Came here for a Saturday afternoon brunch date and was thoroughly impressed. Despite the weekend rush, the wait was only about 20 minutes. We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, and it was the star of the show; perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. The sides didn't play second fiddle, either; the bacon was crispy and the potatoes were seasoned better than your average breakfast spot. Also, do yourself a favor and get the mimosa pitcher;it's a great value and perfect for a long brunch. The staff was attentive and kept everything moving smoothly. Definitely recommending this spot!

Tried Mimi's Cafe recently and overall it was a decent experience. The atmosphere was really cozy and the staff was friendly, but the food was a little hit or miss for me. Some items were really good while others were just okay and not as flavorful as I expected. Portions were nice though, and it's still a cute spot for brunch or coffee with friends.

I came for the French toast. It was just okay. I like my bread thicker. It (the syrup I guess) could have been sweeter. It came with your choice of 2 eggs and protein. I asked for over medium but received scrambled. The server was aware and brought me the correct eggs. It wasn't very busy when we went but we waited longer than expected. For the cost($15.69) and quality I likely wont be back.

I went to a seminar at this restaurant. I usually ordered breakfast but I decided to order the pot roast. It was the best pot roast I ever had. The meat was tender and had a wine gravy sauce that was so scrumptious!!!

I got an omelette that came with toast. It was just okay. The potatoes tasted like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp- not fresh. The coffee was not very especially for $4. It wasn't worth it for me to return.

Farmhouse Breakfast Tacos, French Dip Sandwich, Fall Griddlecake Sampler

I love Mimi's! It was first recommended to me by a coworker after I admitted I had never had brunch at a restaurant. The Farmhouse Breakfast Tacos are the perfect balance of fresh, savory, and spicy and I like to pair them with something sweet. This time I got the Fall Griddle Cake Sampler, which had a cinnamon roll flavor, berries and cream flavor, and a tiramisu flavor. Honestly, all 3 mostly came through as "pancake+icing" more than anything else (especially tiramisu -- didn't get much espresso flavor from that), but I'm not upset about it. They were delicious. My favorite sweet dish is a cinnamon roll french toast I had several visits ago (crunchy, soft, sweet, cinnamon). The mimosas taste pretty good and come with a small bottle of champagne that can't entirely be poured into the glass the first time, so you can top it off. They're always super busy, so service can be hit or miss depending on who you get. Across the board they're fairly attentive though, and always friendly. If you come on a day with temperate enough weather, the outdoor seating is really nice and is a nice change from the louder atmosphere inside.

The menu looked promising and they are definitely incorporating some trendy ingredients and items, like birria and Dubai chocolate. I opted for a Bacon Avocado omelette, which was just fine. What concerned me was the fact that my daughter, who ate the birria and commented it seemed off and the broth was horrible, was sick after eating here. The price was not on par with the food we received. Additionally, offer of free muffins for following them on IG was not honored and other stipulations were added. Overpriced, outdated, eat at your own risk.

Guys! This place was absolutely delicious! Besides the warm lights creating a beautiful ambiance and atmosphere, the food was absolutely impeccable. At first, I was disappointed that the Tomato Basil Soup did not come with a bread or croutons, but after that first taste, I quickly realized it didn't have to be paired with a side. That's how good it was! I'm definitely getting the bowl next time. The Caesar Salad had the perfect amount of dressing, the lettuce was still crispy and not soggy, and I'm pretty sure the croutons were made in house. The steak was a PERFECT medium-rare, the eggs were scrambled perfectly, and the potatoes were roasted to perfection. I'm not a sweets person, but the Apple Crisp Crumble was delicious. Not too sweet and the caramel was nice touch. Our waiter was so sweet and checked in on us several times during our brunch to make sure we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves. We didn't have to wave him down or ask for a refill once! I will definitely return and recommend to others! Consider me a fan!

