I highly recommend this place and happy with how my two fur kids look afterwards. I had an apt at 8am and by 10:15am, they were ready for pickup. Vida pet grooming is the only grooming salon I will trust with Chico's vida (life) :) You can tell this is not a job but their passion. They are so sweet and loving not to just towards Chico but towards all their furry clients. They expanded their location and now offer day care and boarding services at affordable prices. Chico is 16, and quite picky but he always leaves his grooming self care appointments with a smile.

My frenchie has permanent damage to his eye

It took me a while to write this review. I used to bring my three dogs here until I had a bad experience were it left my frenchie blind from one eye. I took my three dogs to get groom like a normal day. I got called to pick them up and my boyfriend picked up the dogs and brought them home. My frenchie could hardly open one eye. I rinsed it because I thought something had gotten into his eye. The weekend went by and his eye kept getting worse. To the point he couldn't open it. A few weeks have gone by and they claim it was shampoo that had gotten into his eye. Shampoo can't cause that much damage. Please beware in which conditions you pick up your baby. Now he has permanent damage to his eye. Poor baby this wasn't ok.

It's been 4 years and this is still the only groomer I trust with our dogs! We now have a yorkie terrier mix, a cocker spaniel mix and a King Charles cavalier and they all get groomed here. They come out looking beautiful! Sometimes when I go to pick up my yorkie mix I might want the face a little shorter than how they left her and they're happy to fix her right then and there. They're also so nice to all our dogs, they talk to them and make them feel loved. Vida also expanded so I'm happy that the dogs have a little more space to lay out in their little play pens if I'm running behind on picking them up.

Vida Pet Grooming is a solid professionally run business. They care deeply for our babies, and I cannot be more grateful for them. Took me a while to find a place that felt safe for my 2 babies. My girl specially! She needed time and patience, which I did not find elsewhere. Vida and her team took it slowly and they worked with my princess at her own pace. Alright so never bring your pup here especially around summer time. They're all screaming and stuff. My dog came to get bathed and his nails trimmed and when I went to go pick him up he was gasping for air. He was very dehydrated and everything. It was so bad. It was the worst noise I've ever heard come from my dog. He literally couldn't breathe. When I got home he was crying and screaming. Once I let him inside he literally couldn't breathe. He would lay down on his side like if he was gonna pass out. I had to forcefully give him water since he just couldn't anymore. I also had to cool him down or else he'd get worse. Eventually he did calm down because I made sure to cool him down and give him some water. He was put in a severe emergency. I don't know how they could let him get severely dehydrated. I really don't recommend going here. Make sure you always do your research before taking your pet anywhere!!!!! read more

I have been bringing Harlee to Vida Pet Grooming for several months and I absolutely love everything about Vida Pet Grooming. It was recommended by my Vet and Im so happy I took the recommendation. I love that its a Latina owned business, the owner also is one of the groomers and all her groomers are very sweet and gentle with the dogs. Harlee always comes back to me super excited and happy to see me and thats a good sign to me. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable and their location has ample parking and the grooming store always has a clean, delicious fresh out of a bath, blow dried and perfumed smoochable puppy smell . They killed my dog I came with my golden retriever for a shower 30 minutes after they called me and telling me he died They don't want to tell me what happened Even though they have cameras all over the place, they still don't reveal their cameras. They gave us some excuse that they cannot download. They are avoiding us. This is really not what do you expect when you leave your baby in their hands The whole family is in trauma and they don't even respond Beware !!!! read more

Vida is great. They can custom Groom your pet and or give your pet a summer cut if you like. We take our miniature schnauser there for grooming. He enjoys going there because they treat him well. This time he got a summer cut. They're pleasant to work with and prompt. read more

A++ 10/10, amazing service simple as that! It was my pups first time at a groomer so I was scared how she would react. Thankfully she loved it so much so when I arrived she was as calm as can be. Keep in mind my pup is a golden doodle 35 lbs, medium sized. Her hair was perfection. The right amount of lengthen on her body with a precise teddy bear cut for her face. Her paws, ears, legs, and belly were a crisp clean cut. She coat smelled so good omg! After a week she still smells clean! My whole family was impressed with how cute they made her look. I went to Vida pet grooming for the first time when I walked in they just asked for dogs name and took him which is better for me and my dog got a full 55$ package which is good price when I came back to pick him up my dog looked so cute my dog doesn't like his nails getting cut at all but vida still managed to cut them with no cuts on his paws but my dog did have some knots on his stomach and she got them out but 2 little red scratches which I understand but other then that my dog smelled good has a cute cut,nails done and honestly I will be taking him back for the price and the nice service read more

We love Vida, we've been going to her even before she decided to expand and get the building. We've always brought our 4 dogs to her whenever they needed grooming, nail trimming, or to go to puppy day care while we were away. To this day we bring our only dog, Max, to her. Every time we leave him with them we are always satisfied with the results, Max comes home smelling good, with a fresh cut and trim, and happy. The times we have left our dogs with Vida for day care or overnight things she always takes care of them, if asked she even sends pictures sometimes when we ask how they are doing. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog read more

