Brought my Doodle Toby to this groomer 4 months ago for grooming and had no problem. Today I show up for grooming and they refuse to groom him because he is too intimidated. (Scared).Toby is only 1 year old. Very disappointed in their attitude. Been going to this business for over 15 years. I ask myself...why did they have no problem grooming him 4 months ago and today they refuse to groom him? I will never recommend Sue's Grooming to any of my fellow pet owners again. I am sort of embarrassed!!! read more

I have been taking my three dogs to Sue's Grooming for two years now. Over time, my once timid dogs have grown to really like the owners, whom are a sweet Korean couple that take care of all your grooming needs. They do a wonderful job of turning my three stinky doggies into two beautiful princesses and a prince. I also appreciate that they are almost always able to accommodate me for a same day appointment. I notice a big impact on my dogs' well-being when they get groomed regularly. While it can sometimes be pricey, I think it is well worth the money. I really commend Sue's Grooming for the good work, care, and compassion they show my dogs. I will never forget the time the husband and wife went above and beyond when I brought my dogs in with painfully irritated skin due to over grooming and bug bites. They noticed my dogs' hot spots and were very concerned, caring, and gentle with my dogs. They use an organic shampoo for extra dry skip and anti flea soap for their baths, so this helped alleviate their pain. In addition, they sent me home with an all-natural hot spot oil to apply to my dogs' hot spots (spots with severe redness and skin irritation) to help provide relief and promote healing. By the time I pick up my dogs, I can always tell they are a lot happier and more comfortable now that their overgrown or matted fur is cut off, nails are cut, hair brushed out, and skin moisturized. Overall, I highly recommend this business for all your grooming needs!! Thank you Sue's Grooming! :) read more

Im not to sureee, im standing outside her business and i can see through the glass how she is very poorly treating the dog she is grooming, she is hitting her head repeatedly while grabbing the dogs neck aggressively everytime it squeals or moves, mind you its a small black dog, i personally wouldnt take my dog there read more

My wife and I started going here recently after picking up a quarantine puppy. Our poor maltipoo needs a lot of grooming attention and at first we were overwhelmed by the number of grooming options available to us. We were so happy to find Sue's grooming! They are amazing, friendly and their prices are very affordable. They are on time when it comes to their grooming so if you need a job done they can get it scheduled in and even call you 30 minutes before in anticipation of a job being finished so that they can help you schedule a pickup! The owners are truly pet people and are always so customer service oriented that I could not imagine taking my dog elsewhere. I highly recommend Sue's Grooming! The fastest, nicest service with a smile. 5/5 Customer Service 5/5 Grooming Needs 5/5 Availability 5/5 Overall read more

Friendly staff , pretty fast turn around and both our dogs looked great. Good price . We will definitely return.

Just s simple mom and pop owned grooming place where you can get your pup a non fancy grooming for a decent price. The owners are super nice and pleasant. read more

This groomers is located at a non fancy strip mall on a non fancy street but the prices are good and they are quick. It's owned and managed by a Korean couple who both does all the grooming themselves I've been bringing my dog for almost 3 years now. I love that they have availabilities on weekends and are open on Sundays. A typical grooming session is an hour and half or less! By the time I drop off my dog and come back home I would get a call half an hour later that he's ready for pick up. Lol. That's a good thing so your dog doesn't have to be there all day, unless you plan to drop off your dog and run errands. I've have yet to have any issues with this place and love that they know my dog by name whenever I call in. Support your local small businesses. (-: read more

I took my dog in to get his claws trimmed. My dog can be a little wild, so I offered to help the man hold him. He was fine with it. Then the owner came up and pushed my dog away and kept blowing in his face. He made me go stand outside while they did the dog's nails and said that the dog would behave better if he didn't see me. The trim was done by a very nice Latino man, but the owners were not very polite and it's obvious they are not animal lovers; this is strictly a job to them. read more

I found this place in yelp. I called and asked for the price of a full service for 2 maltipoo's. They are small and weight about 10lbs. They told me it would be $35. The first 3-4 times I took them there I did the teddy bear face with poofy paws. They even added bows complimentary. This last time I went the full service is still $35 but now to add bows it's $5 :( and for teeth cleaning it's another $5 Overall I love their service. They love pets and you can tell. They do a great job grooming. I've never made an appointment and they usually take about 3 hours to have both of my dogs done. They are closed Tuesdays FYI read more

This place gets one star. Someone recommended sues groomer for their cheap prices. I drove 50 min to sues grooming. They asked if he bites. He doesn't bite but my maltipoo is 5 years old and not familiar so his behavior is just being scared. All dogs will try to nip at u I'd they don't know you. I tried to leave my dog here. And they wouldn't accept him. My advice to this place is to learn how to deal with all dogs.. if you're a groomer u have to know that all dogs coming to your business are different. This place will only service u if they like your dog. They pick and choose who they want to service. My dog never showed bad behavior. He was backed in a corner. Ans the correct thing to do is allow him to smell your hand. DONT GO HERE EVER read more

Absolutely the best groomers you can have in the valley. I live in NoHo and being my babies here and only here. The older couple running this place are incredibly kind and very fast. One of my dogs went blind bevy early on and they were very sad to hear the news and also catered to his new needs at his next appointment. read more

Took my puppy there , they give my turkey such a ugly haircut, so uneven and unprofessional, maybe a two years old can do a better job . Sorry I usually don't write and comments in Yelp but this time I have too . My whole family are disappointed. read more

