Beef with Hot Garlic Sauce Lunch Special..
    Richard H.

Here is my two cents on the quality quantity and price of my Kung pow pork.. It was delivered by Uber eats in a timely manner... This is the second time I have ordered from Ming Garden .... It was as good as the first time.. Except for giving me extra napkins it was delicious!. They use different vegetables then what they did for my previous order.. hot sauce was a good combination with the food.. You get your main entrée choice of rice white rice or fried rice . They also include a fresh and crispy egg roll.. They are due what most places don't anymore is give you that fortune cookie .. The other thing I must comment on is their takeout containers... They are very secured leakproof food very well plus, they are easy to take off.,.... And I found at $15 plus delivery from Uber eats it's only about $20 altogether ... so the price is quite reasonable.. This will definitely be my go to Chinese place when I'm not looking to experiment and checking out other restaurants . So I definitely recommend everyone to at least give them a try at least one time ..

Love going to this place. I live a few blocks away so it's super convenient. Food is great. I usually order the same two things but the taste and quality are great. They're also super sweet at the restaurant!

Ordered food off DoorDash delivery! Got the Crab Rangoons and Hot & Sour Soup! Crab Rangoons were $9.75 for a pack of 8!! Great pricing and they were super yummy. They also gave a great sized portion of the soup for $11. Food was made quickly and soup was still pipping hot by the time it got dropped off on my doorstep! I'm a sucker for hot & soup soup and this satisfied my cravings!! Definitely want to go in person to check out the spot for myself next time but will definitely be checking them out again!

I hope ordering in is a lot better for you customers ordering out you're cheated

WHY have I been sleeping on this place? No longer will I skip this little hole in the wall if I have a Chinese food craving. Don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews! Ming's Garden took me by surprise. Placed a DoorDash order, (so I can't really comment on the atmosphere or service) got the chicken with explosive chili. It's perfectly seasoned, spicy, crispy, delicious. 10/10, no notes. Vegetable chow mein, loved the chewier noodle and veggie ratio, not dried out or loaded with cabbage like some chow mein can be. I will definitely be back to try other items, although it might be hard not to get these every time!

I called Pearl River off of Lincoln first, but I was not able to understand the gal that answered the phone. Nor was she able to understand me so I went w/ the next best option that isn't too far from where I live. We were not eating meat that day, Gavin wanted chow fun so I figured we should try this place. The gentleman that answered the phone was very courteous and upbeat. Both of our orders came out the way we wanted it. I would prefer bean sprouts, bell peppers, green onions, and cabbage but I did not want to be that customer. The orders came to us in meal prep containers and was packed to the rim. A tad under-seasoned so we used one of the soy sauce packets it came w/. A little Sriracha from home made this a very filling and comforting meal. And yes, we'd go back to try their other items when we get a chance. I cannot complain.

Ordered Ming's Garden on Yelp. I made a mistake and hit pick up instead of delivery. Luckily, this place was only 10 minutes away. We wanted a simple meal, vegetable Chow Mein, potstickers and egg rolls. The food was decent for the price. Nothing to go crazy about, but if you want to satisfy a craving for a quick bite of Chinese food, this is a good spot to keep in mind. This was the first time I have ever ordered Chinese food, especially Chow Mein and did not have any leftovers after. We all know the best part of getting Chinese food is the leftovers the next day. So they need to hook up the bigger portions. The potstickers where really good. The egg rolls I would pass on. It was really doughy and not much flavor.

Oh my god oh my god oh my God this Chinese food is so good so fresh, so authentic so tasty the service is very very polite and fast and courteous. The ambience was so calm and peaceful. Me and my hubby enjoyed the meal in peace in silence from the vegetable soup to the broccoli and beef with the fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, and my HONEY got sweet-and-sour chicken. If it was amazing we definitely didn't know about this place but we do now, and we will be returning soon. Thank you so much for having us.

