I've had other places make me leave him all day. I'm glad the process was quick and my dog was happy too. One of the best places to bring your doggies especially if you have a Pomeranian. 10/10 recommend these friendly folks as they really Know what they are doing, do not trim my Pomeranian to maintain her healthy coat and honestly she smells amazing! There are not enough stars in the Universe for the folks at Waggin Tails! They are absolutely the most caring and wonderful group of people. I took my 14 year old female GSD there and they made special arrangements to get her in and out quickly so less stress on her and despite the fact that she pooped all over the place, they are still willing to have her back again. We have been taking our energetic doodle to Waggin Tails for over two years and they always do a great job. The owner is very professional and has given us valuable advice about some of the ailments my dog suffers from (ear irritations, skin growths) . The ladies are really gentle with our dog since he hates being groomed. Our dog always comes back looking trimmed and clean. The parking is easy and the rates are reasonable. My wife is extremely detailed and particular on what she wants our little Yorkie to look like. We asked for her to be combed out and trimmed and she came back completely shaved. We were told she was matted and that could not be the case as my wife stayed up for an hour the night before combing her out and playing with her paws and (we too like another unhappy reviewer) were told that she had been acting up when she was being groomed and they needed two people to groom her ( she is all of six pounds). When I went in I was told, no screamed at by the owner that this is what my wife wanted and I know that was not the case. I do not care that things go wrong but to be yelled at by a place that is suppose to be giving you service is ridiculous. I then had my wife follow up as I was pissed at them more for treating me badly then making a mistake with our puppy. When my wife tried to discuss the matter she was met with the same belligerent and hostile attitude. If this is how they treat people i can only imagine what they do with the dogs when no one is there. There are lots of choices for dog grooming and this should not be one of them. PASS! read more

This was my second time taking my dog here after being referred by my sister that had used it once before. It's a bit hidden with no sign on the wall and shares the space with a locksmith. They have a very pet friendly environment with the doggy day care going on. BTW they had the biggest golden doodle I've ever seen greeting people up at the front. He was just a big friendly teddy bear. I had called a week ago, early afternoon to see if it was possible to come in as a walk in. I have an extremely busy schedule and wanted to take advantage of this dead time I had. Before the nice young lady that picked up the phone could place me on hold to find out, I heard someone in an irratated tone yelling in the back to not take anymore dogs. I thought to myself, rude, but hey she's probably swamped and having a bad day. I completely understand. So I scheduled an appointment on my next day off. Now to the grooming experience I had. My dog is a shy chihuauha/pomeranian mix. He's great with people and kids, but iffy around multiple dogs. I asked for the legs to be trimmed, the stomach area and the butt. I went to pick him up an 1hr 1/2 after dropping him off. Loved that it was super quick. He looked handsome in his bandana they put on him, but I noticed that the front legs weren't trimmed. I brought it to the young ladies attention and she fixed it right away. When I got home I noticed the back side is uneven. One side is wayyy shorter than the other. I completely understand if my dog squirmed and maybe too much was cut off but I would've preferred the problem being taken care of before I noticed. I was going to fix it myself, but my mom was real persistant on taking him back to the groomer so I did. I called and she was really nice, told me she was by herself and so it was hard to trim him there but in 10min someone else would be there to help hold him while she cut. I even told her that I understood bc my dog is shy about his backside and sits down. I get there, I'm even a little embarrassed bc I'm not a complainer and I didn't want them to take it personal. The first thing the owner tells me in what sounded like a defensive tone, is that my dog was being difficult and that he's a biter. I appologized for it. She suggested putting a muzzle on him in order to avoid any incidents while at the groomer. I'm all for them protecting themselves, but was thrown off by my dog being a biter. He's never bit or attacked anyone before. I've never even heard him growl aggressively or show teeth towards someone. Plus I thought the young lady was by herself. It even crossed my mind that maybe the young lady screwed up and covered her ass by saying that my dog was a biter. So they cleaned him up and told me it's not perfect, if I wasn't happy to let her know, but by that point it was just awkward. I just thanked them and left. I felt like she got really defensive. All in all, I don't think I'll be using this groomer anymore. Loved that they had dogs everywhere, but maybe its not the right place for my doggy and I. read more

I have been taking my dogs to Waggin' Tails for about 6 years. They always come home looking and smelling beautiful! Most importantly, Kathie and her staff LOVE dogs and they treat them so wonderfully. We recently had to put one of our dogs to sleep and Kathie was so helpful and also sad at the loss of our Cooper. She seems to love all of the dogs that come to her. I have never had to worry about my dogs when they are in Kathie's care. They are always happy to come and see her...not always the case with my dog Simon who had his tail between his legs after his second visit to another groomer. I have been bringing my two dogs to Waggin Tails for more than five years. Although I've tried a couple other places over the same period of time, I always come back to Kathy (only groomer at Waggin Tails) because she is the best. She really loves dogs, gives great hair cuts, and my dogs love her. The ONLY reason I've tried other places nearby is because usually you cannot get a same day appt, or even a next day appt, which is difficult for a working mom. With a little planning, my dogs only go to Waggin Tails. If it were not for the scheduling issue, this place would get five stars. (My dogs use to go to doggie day care there before I had my kids, and the doggie day care was great and affordable.) This is not a luxurious "posh" puppy kind of place. If that's what you are looking for, you are at the wrong place. However, it is kept very clean, organized, and safe for doggies. Most importantly, its run by Kathy, a real dog lover who knows how to groom dogs right everytime. My Shih Tzu is easy to groom. She's a loving easy-going dog. Her short "puppy" cut always looks great. My Lhasa Apso is another story entirely. He is a biter, hates his face touched, and is a strong 30 lb. boy who knows how to throw his weight around. Kathy handles him with ease, has developed a relationship with him, and can trim his face perfectly at each grooming. Kathy truly knows how to communicate with the dogs and gets them to trust her. If it weren't for Kathy, my lhasa would be a mess of dog. We are lucky to have her. Waggin Tails (Kathy) will be our groomer for a long long time. read more

I've been coming here for more than 10 years, Kathie use to do s great job, but lately not only she has a nasty attitude & complains why her business is heading to the wrong direction, but the hair cuts are not only bad but my poor dogs have Nicks & Cuts al over to a point I had to take one of them to the vet.
