This is a small store that carries an array of natural foods for dogs and cats, treats, accessories, toys, and grooming supplies. Prices are about average for the area. They have better quality pet food than you can get at the big box stores, though they don't carry the grain-in kibble brand I've been feeding for the past few years. I supplement with fresh meat and vegetables and yes, my dog is pampered, but I wasn't ready to switch base kibble brands, and I only saw grain-free options on the shelf. I've always chosen to support smaller companies. Even though J co natural pet charges more for the same products than petsmart. I still would shop there to support a smaller company. Not after today. I brought 1 out of my many dogs in to pick up some training treats. He is only 6 months old. The clerk working approached very quickly/closely to me and my dog. and caught my dog off guard and he nervous peed slightly. The Clerk asked if I wanted to take him outside. So I did to the grass to finish his accident. I returned to pay for the treats and leave. However the clerk yelled at me and my dog not to come back into the store and to leave the dog outside. I calmly informed him I will never be going back to this store again. My puppy had a nervous accident. And it is way too hot outside to leave a pet outside. Especially a black puppy. The clerk furthered the bad experience for my dog and for myself. We both deserved to be treated kindly and with respect. read more

J Co is amazing! Went in for the first time and loved everything they had in there, and they have everything! They have several great food brands and a lot of great pet accessories. Also shout out to the man working, wish I remembered his name, but he was incredibly helpful and really knew that store well. Will definitely be returning. read more

I am really glad I have found this place. I only wish I had found them sooner. I have been driving across town buying bags of dog food for my girls for quite some time. The food I get you can't get at the commercial stores, you have to get at special stores like J Co. The first time I came in, I was really impressed with the knowledge of the staff, and the customer service that was given not just to me, but to the other customer's that were in front of me. I observed the store owner carry out a bag of dog food for an elderly man that day and that melted my heart. They didn't have the size bag of food I needed, so he ordered it for me. Unfortunately shortly after that I ended up taking my Son's dog in, and had to switch brands because it was a little spendy paying for 2 small dogs, and 1 large dog. It is the same company of food, just the cheaper version. Thankfully they carry it here as well. When I did purchase my bag of Orijen dog food the owner carried that bag out for me... no questions asked. That is just the kind of guy he is. I am now buying Acana, which is the Sister to Orijen. They have the program where you buy 11 bags get the 12'th one free. Or 10 get the 11'th? Something around there. I can't quite remember. I have been still buying my food at the other place because I am waiting to get my free bag. I think I have one more purchase until I can be a more loyal customer here. I think customer service, and knowledge of the product is really important especially when dealing with pets. They have that going on here. Nothing but the best here. My Pomeranians are one in a half, and one and they rarely get treats, the only treats I have ever bought for them have been the Orijen freeze dried treats their whole lives up until Thanksgiving time when I saw the Bocce treats here. They looked really healthy, and limited ingredients. My girls love them, and they have not had upset tummy's or have not had any itchy issues while eating them. I am one picky Pommy Mommy when it comes to what they eat, and now I also watch what my Son's English Cream retriever eats. She has not had any issues eating these treats either. They are all eating the Acana, after eating Orijen puppy, and love it. Their coats are beautiful, and soft. As soon as my Son takes his baby back, I will switch back to Orijen for my Pommy baby's though since they won't eat me out of house, and home. :-) Anyhow, best place for food, treats, toys, and shampoo. This is a great place. All healthily stuff for your pet. I get my dogs food here. It's a huge bag(I let the young man carry it to the car) & I struggle to get it into the house. It lasts a month. Then I buy another. Lol They have a nice assortment of toys & great dog snacks. When I bring a paper bag home from there - Henry always sticks his head in. Looking for his treat!! Lol. read more

Yes, this is one great place for service and dog food. The array of dog treats is amazing. I have a customer service story: Bought a big bag of dog kibble. Got to my car and no keys? So I went back to the store and asked Jason would he please call my phone. I then ran back to the car and found it ringing down the side panel of driver seat. Found it ! Ha..... Saved the day ! I am a very picky person when it comes to my fur kids. Have been looking for a new food for the older ones and a new place to buy that food. In my research I found that this pet store has numerous high quality foods. This is also a family owned business and has been around for a very long time. I was told in the future they may start home delivery which I think will be an awesome deal. The food I purchased so far the dogs have gone crazy for. This place is a great place for you to buy your food the owner is very knowledgeable on the products he carries. I will keep going back and even try some of the freezer products. read more

The best dog food store ever ..... the owner is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all my questions... and I have a lot!!! Great products ... excellent customer service! We use Earthborn borne dog food ... No recalls in the 80 yrs in business but I was in a bind and had to purchase it at another business in town... without saying names they also sell cigarettes, candy and soda ... it was even a little cheaper bought one if the flavors that my dogs have had from J Co but when I brought the bag from the other store my dogs got diarrhea stopped eating it even a friends puppy who eats everything took a bite a spit it out ... I bagged it back up and took it back for my $$ went back to J Co and got the same flavor and my dogs ate it right up with no issues!!! Thus other store is selling expired food that has been sitting in warehouses .... please be careful where you buy your animals food ....J Co cares and it's the only place I buy my dogs food .... they also have a good selection of raw foods if you use that !!! read more
