The beignets were a great way to start, fresh squeezed OJ (pricey, but sooo good), wife got one of the skillets, I had the croissant French toast. Solid portions, bacon was legit, plenty of options for all. The wait was about 20 minutes, not painful for a Sunday am before church let out. The bar was available, indoor/outdoor concept which is nice (similar to Blueberry's in a couple ways) beautiful shaded patio, plenty of space, open airy concept. Went here for a late breakfast and some Mimosas. I had the spinach, bacon, mushroom omelet with was fantastic!!! Me and the wife had the traditional mimosa flight which all four were good! The atmosphere is really nice and for their first Saturday the wait wasn't long. However, we waited over an hour for our food to come out. I understand it Saturday and they are new however, having to wait 45 before someone let us know that the kitchen was backed up was unacceptable. They did offer us beignets and the wait staff was very apologetic which was nice. I just wish the manager would have stopped by, especially being their first weekend, to know how everything is going and to keep us informed. I really enjoyed a lake Breakfast on Saturday. The ambiance is really great and open. Outside seating is nice when it is not 100% humidity. The service was good and the food was excellent. The only complaint was it took a long time (20-25 mins) to get our food. But we we're having such a good conversation we did not mind. Went to Mimosas for the first time yesterday & I have a few things to review... All of the staff had a smile on their face, whether they were helping us or not. The whole place was pleasant and had an upbeat relaxing vibe. There was SO much to order, I wanted one of everything, haha. I chose the Crab Cake Benedict with home fries for about $18. It was a little pricey but I'm a thick girl and who loves food & I could have easily split this meal with someone else. The crab cakes and English muffins were HUGE, so it is definitely a shareable platter. Now let's talk about the fries & home fries. . You won't find better fries in myrtle, I challenge you. My grandma got the shrimp tacos, and my mom got the smash burger. Everyone raved on their meals. The sweet tea was a little wonky, but I'm a southern girl, so my tea standards are high, haha. The food presentation was good! However, the food was bland and lacked flavor (Breakfast Smash Burger and Avocado toast). Been in Mimosas 2 times now and each time was great. First to start off the place has extremely nice decor it's good looking inside and outside. The food is great, I get an iced latte each time which comes out so good (they have their own coffee bar). They have a wide menu and in sure you can find something no matter what you want. My husband and I had breakfast on our way out of town this morning and I thought it was great, especially by myrtle beach standards! The service was a little wonky but hopefully that's due to being new (I had a waffle, but didn't get my syrup for a solid 10 minutes after I was served, which is why I deducted a star). The restaurant ambiance is perfectly neat but don't get deceived by it's looks coz what's more important is you get satisfied with the food you put in your stomach. I have eaten here twice now with two different set of diners. Food was good both times. Ample portions to the point you could almost share a plate. I ate once at 8:30 and once at 10:30 on a different day. I noticed food was delivered quicker at 8:30 vs. 10:30. This was mainly due to the fact that a lot of people came at one time at the 10:30 slot. You can only process people but so fast. Anyway, i waited about 10 minutes for my order at 8:30 and about 20 minutes at 10:30. I had a direct view of the kitchen door at the 10:30 breakfast, and I observed food runners delivering orders constantly. Waitress kept constant check on our table while we waited. Both parties said they enjoyed their breakfast and would definitely return for another meal. read more

Food and service are mediocre at best. Took over an hour for our food to finally get to us. We would request something from our server (refills, to go boxes) and he would literally pass by us with no acknowledgement. I finally had to go through the restaurant and find him to get what we needed. Then on top of that they overcharged me on my credit card. I ALWAYS go to Blueberry Grill if I'm in MB.
