I want to preface by saying that my dog Spike is 10/10 the baddest pup when it comes to bath day. He's super anxious and will bite and growl the WHOLE time. This was my first time booking with Miquael and it is definitely not the last! When he arrived Spike was having his usual stranger danger fit but I was able to hand him off. Throughout the grooming session Miquael sent pictures and videos which put me at ease. And when he brought Spike out after his session he was unrecognizable!! (see his before and after pictures lol) Miquael was so compassionate, communicative, and professional throughout the whole process even before the grooming session. I cannot recommend booking with 88 Pet Spa enough ESPECIALLY if you have an anxious pup.

Mike has washed my dog Daisy two times and has done a great job. He has been the only groomer who really listens to what I what for her without him shaving her curly fur simply because it saves him time. He comes every 7 weeks or so now for us and Daisy seems to have taken a liking to him. Highly recommend. Thank you, Anita

The best groomer in LA! Our dog is 3 and he has only ever been groomed by 88 pet spa! They come right to your house super convenient & easy! They do the best job! Highly highly recommend!

They just gave my boy a great grooming! Atlas is a rescue and is skittish around new people. They took great care with him. I am very picky and extremely satisfied with the service and level of communication.

AMAZING 100 stars! Wow! Everything was great communication, service and friendly! I loved the service and so did my anxious dog. He was EXTREMELY matted and he was able to groom him very short cut but loved it. Definitely will refer to my friends and family

Miquael consistently gives our pups a great cut

Miquael is the best! We have 2 Pomeranians, one being very skiddish. He does a great job handling them. Every time he finished grooming them, I get so happy because they look amazing. Miquael is so kind and does a great job. We trust him with our dogs!

The perro is happy with the wash, clean ears, smells great and very nice company

The service was great, showed up on time, the owner, Mike, was very nice. My dog looks, smells and feels very clean and professionally done.

Mike did a superb job on my babies! I have an adult and a 5 month old Yorkies and they were matted and in desperately needed to be groomed. They looked amazing! Mike has my business from now on. Will recommend to family and friends for sure. Thank you Mike!

Jax, Finn & Cody looking spiffy thanks to 88 Pet Spa!

Mike did a super job on all three of our pups! They look adorable and smelled great! So convenient having him come to us as well. We highly recommend!

88 Pet Spa did a great job on my cat. He's older and has only been bathed by me and I could never quite get him the way I wanted. Michael did a wonderful job, he's so soft and looks like a new cat.

Been a customer of 88 Pet Spa for over a year. Excellent service from start to finish. Having 88 Pet Spa as a mobile pet groom is very convenient. Miquael arrives on time with a clean, well-equipped grooming van. He takes the time to understand my dog's needs, provided gentle handling, and delivered a fantastic haircut. The one-on-one attention kept my dog calm, and the results were exactly what I'd hoped for. Highly recommend this mobile grooming service for anyone looking for quality, convenience, and true care for their pets.

They are so kind and wonderful. It is pricey but definitely worth it. My dog is very skittish and anxious but the mobile groomer did amazing with him and he looked like such a distinguished gentlemen. I'm getting him groomed with them again soon!!

This was our first time using 88 Pet Spa, and it was also Pumbaa's very first grooming appointment! As a first-time puppy mom, I was definitely a little nervous about how he would do, but he did AMAZING! The groomer was so kind, patient, and gentle with him, and I really appreciated how comfortable they made him feel throughout the entire experience. Pumbaa came home looking absolutely adorable with his fresh teddy bear cut! We are so happy with how he turned out and couldn't have asked for a better first grooming experience. We will definitely be coming back for his future grooms! Highly recommend! read more

Michael was freaking amazing!! I've had her groomed by 3 other groomers and all 3 returned her halfway done because she kept bitting them. I even tried to do it myself and ended up cutting her ear off :( worst feeling ever. I'm so amazed and still can't believe he was able to handle Nala with great care. As soon as I picked her up she ran home and had the zoomies. It was the cutest thing ever. I wish I had a before and after picture. I swear she looked like a homeless dog. We were very pleased with the service. Our dog was dubious about going with the staff member but he was kind and took little videos to send to me so I could see his progression. Our dog came back smelling good and looking good. Trimmed nails and less itchy as they noticed his ear infection and gave him a treatment. Worth every penny! read more

