I chose Bubble Pup Salon because I loved their grooming work online and was excited to book an appointment for my Golden Doodle. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service was extremely disappointing. I first called multiple times during business hours and never got an answer, so I used the text number on their website. They responded, asked about my dog, answered questions about their grooming style, offered me a Saturday appointment at 11 a.m., and I accepted. They replied, "Okay." At that point, I simply asked what additional info they needed to complete the booking. That's when the communication completely stopped. I sent multiple follow-ups, a reference photo, even asked the next morning why no one had followed up after offering me the appointment. My messages were read, but no response, no explanation, no attempt to complete the booking. I understand that schedules can change, but once a business offers an appointment, and the customer accepts it, the professional thing to do is either complete the booking or communicate. Reading repeated messages without responding left me extremely disappointed. Beautiful grooming photos may attract customers, but communication and professionalism are what earn trust. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. read more

My Butler had a spa day today! I am VERY particular with my Morkie, he has special hair that doesn't shed and is quite cotton like. I have had a few botched grooming dates done that has had me basically do it myself. I met a woman at a park and her dog looked so cute. We moved to this area just one year ago and tried various different groomers because we just couldn't find a place that could cut our lil pup the way we wanted her to look. Stumbled upon this place while searching and we are so happy we went. They give a little print out photo on the first visit and then send photos of your pet after they're done grooming to let you know they're done. Our pets are pretty anxious and have shown much resistance when we went to other groomers but they do not show as much fear here. The ladies are so sweet and choose the cutest accessories to send your pups home with. Parking is really easy. It's in the Little Tokyo Galleria so you can use that structure there. It should be free for the first few minutes and that should be enough time to drop your pups off. First, before I even tell you about the quality of work, I will start by saying that this business is extremely unprofessional. I made an appointment for my 2 dogs last Wed or Thur for Tue, 1/24/23 (today) at 1pm. I made sure I let them know the sizes of my dogs and their names and that only 1 of them would need the cut as well (the small dog). My girlfriend dropped the dogs off since I couldn't get off work until 12:30p and work in Century City. My girlfriend called me and told me that Bubble Pup Salon informed her that our dogs wouldn't be ready for 3-4 hours. When she told me this, I immediately called to ask why it was going to take long since I already had made an appointment previously and made sure I stressed that it would be 2 dogs. The lady who answered the phone (Rosa), told me that they only had 1 groomer available today because the other groomer had other appointments. I again asked why I was booked with only 1 groomer when I had asked for 2 dogs to be groomed about a week before I even came in? She again just kept saying that they only had 1 groomer to do both dogs and that's why it's going to take 3-4 hours. This went back and forth for a few minutes where she just wouldn't answer my question and just kept making excuses that other appointments were late and some dogs take longer which adds to our time. All I wanted to know was why I was scheduled on a day where they only had 1 groomer available for 2 dogs? I would have taken them in any other day so to me, this did not make sense. She became frustrated because I wanted to know why I didn't get a groomer for each dog when I made my appointment and told me I was "wasting her time" and she had work to do. I then told her "I'm wasting your time? That is very unprofessional". She then said "You call me unprofessional, them you can pick up your dogs if I'm unprofessional." I told her that what she said was unprofessional not her as a business owner or groomer. She was mad at that point and told me that I can come back and get my dogs because I'm saying that she's not a professional. I asked her "Are you really not going to groom my dogs because I wanted my question answered?" She said "Yes, you can come get them now". I then said "Okay, no problem, I'l be there in a few min. When I got in the salon, I asked her again if she really wanted me to leave and she told me that I didn't want her to groom them. I told her that I never said that and she is the one who told me to come get them. She then said "You called me unprofessional so it made me mad". I told her "I never called YOU unprofessional" and that "Telling a customer that they are wasting your time when they just want to know why they were not booked properly and are about to pay good money IS unprofessional to say". I followed up by saying, "How are you going to say that to a customer who is trying to spend money at your business?" "How would you feel if you were told that when asking a question?" (Mind you, the entire call was 7min) She really didn't answer me but just said she got mad because she thought I was telling her that she was not a professional and then asked if I wanted to still get the grooming done and after talking to my girlfriend, we decided to still give them a shot since their pics are really nice. Also, my small dog needed a cut desperately so that was another determining factor. I'm not gonna lie, I really wanted to say no and just leave but I didn't listen to my instincts and I figured that since there was a bit of a language barrier, maybe all of this was just a miscommunication ‍. Well, fast forward to 3 hours later... I just wanted to get them out of there and didn't want to be overly critical of anything given the drama to start so I paid, then got then put the leashes on my dogs. I'm a good tipper but I really really didn't want to leave a tip but left 15% anyway (which I regret now). So I didn't even notice just how bad the hair cut for my small dog (Pompoo) actually was. I'll let the pics do the majority of the talking but the worst part is the shaved area at her chest smh ‍. My conclusion is that this place is either incompetent and the pics on here are fake or that Rosa did this on purpose because she admittedly was "mad" because of the whole "unprofessional" thing earlier. If the latter is true, that is just sad and makes me so mad. Either way, I'm never bringing my dogs here ever again. I usual go to Vanderpump dogs close to the Beverly Center. I'll definitely be going back again even though it's much further and a bit more expensive. It's worth every penny now that I've taken them to this place. read more

After my favorite groomer left the old grooming place I used to go and had bad experience with a new groomer, I decided to try a different place and found the Bubble Pup Salon. Seems like they are new since there aren't many reviews but they're all 5 stars so I gave them a try. First I love their convenient online reservation system. It makes it so easy to book an appointment. I randomly picked Rosa as my fury girl's groomer. Oh...I have to say that I love her. Rosa is so sweet. I believe my girl loves her too. She acted so calmly on her table when sneak peek at her. My girl always has problems when people touch her nails especially the the front paws but Rosa was still able to clip all her nails although she couldn't grind her front nails since she bit her when she tried grinding them, which I totally understand. When I picked her up, I was so surprised and happy on how she looks. I would say it was the best cut for my girl ever. Super pretty and it was exactly what I wanted. Rosa also took a Polaroid photo of my beautiful girl for my copy. Most importantly, her price was very reasonable compared to my 'old' go to grooming place where costs a lot more and didn't get the same kind of service.
