My dog loves this place!! Will never take him anywhere else - The people are so sweet and patient with him. Highly recommend!!!

If I could give Jess Rona 1,000 stars, I would! For years, I drove by Jess Rona's on our way to the vet/groomer, always curious about the place. I finally looked into it, and I'll be honest: the price made me stop at first. After two years of trying groomers who weren't giving our floof, Maggie Moo, the experience and results we wanted after our vet/groomer retired, we finally booked an appointment. And let me tell you, I wish we'd done it sooner! Jess Rona is, hands down, the best dog grooming experience in LA, and it's worth every penny. The level of care, attention to detail, and artistry is simply unmatched. Maggie Moo isn't just another appointment on the schedule; she's our baby, and we want her treated with the same love and care we give her at home. That's exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, and Jess Rona is the perfect example. The quality speaks for itself, and once you experience the difference, you understand why people rave about this place. We finally found our groomer, and we couldn't be happier! If you're on the fence because of the price, I get it; I was there too. But trust me, it is absolutely worth it. Your floof deserves the best, and Maggie Moo has finally found hers! Thank you, Jess Rona, for taking such wonderful care of our girl. We're officially fans for life! read more

BONJOUR, DARLINGS! It is I, Mozzarella! International beauty icon, professional pink poodle, part-time diva, full-time princess, and living proof that perfection comes in a very small, VERY PINK package. I recently returned to Jess Rona Grooming in Larchmont Village for a little pre-vacation maintenance. One cannot possibly embark on an international adventure looking like one has been chasing squirrels. MON DIEU! I emerged from the salon looking as though Barbie and Lisa Frank had a baby, dipped her in pink glitter, placed a turquoise bow upon her head, and named her MOZZARELLA. JE SUIS LE BÉBÉ! HOT PINK FUR! SPARKLING PINK NAILS! A TURQUOISE HEART BOW perched atop my magnificent coiffure! DARLING, I AM A LIMITED EDITION. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ME FROM MY ORIGINAL PACKAGING. First, let's discuss the establishment. ABSOLUTE POODLE PERFECTION! Beautiful vintage poodles EVERYWHERE! FINALLY, an art gallery dedicated to a subject worthy of my attention. Poodles, oodles, and BOODLES of gorgeous vintage poodle artwork! I felt as though I'd entered the Louvre, except every masterpiece was a poodle. As it should be. The walls were practically a family reunion. Portraits of my distinguished ancestors everywhere! Such elegance! Such sophistication! Such magnificent hairstyles! I may have bowed before one of them. One must respect one's pedigree. Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't commissioned my portrait. I'll have my agent call. NOW, MY GLAM SQUAD! Deni and Brooke are FABULOUS! Lenny handles my luxurious pink shampoo and bubble bath. I prefer to think of it as my ceremonial transformation from household pet to international superstar. And the lovely Abby at reception ensures that my arrival receives the appropriate level of enthusiasm. This team understands that I am not merely a dog. I am a BRAND. A cultural phenomenon. A very small celebrity who deserves star treatment. They are genuinely warm, welcoming, and wonderful. Every exit feels like a little celebration... perhaps they should roll out hot pink carpet for me. AND THEN, DARLINGS, WE SHOP! One cannot simply emerge from a fabulous beauty appointment and go directly home. WHAT AM I, A GOLDEN RETRIEVER? After my appointment, Mama and I promenade through charming Larchmont Village. First, we stop at Erin McKenna's Bakery, where Mama gets her little gluten-free vegan pastry. Apparently, SHE needs a treat after MY spa day. THE AUDACITY! Then we cross the street to the pet store, where I select MY treats. Mama calls this our little tradition. I call it the bare minimum. Between the gorgeous salon, my fabulous glam squad, and our charming neighborhood shopping ritual, I've decided Larchmont Village is essentially Paris, except nobody has asked me for my passport. I'm considering establishing a pied-à-terre. MERCI BEAUCOUP, JESS RONA GROOMING! Five paws! I'd give six, but anatomically, it's complicated. BISOUS ET BACI! Mozzarella Professional princess. International fluff model. Living Barbie-meets-Lisa-Frank illustration. Currently accepting modeling contracts, cuddles, marriage proposals from handsome toy poodles of noble pedigree, and compliments. read more

I'm so happy that I found this place. I don't a walk with Miss Ethel-Mae. The staff is friendly professional, and very, very caring of the four legged babies. She always smells like a little oven baked cookie when I pick her up and it's just adorable. Ethel is also very happy to be there and to see what new friends she can make. read more

Truly the best there is. Your dog will be pampered and taken care of with love and attention. The way they smell after going there is so yummy and delish. Yes it can be on the pricier side but it's truly worth it and you get what you pay for. I had a poodle terrier mix and no one does the grooming and haircuts like them. And they're very gentle and caring with shyer dogs. Our new pup is a bit more full of energy and crazy and they are great with him too! read more

There's a haircut and then there's a Jess Rona Grooming haircut and there's no other way to explain it. With an artisanal-level of detail, the difference is immediately notable when taking our dog to JGR, especially around the face and the typically harder to trim areas that are often times ignored by other groomers. All of Jess's staff are more than capable of doing the JGR magic when Jess can't take care of our girl herself. And for humans, the shop is adorable with the best knickknacks + doggy report card. read more

I was fortunate to find Jess through our groomer in SF after moving to LA and what a great referral it ended up being. Jess and her entire team are just absolute gems. They are unfailingly kind,, welcoming, and friendly at every single interaction Far too often these days it's easy to find people that phone it in or just are being nice to you because it's their job. Quite the opposite here - everyone is so warm and lovely because you can tell they love what they do. It's genuine and it really shows. They take excellent care of our little queen, and make her look and feel like one too! They are well worth every penny. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Jess Rona Grooming - My baby loves going in for his groom! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

One of the most wonderful things about JRG is how obvious it is when you walk in the front door - just how happy the dogs are to be there. If you're a dog owner than you know - a groomer can be the least favorite place for your beloved furry friends. Not only do my dogs love being there - they actually enjoy their baths. I think it's a miracle to find a place where the groomers actually know what they're doing, genuinely love dogs, and want to make it all a special experience for everyone involved. Once you try JRG you will never take your dogs anywhere else. read more
