You do not drag a dog when they were slipping and crying. It made me upset instead of giving her time to walk on the wood slippery floor. I would never go back. I do not recommend this place unless you want your dog to be dragged. read more

I've been to this groomer for my two dogs a few times and every experience has been amazing. The owner, Erick, is so knowledgeable and reassuring. He takes such care and love with our pets and we come to pick our girls up with such excitement that they had a fun and safe grooming experience. Erick always answers all of my questions and covers all things that I appreciate coming into a groomer appointment. My girls are bathed, de-shedded, teeth cleaned, ear cleaned, glands cleaned, and so much more. Though working with a range of dogs can be stressful, Erick always has such a positive energy and smile on his face while greeting us. I would recommend this groomer business to everyone I know! read more

Competent and compassionate staff, ability to make same day appointment. They really listen to your needs and won't improvise with cuts.

our family dog Bella has been going to amazing tails for about 2 years now and so this review is long overdue... I love bringing Bella here because Erick the owner doesn't cage the dogs and Bella is not caged so this is one of the main reasons but also because Erick does a great job at grooming Bella...she always gets picked up smelling good and looking beautiful. We took our other family dog Archie for a deshedding today and it seemed to work because Archie is not shedding and he also seemed to be happy when we picked him up. Erick has also decorated his location and it looks so cute. We went today and he had a cute Halloween theme decorated all over the place. Anyways, thanks Erick for taking care of our babies, we know they're always in good hands. read more

We were looking for a new groomer for Bear since his current groomer changed ownership and we were not happy with the grooming anymore. I reached out to Amazing Tails after doing some research on Yelp and Erick responded within an hour or so. He said he will check his schedule first thing in the morning and I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Our first impression was "wow, what a big, clean space!" and a bonus was that all doggies are able to roam around instead of being put in kennels. We gave Erick a heads up that Bear can be a handful, moves around a lot and voices his excitement for everyone to hear. But after his grooming, Bear was a happy camper and I am so thankful that Erick took such good care of my little angel man. He looks and smells amazing and we can't wait to go back when he needs his next grooming! read more

Called for a quote and was able to get an appointment the very next day. Most places wouldn't take my lab because of his size and I had given up looking for a while. He took him in no problem and my Border Collie as well. I love the set up of doing it in front of clients, it's very transparent. It was also great that they got to roam around with the other dogs while they waited vs being kenneled the entire time. Both boys smell and look great! Will definitely be our new local groomer! read more

I took both of my dogs for their haircut and it was amazing. One of my dogs is super anxious and they were super kind to him. They took their time getting to know what he likes and doesn't like and shared a full report with me afterward. I'm so grateful to have found this place and will definitely be returning. The dogs looked great and happy when they were there. read more

No grooming shop has been able to trim my dogs claws. Somehow he made it seem easy. Like magic. Good price too.

This place just opened up 2 months ago and I'm glad I found them through yelp, I highly recommend this place ! I texted to set up an appointment and Erick was able to accommodate my 2 dogs the very next day. He took very good care of them and gave them a nice makeover. His attention to detail is superb, he was able to cut my dogs hair to exactly how I wanted them. He also told me that my small dog had a dry skin and applied some stuff to help relieve the issue. Usually most places I called does not groom chowchow but Erick took him in and did a fantastic job. 10/10 would come back. read more

We love this place!! Best groomers hands down! This is my dog, Meatball's second time getting her haircut here and they're amazing! Erik is the best and he takes such good care of her. My dog has a really bad anxiety so leaving her anywhere alone is always hard, but our first time coming he soothed her until we arrived for pick up. Thank you Erik for being so kind and taking extra care of Meatball, we appreciate it so much. We will certainly be long time loyal customers read more

Erick is incredible! He made Brookie feel at home, and he is usually very shy around new people. He provided a guide on how short we wanted his coat, which was very useful to know what we're going to get. He completed the cut in two hours and gave Brookie the cutest little bandana! I love his no-kennel concept and glad to have Amazing Tails so close to home. read more

I have to start off by pointing out what an amazing job they did with Saint my 1 year old hyper maltipoo pup! I asked for a "summer cut" because of how hot the climate has been lately, and I have to say I was not disappointed at all. Saint smelled so good and his coat felt very soft and silky after his grooming appointment which makes him so enjoyable to be around! Everything about the service provided here was professional, from the confirmation texts to the waiver signing before they begin any treatment. Erick was very welcoming and listened to all my concerns which helped take the edge off of leaving Saint with a new groomer and not to mention they are a KENNEL FREE environment. Saint was super calm yet happy when I arrived to pick him up I am grateful we found this place and would absolutely recommend him to anybody who is looking for a good quality groomer. read more

Great customer service. My little boy Oreo isn't really used to getting groomed and gets scared very easily but Erick was very patient with him and even stopped and continued the next day to finish the cut. Overall my son came out smelling great with a new haircut. 10/10 definitely returning whenever it's that time for his haircut. Also he did so much for such a great price could not recommend it enough. read more

Erick at Amazing Tails was so helpful getting our two huskies groomed. They were shedding so badly, needed a bath as they were so dusty and he really delivered! He made the whole process easy and our pups were very happy and beautiful when we picked them up. Highly recommend! See our 3rd pic of how bad their coats were , looked like homeless sheep dogs. Now they look like queens! read more

Such a nice place. I brought a pup in whose owner is down on his luck and doesn't have the resources to groom his dog. He was matted, full of fox tails and just a mess. Erick took him in right away on a Sunday and got him all fixed up for the summer. Thank you so much!! read more

The place is new and currently only has one groomer, the owner, Eric. Getting an appointment was easy, he's responsive to text, the price is reasonable and he did a good job with my two small dogs. I do like that he doesn't kennel the dogs while they wait although mine don't mind either way. They came back smelling and looking great and they weren't traumatized which is always a risk I'm worried about. Would recommend to anyone in the area. read more

We have never taken our 2 year old doggy to a groomers before and we were super nervous when picking a location but when we messaged the owner we felt like he was genuine and decided to take a chance and we are so happy we did! He was super nice to our maple and she seemed to love him from the moment she saw him. We definitely recommend! We got the deshedding service because she sheds so much and had pretty long nails. After her service she smelled so great and her fur has never looked silkier! Maple even looks happier to be so clean with her trimmed nails. read more

I've been too a few different groomers before this one opened up and this one has been my favorite over all. I haven't gone to anyone else ever since. My doggy is so comfortable here, probably because of the pets she receives lol. The job itself is done amazingly, especially the nail cuts. My dog's nails are black and not a lot of people know how to cut them but this place knows perfectly. There's no one else i would trust with my doggy. read more
