This particular store however, clean- bright- smells good and pro staff that are smart, fast and friendly. Makes the shopping experience a 10! I'm thrilled I can find everything I need in one place. I'm a loyal customer now. Have 4 picky diva cats, one happy red heeler pup- they sell all quality food for tight budgets all the way to top shelf needs. I'm not sure if they have prescription diet though, maybe call before. Prices are competitive if not sometimes a tad bit more but they offer a punch card. Honestly, even if they didn't offer that, I'd gladly pay the small difference to shop where you feel they care about your experience and time. Thank you MPM for giving me a place to go and get away from ..... :) Side note: The location is a bit of a puzzle at first for entry and depart. On a fast street with blind corner, once you figure it out though, it's not an issue.

This place has everything you could ever need for a pet and surprisingly they have more things than your big pet supply stores and at the same prices too. I was kind of meandering around and someone asked me if I needed anything and we got to talking about my cat that wouldn't drink water and for the last three years I've talked to everybody about it and I've never been able to get her to drink water, she was a feral cat, most of her life. he commented that I should add some water to her dry food when I mentioned that it's so expensive for me at the moment to buy wet food as well as dry food. since I had been discussing the issue on and off for the past few years with other cat owners, I took the advice with a grain of salt because nothing had worked until now. But I got home and I tried it, and my cat ate the entire thing faster than I had ever seen my cat eat . This doubt just represents the level of care and customer service and local small town small shop service. You don't really get nowadays. I feel like an 80-year-old riding this, but I am a millennial and I just very much appreciate this Store what a hidden gem what a place to find I'm so happy that I did. They have everything! They even sell cigarettes at the front counter, which threw me off at first, but they are the cheapest cigarettes I have ever witnessed in this town. The selection of cigarettes is the same as everywhere else, but the prices are about a dollar or less give or take. last thing, have to address this someone said the one thing they didn't like. Is that the pet store sold candy and cigarettes. Thus not giving them a five out of five star review despite everything else being great. Originally, a couple of years ago, I met the former owner, Liz, when walking my dog past her house…read moreone day. She told me she still worked at Laundromutt, just no longer the owner. She did a nice job but did not return my text re: making an appointment the 3rd time I wanted my 15# Aussiedoodle groomed by her (note: NOT Laudromutt's fault Liz ghosted me! Btw, Liz no longer works there, either.) She'd told me on the 1st appt. *no one* but her would groom an Aussieddodle (which I found out later was b.s.), so after that, I bought my own electric Andis trimmer. Let's just say, I'm no trained groomer! After too long, I decided to give Laundromutt another chance (& glad I did!). I called several times over 2 days...no one answered the phone nor returned my voicemails. Then, finally the owner answered on the 2nd day & I told her the situation re: my trying to get an appt. (she wasn't there to answer the phone & wasn't happy the employees hadn't answered & I went thru that). She got me in that day with Gladys. She also gave me a 25% discount because I thought their discount days noted online were for grooming, which the discount days during the week are NOT related to the grooming, only the self-service bathing - so be aware of that! It's rather deceiving. Same for behind the main counter, they have those discount days painted on the wall but no indication it's ONLY for the self-serve bathing. Now here's the happy ending that'll have me returning... Gladys did a TOPNOTCH groom! Gladys is exceptionally thorough & she had a lot of work to do on my girl who was in desperate need of a good grooming! Gladys pulled out all stops! Plus, she explained everything she did (A LOT!) & gave me suggestions for my dog's grooming care in the meantime. My pup was very relaxed & very happy afterwards, her thick coat trimmed down very short just in time for the heat! I could tell by my dog's behavior when I picked her up that Gladys treated her very well, too. (My dog is very compliant when getting groomed but would tremble the whole time with Liz...but I think she probably relaxed under Gladys's care.) Thank you, Gladys!

While I would still recomment…read moreCottage Grove Groomers because they were very good with my dog Sigred, I switched to another place here in Cottage Grove because I didn't like my dog being kept in a crate for more than an hour, with a bunch of other dogs around making noise and stressing her out. It always seemed to be two to 3 hours from drop off to pick up. Other than that they were always very nice and my pooch looked great after.
