Great for bigger dogs ... mine is small so he was freezing a bit due store A/C lol but very conveniente and affordable .

Washing Spot responded to my request to get my 7-month-old pup groomed for the first time amazingly prompt. They took us in first thing the next day. Right around the third hour, as they said, Erza was ready to be picked up. She happily greeted us smelling just like a baby, hair was soft and smooth to the touch, and was fashioning a free maroon colored dog bandana (thank you). It seems Erza had a great experience and would very much consider coming back. read more

Used their self-washing. (You need to reservation!) Parking is behind the structure, parking entrance on the right side of the building. Amazing staff. They got all that you want for a self wash. This is my new thing! Was having a conversation about a spot where "you wash doggie." Didn't know that was a thing! So the dog has never been washed in his life and he's about 3 years old. Took him in, was greeted by a friendly employee who was very helpful with letting us know what was provided and included and showing us newcomers what to do. I had the funniest and fun time with my BF washing dog. Everything was included, shampoo, conditioner, ear clean stuff, teeth spray, towels, blow dryer, brush, washing apron, scrub. He was so good for a first timer. There was even a little soft cute pug that was walking around and greeted him. Doggie is pretty tall. He's considered a large dog. It cost us $25 with tip out the door. We went on early Saturday morning so we just parked on the street. Was in n out within an hour. I think they have 2 washing stations. It wasn't busy when we came, but like I said, we came early. I saw people got bandanas but we didn't get one? Maybe that's just grooming services. What a fun, awesome, unforgettable experience!!! Thanks Washing Spot!!! read more

I've taken my 12 year old Docker to a bunch of pet grooming spots in the area. Washing Spot is the first place I have found where my little dude doesn't have anxiety afterwards and looks great. It's been difficult to find a groomer that can cut my dogs hair right. Elizabeth is extremely kind and quick to respond to messages. I can not recommend this place enough. This place is great, friendly staff. They also offer self wash. Best and cheapest competitive priced groomers. Most comfortable place we can bring Smoothie (German Shep mix) for a wash. They have their own friendly dog greeting when entering. Parking is tricky, but we try to do a quick drop off and pick up on the drive way. Receive a call when your pet is done. read more

The best groomer in the area! I have a very difficult pup and they do such a great job giving him a thorough clean, nail trim, etc. Whatever shampoo they use leaves him soft as can be for weeks! My pup hates being groomed, but absolutely adores her groomers at washing spot. It's a very confusing experience for her because she's so excited to see them but the second she sees where we are she starts to tug to go home, it's pretty amusing. The groomers at the washing spot always do an amazing job! I have a shiba Inu which is a double coated dog, and I bring her in when she starts to blow her coat. It keeps her from covering my hard wood floors in hair for a solid week, and that one week is always glorious. read more

Washing Spot - Bella with her new cut !! Prutty ! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I had my dog groomed here about 3-4x total, and today is my last. There were no issues the last few times she's gotten groomed here, but today when we went to pick my dog up and then asked if they could snip a bit more on her beard, they took her to the back room and didn't come out for 10-15 minutes. When they came out, my dog was bleeding - they had snipped off a part of her tongue. I understand these things can happen, but I was extremely horrified at how they handled the situation. They kept arguing with me that she is fine and it's nothing, instead of showing concern or offering to refund us for what we paid. When I firmly said that I really do hope it is nothing, but as a pet owner I need to take her to the vet and demanded that they reimburse for any vet costs, they agreed. My vet was fortunately open and I was able to have her take a look at my dog at no cost, so I went back to the Washing Spot to let them know that although a part of her tongue was cut off, it would heal and would be ok- and they wouldn't need to reimburse anything because my vet didn't charge me. They didn't even apologize, offer a refund, or show any responsibility. They did offer to wash the blood off of her beard which is laughable. On top of that, they thought they never had my dog's collar when they actually did have it and we had to keep pushing them that they had it to finally have them find it. No accountability and terrible customer service to a former loyal customer. I'm very upset my dog had to go thru this ordeal and feel very not taken care of after they made such a scary mistake. I am never coming back here again. read more

It's a small place and the wash stations are close to each other. Industry standard wash basins and the going rate for pricing. Our pooches were shedding bad - and the staff didn't mind at all. I used to take my pup somewhere else for nail trims because it's the only thing I don't feel comfortable doing to her. And they always said she was a really difficult case, and last time I didn't like how they treated her, so I've been looking for a new spot. I didn't even realize this place is walking distance from my house, and she got my dog in and out quickly and said she wasn't too bad which is such a relief! She greeted her and gave her some pets and love with is already more than the last people would do to make her comfortable. DEFINITELY gonna keep coming back! read more

Way cool. I'm a new pet owner, so if you are one too, I'll try to help explain this. Washing spot offers dog grooming, but it's also a self dog wash too. Everything is provided - shampoo, conditioner, ear wash, mouth spray, brushes, towels, aprons, dryer and deodorant spray. You won't need anything else. For 10 bucks, you get a big tub to strap your dog into. You can use everything provided, and the staff will even help you if there's something you don't understand. Or, you need to hold your pup down for nail cutting.... The areas are always sparkling clean, and it never smells like wet dog in here! Never again will I have to wash my dog in the tub, crouched over and uncomfortable. There's a resident dog here as well who's super friendly. Great spot for a dog wash, maybe next time I'll try the grooming! read more

