I have never ever in my 48 years of life been treated so disrespectful. It was my first time renting there or anywhere. If she would have came at me politely and was like "hey I don't know if you might have missed this in the fine print in the policy but you can't be doing that", things would have been fine but I asked her why she had to be so rude and disrespectful to us. I asked her why she couldn't come talk to us like human beings not like animals. And because I confronted her about the way she was treating us they left a note on our door that we have to be out. People like that should not be working in customer service at all because you don't talk down to people like they're inhuman and like their children disrespecting you or what not. I'm sorry if your children do disrespect you, you don't have to be treating other human beings like that. I work in customer service and I can never ever understand how somebody can treat another human being the way she treated us.

Normally this could be easily done in person, but Denver is currently under shelter-at-home orders. But that doesn't stop Fil, the manager here, from delivering top notch customer service. He explained the steps over the phone, sent me clear email instructions with all the details I needed to access the unit, and made it easy for me to finish the process in time to get everything moved early the next day. I'm very impressed by his level of support and ensuring I had everything I needed, he was just so incredibly helpful and I'm really glad we have our storage here!

Less than 2 months after I began renting I was informed that the price would be raised to $138/month, an increase of 40%. I asked them what could've possibly changed in 6.5 weeks to justify an increase of 40% and they couldn't said that every now a d then they perform a "unit audit" and determined that this is just the price now. Makes me think that $99/month was just a teaser rate to win my business before they jack the price to what they actually want to charge, because how on earth could a $99 rate be fair 2 months ago, but suddenly be so out-of-line that they need a 40% increase. I asked for it to be lowered cause it was in bad taste to refuse to honor their quote in such a short time period. They refused. I left a review here to inform others and suddenly they realized that maybe they shouldn't jack their prices by that much so quickly and returned my rate to $99/month. They asked me to "help them out with some reviews left online." Since they returned my rate I agreed and deleted the review. It's now 5 weeks later and they have once again jacked my rate, this time by a smaller amount, only to $109 (10% increase). A 10% increase is still pretty unreasonable seeing as it's only been just over 3 months since I first became a customer. Given the context they gave me with the "unit audit" to justify their rate increase, the fact that this increase is significantly lower tells me that this time around it wasn't some BS methodology, but a conscious decision to push the price the price closer to what they really want but in a manner someone will grudgingly allow. In other words, their methodology for determining the rate increase isn't actually from a unit audit, but rather is just "whatever this customer will let slide." Poor business practices. Honor your quoted prices. If you want to charge more, quote more. And if you need to increase the rate, think about how reasonable the increase is given the amount of time that has passed.

Long story short, Bennett Mini Storage went out of their way to get all of the items reserved brought to their location so we didn't drive all over CO picking them up. When picking up the truck, etc., Bennett Mini Storage was friendly, courteous and professional. My dealings with him were criminal.... He raised my rent without giving me any notice, and he was basically trying to extort money from me. When I tried to move out before the end of the month, he actually tried to prevent me from removing my things and threatened to have me arrested ‼. finally, I said let's get the police here... we are on the video camera. I called the corporate office and I complained about him and this was probably six months ago. They did nothing. It's a good idea to read reviews carefully. Ask how long the manager has been there. Ask how long the company has owned the place. They have to give you so much notice to raise the rent and it has to be at least a month prior to raising it and it might be 60 days, if you don't like the raise, you can move out and move someplace else. But this manager was trying to charge me almost twice as much as what other places were charging. It was a horrible experience and it was a terrible waste of money. But the worst thing was that he tried to prevent me from moving my stuff out, even though I paid for the unit. So what you read about this place at 50 S. Havana is true unless they've changed but if you have a manager there that... his first name starts with a T do not stay there do not move your things there; you will regret it if I could give it zero stars I would, but unfortunately, I can't so I give it the lowest rating possible they had multiple break-ins there and my unit was broken into and most of what was viable was stolen all that they didn't fix the door.
