BUT TODAY?? She came home looking shiny, smelling expensive, and acting like she just left a spa day in Beverly Hills. I swear she had a little extra strut in her walk like, "Don't talk to me, I'm freshly bathed." Whoever handled her is a dog whisperer because my girl usually acts like she's being personally attacked by shampoo. Not this time. She was CHILL. I initially overlooked the owner's abrasive attitude and my dog's apparent fear of the place, despite his claims that my dog was aggressive. However, after trying other groomers and consistently receiving glowing feedback about my dog's sweet behavior, it became clear that this wasn't the right fit. At other places, my dog is calm and content. One instance that sealed my decision was when I got a call, 30 minutes after picking up my dog, saying he was ready for pickup. When I mentioned that I had already taken him home, there was no apology... just "ok" before hanging up. Like excuse me? No sense of security here. While the grooming here is acceptable, there are definitely better options out there with superior service and kinder handling.

Josh explained that if our dog was matted she would be shaved. In this instance unfortunately he tried to brush her but she didnt allow him so he did let me know she would be shaved.