Great spot! Came in on a Tuesday around 3:45 thinking I would be done with my self wash in about 30 min. I ended up staying until 6 because it took longer than expected to remove all the fleas from my dog. Yelp states that they close at 5, so I was expecting them to kick me out... but nope, the staff was very welcoming and let me wash my dog unhurriedly. There was an open station when I arrived- self wash stations are first come, first serve. They provide plenty of things for your wash! An apron, ear cleaning solution, cotton balls and q tips, pet wipes, pawfume, shampoo, conditioner, dental spray, a very nice fur dryer... you are set! You can even bring in your own items if you prefer that. My dog came out looking fresh and free of fleas (flea shampoo +$2 upon request). Self wash tip for flea removal, the blow dryer does a great job to rid of dead fleas and helps you spot remaining fleas. I was really pleased with the pricing, considering how long I got to stay and the nice amenities available. Even purchased a bandana for little Lila. Staff was really friendly and helpful! read more

Love this place!! Came here after getting my pup tired out from Silver Lake Dog Park! Looking at him covered in mud, I felt dread thinking of bathing him in my tiny shower at home so I found this place! I hate leaving my dog with the groomer for hours so I decided on a self wash. Street parking is available and metered $2 per hour, I was easily able to find a spot right outside the door. To wash my 52 lb dog it took about 45 minutes (total 75 cents for parking). Liz was awesome and super friendly! She explained the products and process step by step. So if you're thinking about trying a self wash for the first time don't be shy! The facility is trendy and clean, everything you need is there and they are well organized. There is warm water, a towel, shampoo, conditioner, dryer, brushes, ear cleaning products, dental spray and face wipes for your dog. They even had "Pawfume" available! I used about 2 sprays on my dog at the end and it wasn't too overpowering. When I got home my fiance commented that he smelt like baby powder. I really recommend this place if you find yourself and your bathroom covered in water and dog hair! Definitely will be back! read more

First time today (Sunday) for a full groom and I am a happy dog owner. My dog Max was dropped off around 12:50 and his Appt was at 1pm. I received a phone call at 2:18 saying Max will be ready for pick up in 15mins. I was really preparing to wait for over 2hrs since it was a weekend. I guess it's due to past experiences when I have taken max to get groomed on a weekend I waited about 4hrs. I picked up Max and he was so happy! He smelled amazing too. I need to call Liz and ask what kind of shampoo and conditioner they used on Max because I can't stop smelling him lol. For about $40 I'll definitely take Max back here. He doesn't let me cut his nails so I'm glad he let's others do it. They're closed on Mondays but open on a Sunday which is convenient for many people. Parking is kind of tough during the weekend because it's free but there is a small street where you can park and do a quick drop off & pick up. Anyways, I recommend this place. I'm retiring the other place I used to go to because my dog seemed to always be dehydrated . & today's experience, Max wasn't dehydrated at all. If anyone has any idea of what kind of shampoo/conditioner the washing spot uses let me know please! read more

Listen - I know I should have said something when I picked up my dog, but I was in shock and raised to be a people pleaser so I just took her and left. However... if you have a double coated dog - be very cautious if you take them here. I have a border collie mix, one of the breeds that you ARE NOT supposed to shave as it can damage their coat for YEARS and mess with their natural ability to keep cool in summer/warm in winter. I took my dog in for a bath and brush out, and asked for a trim for her feet, sanitary, and a TRIM on her legs. The groomer SHAVED her whole body. You would think a groomer would a) be able to listen to the instructions provided by the owner and b) would understand the different grooming practices necessary for double coated breeds. On top of all of that, my dog's belly area was shaved down so much that it was red, irritated, and had some scratch marks. I was also very surprised initially at how fast this was completed - her grooms typically take 3+ hours, but I received the text that she was ready barely after 2 hours. All in all, I personally will not be bringing my border collie back here and caution anyone with a double coated breed as well. (I included a before picture as well) read more

Completely satisfied with their grooming services. Lucy at the front desk was really friendly. She was able to squeeze my dog in for grooming. Took the time to call me back. The concept of an all inclusive self washing dog grooming facility in echo park is great. With the saturation of dog owners in the area thIs is a very cost efficient way to keep your dog clean and fresh. The inaccessibility to these thIng during open hours of business is also a disappointment. There's business closing hours although the last wash for these services are a HARD cutoff one hour before closing. Like if you show up few minutes after the 'cutoff' before 'closing', and ensure a quick 10 min wash.....you're turned away. When searching for the store closing hours (google) it will simply reflect the hours of closing not last wash. You need to go to the stores website and under an asterisk, well it's there. I get it. The staff want to leave early and ensure everything is maintained before closing. Just adjust your hours of closing and shut the door at that cut off.....easy expectations. UPDATE: Came back during open hours, washed dog, quick and easy, everyone is happy. While checking out, unbeknown to me, the owner approached me with an unnecessary, condescending attitude, asking about my line of work, asked if would "stay 30 mins past my work hours for a customer". Felt completely blindsided by the inquisition. Instead of giving a very thorough lecture of how perception, and reality play a big role in customer experience I decided to walk away and dismiss the attack. While walking away she told me I'm no longer welcome there. One star review = banned For a bad review, bad customer experience there is always recourse. Yelp Reviews can be edited and taken off. Instead she chose to irrevocably tarnish her experience as a business owner. read more