"Toto is Ready!" Fast, friendly, happy, great-paw service! I started coming here after I was recommended, one of the main reasons is because they were opened on Sunday! This fit my schedule PERFECTLY!! I've taken Toto here 3 times, and each time I've very pleased with the service. Toto likes it too because he never claws when we drop him off and is all puppy tail wags when we pick him up. Their pricing is very compatible for a small dog it's only $35, and they are great to their repeat customers. The location itself is very small and standard, their counter just consist of a register, their office items and business cards etc. They have some supplies and merchandise there but I never paid too much attention to it. As far as his haircut, we both love it! I've taken him to other places where they think cutting his hair means shaving him, here cutting his hair means taking scissors and cutting his hair, they do a great job with puppy dog faces and cleaning his ears! Toto has floppy ears and is prone to get ear infections so finding a place that's able to thoroughly clean his ears is very important. After their grooming depending on how many dogs are there they have a play area. His hair cut maintains for several months! Although we take him in more frequently for his nails and ears it's great to find a place that's knows what their doing, has fast friendly service and doesn't scare Toto. read more

This is an update after 2 letters from me and one from them , I have been refunded all my money for the vet visits

If I could give negative stars, I would. This has to be the worst place I have ever been to. I stood there for 2-3 minutes explaining to these people how I wanted my cocker spaniel puppy cut -- not too close-shaven, definitely not too much taken off of the top, with specific emphasis placed on the latter. Something told me they were a little off when they didn't even have me fill anything out or give my contact information. When I insisted upon it, the guy at the front wrote my home phone # down, but didn't even bother taking down my name when I gave it to him. Then, when my husband went to pick Avon up, he was drastically shaved down and shivering. It was the exact OPPOSITE of what I'd instructed them to do. Obviously we refused to pay for the hatchet job, and they essentially called me a liar by claiming to my husband that I never gave them the instructions I did. Even while having me on speaker phone, they refused to admit their horrible mistake and severe lack of professionalism. We made such a fuss that within a couple more minutes they were begging us to just go ahead and leave, which we promptly did. I WOULD CAUTION ANYONE AGAINST USING THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY EVER EVER EVER AGAIN! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND CERTAINLY DON'T SUBJECT YOUR PRECIOUS LITTLE ONE TO THESE DESPICABLE PEOPLE. read more

I called to get a quote to get my dogs nails trimmed. I told the gentleman she was a boxer mix, about 70 pounds. He told me they only take small dogs then hung up on me, how rude! read more

I've sent my dogs here for several years. It was never amazing but it was somewhat affordable. However, as of late, they have been raising the price like crazy. On top of that, she hasn't been brushing my dogs' teeth very well, either. So not only has the price gone up, the service and quality has gone down. She tends to complain alot. My dogs are outdoor dogs and my family and I take them hiking time to time. We give them baths at home and make sure to apply flea medicine and try to keep them as clean as possible. Still, she complains about how big our dogs are and how dirty they are. Yes, outdoor dogs have fleas but we frequently give them flea baths and apply the medicine. We have since moved and have never felt better! I do not recommend this place. The cuts are horrible, sometimes she hurts our dogs while cutting, and she has horrible quality/customer service. Save your money and try somewhere else. read more

This is a really no frills groomer. It doesn't look particularly nice, but I'm not that picky. I have a terrier mix so she really doesn't require anything fancy. For the most part the "cut" she received was fine. But they charged $40 to give her a quick bath and a buzz. Her face trim was really uneven and it doesn't look like they touched her tail at all. The hygienic cut also wasn't the best. They did not blow dry her after the buzz so she is covered in loose hairs. It got all over the backseat of my car and I had to brush her when I got home. There should be no reason to groom your dog after you take her to the groomers. The worst part is that they put her up in a crate that was too small for her while she awaited pick up. They have an entire penned-in area and they decided to crate her. TLDR; the experience was too expensive for the service received. I won't be taking my dog back. read more

Disaster, called day before the place was closed after reading the reviews, agreed to wait, Husband Sam answer the phone and told me that they know how to groom Standard Poodle, the price will be $65, came early AM, suddenly the price went up to $85 when I asked why $85, they asked me if $75 is OK, I agreed to the price thinking that my poodle will be taken care of, needless to say My happy dog look very unhappy and try to run away, I was asked many questions about how to cut her hair, seems like they know what they are doing, little over an hour I received a phone call to pick our Poodle back she looked horrible just shaved all over no style , no grooming, my kids was very sad to see our loving dog Bruised, bleeding, just horrible experience. read more

When I first used this business, I had no problems. My little dog's haircut was fine me, but the owners told me my dog was very hyper and energetic, so it was difficult to trim his fur the way they wanted. I accepted that explanation and was just happy to see my dog's fur had been cut shorter. But when I called to make an appointment for another haircut, they told me that they wouldn't cut my dog's fur because he was too difficult. I was surprised because the owners had never told me to not come back again before. They should have told me that during my first visit. Therefore, to be told over the phone that my dog was not welcome anymore I thought was so unprofessional and rude. I think a good groomer should know how to handle dogs and at least give a dog a second chance. I had even told them I was okay with the first trimming. These are not signs of a patient and hard-working dog groomer. Being a teacher, I would never tell parents your child is too difficult so he/she should go to another teacher! Btw, they only take small dogs. Small dogs that behave -- I guess it makes their grooming a piece of cake! P.S. I found a new groomer for my 'difficult' dog. The new groomer never complained about Malcom and fell in love with him, and I made an appointment to bring Malcom back in a month! Yes, a good groomer should know how to groom all kinds of dogs. After all, dogs-- like human beings -- have different personalities and temperament. read more

Quick, friendly and my dogs do not mind visiting Sue and her husband. I rescued a Pomeranian named "Odin." He DOES NOT want to be picked up or handled by anyone. He bites feet, bit a hole in my friends expensive Italian leather shoes! Needless to say Sue know how to work with him. I trust her totally. She also has great advice on what to use to comb him.