I've been searching for a reasonable and reliable cat groomer for a while--it's surprisingly hard to find someone who doesn't charge an arm and a leg! I'm so glad I found 88 Pet Spa. The scheduling process was super easy and done entirely through text. They were flexible with availability, and a $50 deposit secured the appointment. Michael was my cat's groomer and he did a fantastic job--my cat looked great and special so good! He even added a cute little bandana. The whole process took about an hour. I am so grateful right now! My medium sized dog is an anxious rescue, and we have never had a groomer who was able to clip his nails, even when he was sedated. Mike showed up on time, was a wonderful calming presence, and got everything done. In the almost 7 years we've had our dog, he's never been this happy or looked this good after a grooming session. The price was very fair, and I was also pleased with how communicative they were before the appointment. read more

So happy I found Miquael the Groomer on Yelp. I made the appointment via his website. His assistant Scarleth was in constant communication with me about times and even rescheduling requests that was needed on both of our parts. Finally was able to get my dog groomed by one of his associates Taleah. She was lovely to work with and my dog really liked her. She was gentle with him and was done within the hour. Payment was easy, I was able to pay through Venmo or Zelle. My dog left smelling good and had a little pep in his step with his new bow tie they gave him. Will definitely book again. read more

Very bummed out because I had requested an appointment last Tuesday (through website) and did not receive any response until I texted/called him. I sent a text Friday, no response, I called Saturday and he texted saying he was busy to be on the phone. I did not get any reply until this afternoon (when I requested an appointment at 830am). I've heard great things about this person, but in order to have a good business, communication is a must. (Their website is not updated btw) All I wanted to know if it was confirmed or not and I did not get any response until 5 days later... Luckily I was able to find another place last minute. read more

BEWARE!!!! My dog suffered from an infection because the owner did not inform me about my dog's nail falling off during his grooming session. My dog came back shaking and hiding and I couldn't understand what was wrong. It wasn't until a few days later when we did get another thorough inspection on him that my husba noticed that he was missing a nail. When I contacted the groomer he told me that my dog's nail was already chipped when he got to him and that it fell off during the mobile grooming session because he was jumping around and running away from him. He said my dog bled so much and that he had to put powder on it to stop the bleeding. I asked him why he didn't think to tell me that my dog was bleeding and to simply let me know to keep an eye on his nail to prevent infection. Well too late because it did get infected and my dog suffered unnecessary pain for days. What baffles me the most is that when he texted me to let me know that my dog was ready to get picked up he took a long time to get out of the car I kept seeing that van shake and my mom made a comment about how it seemed as if he was chasing my dog. Would this not have been the perfect opportunity to tell me what happened? The owner of the groomig service did take full responsibility and paid for the vet bill but this is only after I confronted him and left my initial bad review. Of course I would expect him to pay as my dogs nail would have never gotten infected had he told me what happened. Now, I am being bombarded with text message asking me to take THIS review down and even got told that "us raza shouldn't treat each other like this". How laughable! My dog continues to shake every single time I take him outside. When he sees a van he will run as he thinks it's the mobile groomer! I adopted my dog from the shelter and was anxious because his owners were abusive and it took so long for him to get used to us and to takign walks. Now it's like we are starting from zero again. It sucks because I have only used this groomer twice. The first time, my dog's seemed to have really enjoyed it and my dog had come back so happy. But this second experience was just a nightmare. I can't imagine what would have happened if we had not noticed his nail gone. I wish I could take it back. Please don't come here!!!!!!!! read more

I wanted to simply address this to a manager via email to show photos, but their contact form on the site is impersonal and gives no email address and no opportunity to upload photos. On his last visit on Friday, my dog came home panting and not wagging his tail. I just thought he missed me, but it felt out of place, more like a "hyperventilation" type panting. I didn't think anything of it until the next day, as I was petting him, I felt bloody scabs across his head. Till today I find more that's hidden in his long fur. He doesn't bite or bark or squirm, so to have big gashes like this on multiple parts of his skin after a grooming is a red flag. I won't be sending him to Andy's anymore.