I have been taking Malcom and Kobe here for...the last year or so. I love the way they come back to me --clean, well-groomed and happy. My little Malcom is very hyper and one previous dog groomer didn't want him back because he was difficult to handle. Then I found Vida, who truly love dogs. She never once complained about Malcom, though I'm sure he still gets excitable. Once Vida even found my lost doggie Kobe on her phone app! Thanks to Vida, I don't have to worry when my dogs need grooming. She always tries her best to find a convenient time for me to groom my fur babies. The folks at Vida Pet Grooming are very professional and polite. They know how to handle animals. I took 4 of my 5 cats in for nail clips today for the first time, and I was more than satisfied with the service provided. The groomer was meticulous and methodical, as she clipped each and every nail (including dew claws) on all the cats. The cats were quite comfortable there, because the groomers are experienced, competent, and clearly in charge -- at ease handling animals. Nothing rattles pets more than being handled by people who lack confidence in what they do. Inky, my black cat, was a little reluctant at first, but the groomer placed a small cone mask over his head, which seemed to completely calm him down. I have never seen this tool used by any of the groomers I have used in the past. I was very impressed! I heartily recommend Vida Pet Groomers for all your pet grooming needs. There is nothing happier than a well-groomed pet. read more

Super sweet. She took me last minute for a rescue we have and she was in bad shape. She didn't upcharge me for the extra work she had to do and our pup came back with a perfect cut and shiny white coat. It's great to support local small business, especially when they do such great quality work. Big love and respect for Vida Pet Grooming. read more

Wow!!! I will definitely coming back to Vida again. She did amazing turning my clumpy/shedding 80 lb German Shepherd to a well groomed and clean girl! It was my first time getting her groomed and I had to prepare her for the summer heat as she was blowing her coat everyday. So I decided to finally get her groomed and wow what a difference it made. She'll be a lot cooler now and more comfortable in this California heat. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for my 80 lb girl and she took my dog in right away when I got in for my appointment. She also asks for vaccine records so I know it's clean and safe. Very friendly owner and worked so quickly!! Can't say enough good words! read more

I have been looking for a groomer for my two Yorkies for the past two months I am new to the area and everyone I have contacted have been telling me between $80-$100 per dog I contacted Vita's Pet Grooming and she told me about $45 for each dog and I couldn't believe it I am so glad I took my dogs and they look amazing I will be returning to her every five weeks for my dogs to get groomed with her amazing amazing amazing work I love the way my dogs look!!! I would recommend this groomer any day so if you have a dog take them there and she was able to get me in with him one day notice!! VERY HAPPY MOM HERE read more

On his last visit on Friday, my dog came home panting and not wagging his tail. I just thought he missed me, but it felt out of place, more like a "hyperventilation" type panting. I didn't think anything of it until the next day, as I was petting him, I felt bloody scabs across his head. Till today I find more that's hidden in his long fur. I'm super sad because Andy's has done a great job with his de-shedding, and I know it's no easy task with his fur. But, he is the mildest-mannered service animal for kids with autism. He doesn't bite or bark or squirm, so to have big gashes like this on multiple parts of his skin after a grooming is a red flag. I won't be sending him to Andy's anymore. Very sad about it, but this isn't how you treat a dog or long-time customer. You disclose the cuts and address how to help treat them.

WARNING - DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE I'm writing this with a shattered heart and a pain no pet owner should ever have to feel. We took our beloved dog -- a healthy, joyful part of our family for over ten years -- to this grooming place, and he never made it back home alive. During the appointment, he was apparently handled with severe aggression. We received a cold, emotionless call telling us to "come pick him up" and take him to the vet immediately -- no explanation, no urgency in their voice, just an icy dismissal. By the time we got there, he was already lifeless. Still, we rushed him to the vet -- desperate to understand what happened. The veterinarian confirmed that our dog had likely died from cardiac arrest or severe trauma experienced during the grooming session. We begged to see the security camera footage to know what was done to him. They refused to show us anything. We asked for answers. They gave us none. No apology. No explanation. No empathy. We also found out they don't even carry insurance -- a complete lack of responsibility for the lives they handle. This was not "just a dog." This was a soul. A best friend. A family member we loved and raised for a decade. And now he's gone -- because of them. If you care about your pet's safety, if your animal means anything to you -- PLEASE stay away from this grooming facility. read more

We receive compliments on our Golden Doodle's haircut every time we're out! Vida & her staff are professional, kind, patient, consistent & care for each animal they encounter! I have been going to Vida's pet grooming service for two years now. Out of the three grooming services I have used, they have been the best. Always available when I need them. My dogs are always excited to visit the location. All of their service providers are professional and friendly. The pricing is extremely reasonable. Especially, for someone with multiple dogs. I brought my 80lb German Shepherd to Vida. the shop was super clean and the staff were very welcoming. My doggo walked in happy to see the staff, never meeting them before.
