Doodle Dude Grooming - Mini doodle looking like a teddy bear! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Tarzana, California

I never actually got my dog to be groomed at this place. The guy is just absolutely rude and obnoxious.. I left a message for him and he invited me to come or schedule something through the message.. however, when I Kim,, he was behaving in the most outrageous way. You didn't even open the door just leave me away and showed me his middle finger. I have done absolutely nothing to deserve it. Maybe it was the case that he was under pressure having too many dogs in his store. Whatever the reason was, there was no reason for him to behave in this fashion. I later sent him a message indicating that if this is way of behavior then just., FU. He responded with a wrong message explaining to me that he is a celebrity and he has a lawyer that consume me because of what I said. Celebrity can you believe that? Celebrity groomer. Whether or not he is a celebrity. I don't deserve his behavior and we never go there. I felt obligated to put this evaluation on record not as a revenge, but to let people know who they might be facing. Given that he has many good reviews it might be that is just the case of a man with polar type of behavior. I told him that I will put this review on the web. His response was that I am just insane. That he doesn't care whether I'm gonna put it anywhere because it makes me look insane. He also mentioned that he has so many customers he doesn't need me or anybody else. Well., I said already a celebrity. Maybe he is. I never heard his name nor do I think that even if you were celebrity is entitled to behaving in this fashion. read more

If there were a million stars Doodle Dude would get them! I have been in dog rescue since 2008 and Andrew is the best. The decor of his place is open and inviting. I found him on Yelp, which has taken Yelp to a whole new level in my eyes! :) My Teddy Pancake is a Bichon, poodle mix and he looks so amazingly cute now. Andrew didn't have much to work with since I did not take Teddy to a groomer 5 months. Now that Teddy and I found Andrew, DoodleDude, we will be getting Teddy groomed every 6 weeks. I know my TeddyPancake is in excellent hands now. It's a great feeling to trust where you leave your fur baby. Doodle Dude is the best! read more

Well we've tried the Doodle Dude twice and we will not be returning for a third time. At each visit the owner greeted us with a rude attitude and questioned the validity of our appointments to then only acknowledge them after shown proof. The first cut was so so but the second is the worst we've ever seen, the pictures speak for themselves. read more

We had a great experience. Our dog has never looked cuter. We will be back and highly recommend

I found Andrew after the groomer I had been using closed their doors. He quoted me the same reasonable price I had been paying at the other place, which I wasn't finding anywhere else I tried. My guy got his first bath/cut yesterday and he looks fantastic. Andrew asked me several questions beforehand to make sure we were on the same page with regard to how I wanted the cut done. He's passionate about dogs and treats them well. I'm so glad to have found Doodle Dude Grooming. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but one thing that truly made me really upset was the fact that the owner disrespected my parents. He started disrespecting my parents just because they said they weren't happy with my dog's haircut. Just because my mom and dad said they were disappointed with how my dog ended up looking, the owner became SUPER defensive and went off by disrespecting my family. He looked me straight in the eye and told me, "Tell your dad I said to go f**ck himself". I'm sorry, but what kind of business owner would say something like that to someone's face!!! Truly disrespectful! Won't be coming back here because of that main reason. I don't tolerate disrespect, especially towards my parents. read more

WOW! Absolutely love Doodle Dude pet grooming! The design, decor & overall aesthetic of the shop provide a tranquil vibe for pets and their people! Truly a unique and pleasant experience as soon as you walk thru the door. We took our 1yr. old Golden Doodle, "Tully" here today for her first professional grooming appointment. Andrew and his adorable doodle "Ruby" made us feel welcome and set the tone for us to feel at ease leaving our girl for her grooming session. Andrew has a creative talent & eye for the final result and style of grooming. Tully was super matted & in need of a lot of time and attention. The end result was amazing!!! Andrew managed to give Tully a style that is adorable while also being so much better for her health and well being! We truly could not be happier! We live about 45 min. to an hour away (depending on traffic) and will continue to make the trip for all of Tully's grooming needs in the future. Doodle Dude is soooo worth it! Thank you, Andrew for taking such wonderful care of Tully and making her look so cute! We appreciate it so very much! read more

Concerned for my dogs safety after my experience at doodle dudes. The owners dog launched at us when we walked in aggressively. The owner of this shop also left a dog unattended in the bath tub while checking me out and the dog flipped out of the bath. I was pretty traumatized. The poor pup. I won't be back. read more

FINALLY this is a groomer who understands the specialized needs of poodles and doodles coats and how to properly groom them! I found Andrew when he was working at another grooming salon in the Valley and I was so excited to discover he's opening his own salon not far from my house! I have an elderly standard poodle who hates being groomed but Andrew is so gentle with him that he is able to do a great job and my poodle never looked better! I also have a Newfoundland poodle mix with a coat that gets easily matted, and Andrew is the only groomer I have found who takes the extra time to remove any mats instead of just shaving my dog! She comes out with a soft and fluffy coat and her tail wagging! I'm so excited I found Andrew again- he is a doodle grooming expert! read more

Andrew is an AMAZING groomer. My doodle was really matted and he took care of him. We trimmed him and was very in tune to his anxiousness and took his time to shave him down, and let him air dry. My wife and I just moved to the area and were looking for a groomer for our 2 year old labradoodle Appa. I chose Doodle Dude based on the great reviews and was not disappointed! Andrew is not just a groomer- He's an artist. Hands down the best groomer for my doodles

Andrew is not just groomer, he's a true artist. We have two labradoodles he has been grooming for a few years and he makes them look incredible every time. They actually love being with him. Horrible horrible horrible experience. I feel terrible about recommending this groomer to my sister for her pup! I found the doodle dude through another friend and it looked like a great place on Yelp when my sister was looking for a groomer. She took the pup one time and Everything was fine. However the next time she took the pup, apparently the pup had matting on the hair and it needed to be shaved off the ears which is understandable given the circumstances. The business owner didn't call my sister to let her know that he will be shaving the dogs ears and I think any dog owner would appreciate knowing in advance. Upon being shocked when she went to pick the dog up, she kindly asked the owner why he didn't let her know or anything and he started being super defensive and ended up making her cry. She's a young woman. Also, told our parents to go F themselves just because they didn't like the haircut. I REGRET referring this business. Never again. read more

EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING care & service. We have been looking for a groomer for our 4yrs labradoodle for a long time. He was shaved and traumatized during previous grooming experiences and despite our efforts to find someone to help no one would want to take him in. After one appointment or during an appointment we were told the can not come back. We did our best to do it ourselves but we knew we need help Then we were referred to Andrew "the toddle dude" for real. For our 1st call I since that not only understood the situation but he showed care and compassion. He said that he will take him in and he did. Not only that he was patient, extra patient with our dog L'Bear but he took his time to help him over come his fears and anxiety. Thanks Andrew for really caring for our dogs the way we do. We cannot recommend you enough. What you did for L'Bear deserves 7 stars not 5. Our dog now not only enjoys the grooming process but loves spending time there. He has a great bond with Andrew. Thank yoilu for caring and for making L'Bear extra good looking! :) read more
