Paula is AMAZING. What a relief to find someone I can trust to take care of my cat when I leave town. I was so picky and nervous about the whole process since I never used a petsitter before her... I have a senior domestic shorthair (13 years old), and I was pretty worried about leaving town for the holidays because of her age and I have never left her alone for a long period of time before. Paula sends photo updates during her visits, and spends time with the animal(s). She is also very easy to reach and makes sure everything is properly taken care of before you leave town. When we had a week long trip ahead, my husband and I decided to look for a cat sitter. I found Rockin' Dogs through Yelp, and they were wonderful. First Paula came out to meet our cat Harley, and I showed her where her food, toys and litter box were. Harley hid during this, but I made sure to let Paula know what her favorite toys were and that she loved to be brushed. While on our trip, we were happy to see that Harley did not stay hidden. After Paula visits your pet, she sends a status email which gives details from the visit and includes adorable photos. We got to see our cat comfortable and happily being brushed. We went on to use Paula and Brian for many trips, and always enjoyed receiving their photos and updates. I wanted to mention that we used Rockin' Dogs again a couple of months ago. This time Paula came out to see Gemma and she was again great. Paula would come to our place to have her lunch so that Gemma would get used to her before it was time to put her on the leash and take her out. I called earlier this week after seeing positive reviews on Yelp about Rockin Dogs. Paula was great about scheduling us for our initial dog acquaintance interview with the goal of allowing us to board our beagle for two nights this weekend. I knew it was last minute that I was calling to check availability and I was pleasantly surprised they'd have availability on short notice. We ended up having several issues on our end to work around, one being the immediate need for a new vehicle and the other being a sick child. We called Paula more than once, first having to drop one night of boarding, then to push back the time we would be dropping off our dog for boarding, and finally, dropping the second night of boarding, because we wouldn't be leaving town as planned after all. Each time she was very kind and accommodating by phone. I can only give 4 stars because we haven't used the boarding services of Rockin Dogs, but Paula didn't even make a penny off of us yet and she put in the work to meet us, our dog, and to kindly accommodate our changing plans. We'll be happy to use Rockin Dogs the next time we need to leave town. From our initial interactions, they have earned our business. read more

This review is a long time coming! I had Paula and Brian walk my dog, Chance, for a few months when I was living in North Hollywood. Not only were they friendly and professional, but from day one, they ensured my comfort by keeping constant communication, sending photos of Chance every day after a walk (he looked so happy!!) and leaving him with fresh water and treats. They even set up a meet and greet before we did our first walk so that Chance could get comfortable with them. As they are a privately owned business and not some sort of corporate company that will walk 15 dogs at a time, you are certain to get individual attention for your pup. Even more accommodating, Brian and Paula let you pay with cash, check, or even pay pal. They're very easy going relieve the stress of leaving your pup home alone all day by ensuring a safe, and nurturing visit. Last but not least, you can't beat their prices. They're better than almost every other place I looked! I've never taken advantage of their over night stays but they'd be my first call if I ever needed to! Call these guys for your animals! When I was getting ready to move out of the Valley, my first thought was "No! We'll be out of Paula's territory!" Paula/Rockin Dogs has been watching our 3 cats during ever vacation/trip we've taken over the past 2 years. She has helped us out in several last minute pickles, and is always responsive if I text or email a question or request. I love receiving the pictures of the "kids" they send after each visit, and it's clear the cats are very happy and comfortable with them. I used their dog walking services and it was awesome. Brian came over almost everyday for a week for an hour. He followed allmof my instructions, took the dogs for a walk, played with them and gave them lots of attention. He cleaned up their kennel and texted me if there were issues. Also, he sent daily updates via email with pictures. I thought that was pretty cool. Overall they gave me great service and I look forward to using them again. She came to my home to meet my dogs, and took her time to try and make our skittish dog feel comfortable (and it worked as our dog was letting her give treats and pet her by the time she left!) she also went on a short walk outside with me after she met all of us, which let the dogs know they were in good hands. When I left for my weekend vacation I was a little sad and nervous to leave the dogs, but so comforted when that night Paula sent me pictures and a text message of our dogs! Rockin Dogs is wonderful! Paula has been walking my 3 year old shih tzu for 8 months now and he LOVES her. I have been home with him on week days and observed how he waits by the door for her when it gets close to his normal walk time. Paula is amazing!!!! I have been using her for several months and I have never had such a great experience with any other pet sitter. She provides dog walking services for myself and my two welsh corgis while I am at work during the week. Every day that she sees my dogs (whom ADORE her!) she sends me a detailed email of their walk with photos of my dogs, as well as a map of their walk route. I really feel that my dogs get the same care from her as they would from myself; she really has a natural way with animals and always notices little differences in their behavior (like if they seem tired, didn't eat or just weren't their normal selves) and will include that in her email. Aside from her fantastic work with my dogs, she is very sweet, professional and courteous. If she sees a package on your doorstep she will bring it in, or if I am running low on dog food or poop bags, she will include that in her email as well. I was in desperate need for a dog walker for a few weeks as I was working crazy long production hours. I am borderline insane when it comes to my little monkey so I needed to trust someone to take care of my sweetie. And along came Paula!! She came to my place to meet my little deaf dog and they hit it off instantly. It can be nerve wracking to leave your pet in the care of strangers, but Paula and Brian are truly great! They came over to meet our kitty a week before our first trip. At first Zeus was a brat and hissed at Brian. I was a little nervous about that, but Zeus has gotten over his initial reaction and him and Brian are like BFFs now. They send daily emails with pictures of your fur baby and a little update, and in every picture Zeus looks so stinking happy and relaxed its like he doesn't even want us to come back! Lol! On our first trip away, Zeus broke into his giant food bag and made a mess, but Paula and Brian cleaned it all up and emailed me to let me know what happened.
