Writing this review because even after 4 days later my mini aussie still smells sooo good after her bath & trim! I was able to call in for a same day appt and prices were quoted by the weight of my pup. Love that they're not kept in enclosed tiny kennels before and after and they even send you cute photos after their spaw day.

Super friendly and incredibly flexible with scheduling! They booked me the next day and I was able to get my doodle cut and groomed :) They were so nice and loving towards Koa and they dont use crates but rather open space kennels. I used to take Koa to Petco but Koa had severe anxiety there but when I came to pick him up he was just chilling! I ll definitely be back next month-- Pricing was fair, it was about $100 for grooming, he s a 32 lb dog~ They also had a super cute photo shoot with him after he was done!

I walked in wanting a nail trim for my baby doggy. They took me as a walk-in which I was super grateful for. I got in and out in less than 10 minutes. The man at the counter was so friendly and after learning my dog's name, he took my baby right in. This was the first time my baby got a nail trim from someone other than me or my partner. The staff all came up and took care of my dog in such a friendly manner and the lady in charge of the nail trim went right to business. My dog was calm and quiet, curious at the smell of the new place. There's two gates separating each section. Another dog inside was howling and barking at mine behind the last gate and the man identified they may quarrel, so he asked to have it be carried by another staff, which I was thankful for. My dog jumped up on their table and was then leashed to it. He doesn't like being restrained so he let out a growl and the staff lady immediately just went to put a cover on my dog's mouth to prevent possibly being bit. As she cut the nails, the guy was patting my dog so much and I was also giving rubs. I'm very thankful for her speed and precision in cutting my dog's nails. I also needed to help keep his arm still because my dog would move it around hahaha. I'm also so sorry that apparently my dog had stepped on poop and had poop under his paw! Omg so embarassing! We had just walked earlier and I remember him sniffing at poop and I pulled him away, but I had not realized he had stepped on it! The lady quickly went to get a towel and wipes and handled it well. I was all the more grateful again and soon she finished doing all his paws. The staff and the guy remarked at how cute my dog was and I was so happy as I walked him out. I paid afterwards for the service ($10 nail trim) and gave a tip. Thank you guys for treating my fur baby so well! - clean and bright, no strong smell - fast and efficient - friendly and caring - affordable prices They also went above and beyond by cleaning my dog's ears after noticing it was dirty! Highly reccommend!

I've taken my dog to Groomingdale three times now and had great experiences every time. They've always had day-of availability, which helps me because I'm a last minute booker. I've also noticed that my dog is calm going into the salon, unlike our last place where she would be terrified the second we pulled into the parking lot. That's how you know the staff treats their dogs very well. They've also been so sweet to me when I drop off and pick up. I'm very happy I found this place!

They are great at communication and will call/ send text message updates and reminders when it's time to pick up your dog. They'll even take really cute photos and send them to you! I had a wonderful experience with Groomingdales and highly recommend them! I brought my dog in for a simple nail trim. Not only did they trim his nails, they also took the time to file them, which made such a difference. They were very reasonably priced, which was another big plus. But what really stood out was how caring and attentive they were. They noticed right away that my dog was a little nervous, and since I was only there for a nail trim, they kindly offered to let me come back with him to help keep him calm.They also kept everything clean and tidy, vacuuming the area afterward. I'll definitely be coming back and would recommend Groomingdales to anyone looking for a kind and affordable grooming spot! read more

This review is only for the nail trim service. Nail trim has gone up in price now.. I initially liked to come here because it was $10.. and then soon 12, 15.. and recently I was priced $20. It makes it harder to keep coming back consistently. Plus my dog has been dreading coming here every time and is visibly stressed or anxious because other dogs are in the vicinity watching and/or barking. read more

We loved Kim and staff. We brought our elderly "baby" for nail clipping and they did such an amazing job. They clipped and filed his nails. They took such good care of preparing our baby for the nail trimming. I could not believe the cost was 1/2 what other dog groomers charge. I would not walk to this exceptional place -- I would run to it. Plus Kim took us in right away -- the same day we called. read more

If you have a little scruffy maltipoo take them here and you will pick up a brand new little puff ball! Pepe had an accident when we got to the groomer (he was nervous ) and they handled it so kindly . They did and amazing job on Pepe(black and white) and Banana(white). They looked like the happiest little sunshine's ever. 10/10 experience read more

I've been looking for a groomer for my dog, Uno, since we moved to the valley. Groomingdale was very patient with Uno given that he tends to be aggressive when he's anxious. I've been coming to Groomingdale for the past 2 years and I loved coming here because it's close to where I live, they knew the cuts I wanted for my dogs and it was reasonable price. Just the other day I was recommending them to a friend of mine and she told me she had walked in here before to ask about prices but walked out when she saw one of the lady groomers slapping one of the dogs on the head when trying to groom an incorporative dog. One of my dogs is terrified of the groomers and we've had a little incident where they accidentally cut on top of her eyelid but I thought it was just due to my dog moving a lot and trying to bite when cutting around her eyes. They were never able to finish the job around her eyes except for the last time I took them there. I was very shocked that they were able to cut around her eyes. So with this new information, I'm wondering now if my dog was also a victim of abuse. I'm very disappointed because I had a good relationship with them and I liked the grooming they did but I have to find a new groomer for the safety of my dogs. read more

My Groomer had a close in. I happen to find this great place. They have groomed all my dogs and I'm very happy with their work. The place is immaculate and very well. Taken care of my dogs were happy when I picked them up, which means they were treated well. read more

So glad I found this place! I've been taking my dog to a place on Ventura Blvd to get his nails cut, but I feel like the service is inconsistent and the prices have gone up. So I decided to try Groomingdale, which also happens to be closer to my house. I won't even pretend that my dog was well-behaved. But even with him being very nervous, they were still very kind and gentle. Not to mention it was only $10 for the nail cut. If they'll have us, we'll definitely be back. read more

Best grooming spot in Northridge!! Called a day before for my pup schnauzer, took us the next day. He's usually a tough one to work on but Groomingdale did an AMAZING job. Cute schnauzer cut, smells great ( even next day ). Nails CLIPPED! he usually doesn't let anyone touch his nails. Love love! Definitely new grooming spot for us. read more

Came back and brought both dogs together (Porter and Cooper). I usually break them up into separate sessions, but the amazing staff was able to take them both and I've never seen either of the dogs so happy at the groomers! I can't say enough great things about Groomingdale thank you for showing so much love and care to our dogs! read more

FANTASTIC find. I received a flyer in the mail and thought why not. My dogs already had a terrible hair cut, it can't get any worse. I received a text message when they were ready with a picture attached. Best haircut they have ever had. They looked absolutely adorable. My little papillon had a perfect haircut around the face! She looks like a toy. Groomingdale is officially our new groomer. Super cute inside and VERY clean. Easy to get an appointment which is very important to we procrastinators. THEY'RE WORTH THE TRY AND THE MONEY!! I PROMISE. Just took our Bamie girl for the first time here today and I must say this place is a gem!! Accessible parking, very pleasant Korean staff (we are BTS/Kpop and Knovela fans) AND THEIR GROOMING SALON IS ORGANIZED AND SPARKLING CLEAN. Our business has been our dream since we first started grooming. The passion for animal care, making it our goal to have a safe place people can trust to bring their pets was always a priority. Your pets health and care always being number one .

We are a small family owned/operated full service salon and we treat all pets as our own. We do Pet Grooming for All breeds according to AKC standards or per client request. Hand Scissored sculptured styles. We use all natural Shampoos. We offer Doggie Day Care as well! Here at Groomingdale we are aimed to please both you and your pet. We want everyone to leave happy!
