Andrew is an amazingly skillful groomer and always does a fantastic job with my 2 standard poodles. One of my dogs was hit by a car years ago and has trouble standing for long periods of time, and Andrew is gentle on him and gives him breaks. My other dog is nervous and difficult to groom and Andrew always figures out how to handle her with patience and she comes out looking perfect. Andrew is always accommodating with appointment requests. I couldn't recommend him more! read more

I hardly ever write reviews but one thing that truly made me really upset was the fact that the owner disrespected my parents. He started disrespecting my parents just because they said they weren't happy with my dog's haircut. Just because my mom and dad said they were disappointed with how my dog ended up looking, the owner became SUPER defensive and went off by disrespecting my family. He looked me straight in the eye and told me, "Tell your dad I said to go f**ck himself". I'm sorry, but what kind of business owner would say something like that to someone's face!!! FINALLY this is a groomer who understands the specialized needs of poodles and doodles coats and how to properly groom them! I found Andrew when he was working at another grooming salon in the Valley and I was so excited to discover he's opening his own salon not far from my house! I have an elderly standard poodle who hates being groomed but Andrew is so gentle with him that he is able to do a great job and my poodle never looked better! I also have a Newfoundland poodle mix with a coat that gets easily matted, and Andrew is the only groomer I have found who takes the extra time to remove any mats instead of just shaving my dog! Horrible horrible horrible experience. I feel terrible about recommending this groomer to my sister for her pup! I found the doodle dude through another friend and it looked like a great place on Yelp when my sister was looking for a groomer. She took the pup one time and Everything was fine. However the next time she took the pup, apparently the pup had matting on the hair and it needed to be shaved off the ears which is understandable given the circumstances. The business owner didn't call my sister to let her know that he will be shaving the dogs ears and I think any dog owner would appreciate knowing in advance. Upon being shocked when she went to pick the dog up, she kindly asked the owner why he didn't let her know or anything and he started being super defensive and ended up making her cry. She's a young woman. Also, told our parents to go F themselves just because they didn't like the haircut. I REGRET referring this business. Never again. read more

EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING care & service. We have been looking for a groomer for our 4yrs labradoodle for a long time. He was shaved and traumatized during previous grooming experiences and despite our efforts to find someone to help no one would want to take him in. After one appointment or during an appointment we were told the can not come back. We did our best to do it ourselves but we knew we need help Then we were referred to Andrew "the toddle dude" for real. For our 1st call I since that not only understood the situation but he showed care and compassion. He said that he will take him in and he did. Not only that he was patient, extra patient with our dog L'Bear but he took his time to help him over come his fears and anxiety. Thanks Andrew for really caring for our dogs the way we do. We cannot recommend you enough. What you did for L'Bear deserves 7 stars not 5. Our dog now not only enjoys the grooming process but loves spending time there. He has a great bond with Andrew.