The food quality is overall very good - it has a "homemade feel" to it, even the more complex dishes. Things I've tried. Nachos with . . . many things. The Salsa is great and spicy, the Guac is good, the bean dip is smooth. The chips are clearly made there. The Guacamole con Chicharron was really excellent. I've found the burritos to be solid. I'd definitely give say give the Chrorizo a try for sure! The Tacos de Gobernador are a new favorite. It's not just good seafood tacos, they also add cool veggies and sauce to out-of-the-fryer fish which really enhances the taste. That's on to have right there. If you like Mexican food, then give this a try. They have a Taco Tuesday, a Dance Floor, and are next to a Mexican pastry shop. You've got everything you need for a nice evening. Just be sure to go in once. Enjoy the ambiance, the nice bar, and the positive attitude. When I first went in two people were sitting at the bar, watching a dog show on one of the big televisions. We asked for a second serving which they were happy to provide. Our order took a little longer than we'd hoped but the portions were good and food was satisfactory. It seemed like the fajitas combo was just missing something. Not sure if it was that it needed more seasoning or more garnish. The tortilla soup was good but was too spicy for me to finish. My buddy was also craving some Fish n Chips as well. Good size venue with a decent amount of seating. Parking is not an issue, with plenty of spaces in the plaza. Use the kiosk in the front to order and wait for your number to be called. This is a fast casual restaurant, so it's open seating. The interior and the tables were clean. Service was very friendly. The staff were very helpful and informational. They gave us extra sauce when we needed and were on top of everything. They took away our plates and cleaned out the table as soon as we left. #FishGrill: ~ LOBSTER NACHOS - 3.5/5 A heaping amount of food. I thought it could do with a bit more Lobster meat. There were tons of chips. Corn chips, wild-caught lobster, avocado, roasted corn, green onion, lomi tomato, diced chilies, cream sauce, green goddess & dynamite sauce. ~ FRIED CATFISH w/ Fire Roasted Street Corn - 4.5/5 Reminds me of NOLA. An excellent fried Catfish; crispy, mild and flaky without being overly oily and heavy. I thought the catfish could be a bit meatier portion wise. Grilled available as well. The Roasted Street Corn was perfect as well. ~ French Fries - 4/5 Brilliant Fries. Simple, crispy, slightly salty, just about perfect. Solid spot. Ordered fish tacos with salsa on the side but actual order came with fish on top of the salsa and slaw. Disappointed but didn't comment about that since I didn't notice until I'd already taken a bite of each taco. Wished it had been served on the side as it made the tacos soggy and a little spicier than I would have liked. Fried Baja fish tacos had batter similar to fish and chips batter. Wished it was a lighter batter to make it easier on the stomach. It was hard to eat the corn tortilla on both tacos because the salsa was on the bottom of the fish versus being on top of the fish. Accompanying salad was dressed just right with the vinaigrette I requested. Black beans were nicely seasoned. Ordered a nojito which was not very flavorful. Thought it would be mintier, citrusy mocktail but honestly it just tasted like ginger ale with two quartered limes and sprigs of mint. Not worth the $6 I paid for it. Very disappointing.. Would have been better off saving that money spent to buy a pint of ice cream from a local retailer. Don't think I'll go out of my way to return unless I'm sure that my order will be more aligned to my order and if I'm in the neighborhood..

The platter includes one pupusa of your choice, one pastelito, one chicken tamal, one corn tamal, fried yuca with chicharron, one empanada, plantains, sour cream, pickled cabbage, and pickled red onions. I chose the pork, bean, and cheese pupusa, which ended up being one of my favorite items. It tasted authentic with great tortilla texture and flavor. The pastelito was nice and crispy. The chicken tamal was good and similar to a Mexican tamale, but with a softer masa. The corn tamal was sweet and tasted like a cornbread muffin. The fried yuca was good and had a similar texture to potatoes. The chicharron was okay and was a bit bland. The empanada was more of a dessert, as it was sweet with a custard-like filling. The plantains were cooked perfectly and had a nice balanced of sweetness. Also ordered one pupusa with pork and cheese. Personally, I prefer the version that includes beans, but this one was still worth trying. The sopa de pata is a cow feet soup that includes cabbage, carrots, tripe, and yuca, served with tortilla, dried chili peppers, and dried oregano on the side. The broth was flavorful, but there were a lot of vegetables. The cow feet did not have a lot of tendon, so it was basically two pieces of bone that took up a lot of space in the bowl. The tripe was soft, and I like how it was prepared well without any unpleasant smell. The horchata Salvadoreña was refreshing, but okay. Plenty of parking. Customer service was good, and both the waitress and kitchen staff were friendly and welcoming. The indoor dining is small and can fit about 20 to 25 people. The restaurant is located in downtown Campbell and there's plenty of street and garage parking. The restaurant itself had very simple, clean, and modern feel and was very intimate. The menu changes daily based on what's available, and we had the choice to do family sharing style ($125/person) or al la carte. Since the menu wasn't super extensive, we decided to give family style a try so we didn't have to think about what to order and how much to order. The family sharing style came with 4 raw dishes, 4 starter/appetizer dishes, 3 main dishes, and 1 dessert. For our raw dishes round, I really enjoyed the salmon (with some type of chili oil), and the scallops with Chinese sausage. For the appetizer round, I really enjoyed the clam (although a bit small) and the potato chip with caviar (very creamy and flavorful). As for the main, I really enjoyed the cornbread although would say the ikura gets a bit covered up by the creamy sauce (although still incredibly delicious). We also got a short rib but I found it to be a bit heavy in the sauce and on the saltier side. The dessert was a chocolate peanut bar that felt like a very elevated snickers bar. Overall, food is pretty good even though on the pricier side and the service is excellent. This is definitely more of a special occasion kind of restaurant!