I had not been to Mimi's in many years until recently. My daughter and I dropped in Saturday morning for breakfast before shopping. Service was quick and the menu expansive. It took us a few extra minutes to decide what to eat. We decided to share an omelet bc most omelets are huge and it came with potatoes and a muffin. We added an extra muffin so we didn't have to share that! We chose the bacon and avocado omelet and banana chocolate chip muffins. The omelet was smaller than we expected but because of the potatoes and muffin we didn't need more. Both were very tasty. We didn't love the potatoes but they were filling. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. They seemed well staffed. I do think it's pricey but where isn't these days? We will definitely keep it on our list of breakfast places.

First time here. We had a delightful lunch here. Our server was great, he answered my questions quickly and confidently. A+. Roasted turkey plate (Thanksgiving Dinner) was good, the stuffing not quite as moist as he likes. The crème brûlée was the star of the show for my husband. That is his favorite dessert and he felt they did a very good job. I have the mushroom brie burger with au gratin potatoes, and a side salad Kitsch perfectly great blend of flavors yummy delicious! Since this was our first time, our waiter Gave us a blueberry muffin to take home with us that's great Customer Service. My only complaint is that it's very noisy here, very busy, so intimate conversations may not take place very often here. The menu is wide and vast and I think we'll be back because there's many things we want to try.

First time visiting Mimi's Cafe in Friendly Center, and it was a pleasant experience overall! The parking is convenient with plenty of spaces, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was looking forward to trying a cappuccino with oat milk, but unfortunately, they didn't have milk alternatives (or it wasn't clear if they offered any), so I opted for a regular coffee instead. Still, it was a nice start to the meal. For breakfast, I ordered the Classic Benedict. It was tasty and exactly what you'd expect from a classic spot like Mimi's. The restaurant has a familiar, comforting vibe, and you know what you're getting when you dine here. A solid choice for a reliable meal!

    Quiche Lorraine with salad

I reserved a table in advance through their website just in case. My visit was during the afternoon on a Sunday. Sunday breakfast/brunch has historically been busy. My table was available when I arrived. We had the most pleasant waiter. He was funny, knowledgeable and attentive. They have a nice size menu that I believe will cater to different appetites. I ordered the quiche Lorraine with a side salad/house dressing. My daughter ordered the French toast/eggs and sausage. The food arrived timely. The quiche is a nice size. You will definitely get full. It was delightful. Nice fluffy eggs in a nice flavorful crust. The ingredients tasted fresh. My daughter loved her French toast. She was so full from the toast that she didn't eat her eggs. Her sausages were tiny. I would expect the nice full size sausages at this price point. It has been a while since I've visited this restaurant and I am glad I can add it back into my rotation.

Sunday brunch with friends and it was a fun time. Had a 45 min wait, but we did some shopping while we waited. The breakfast was good, I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was the usual brunch crowd.

Jill and Kayne, who previously created KAU at Revolution Mill before selling it to Pepper Moon, also own Old Town Draft House and Boulder's Bar and Grill. Each and every one is amazing in its own way. Old Town has been one of the longest standing establishments, and it puts out incredible food! Burgers, wraps, apps, salads, wings, sandwiches, Philly's, even a burrito... you name it. Pretty much everything that comes out of this kitchen is a hit. Today I had the chicken Philly. Yep, the best chicken Philly I've had in a very long time. The classic soft Philly hoagie, chicken that's tender and juicy, peppers and onions full of flavor with the perfect consistency (not too limp, not too raw), all topped with oozing cheese that they're not shy with. I'm salivating just thinking about it as I write this...may have to go get another one tomorrow lol. The housemade chips and dip were perfect with it. On a Saturday afternoon, I was in Greensboro and in the mood for some good pretzels and a draft beer, and this hit the spot. Old Town Draught House has a very old bar ambience, without feeling worn out and dated. I love the old dark wood throughout the building. They have a pretty broad draft beer menu, along with normal bar offerings. I was happy to see multiple sour beers on the list, because that's exactly what I was in the mood for. There's no table service, and it is seat yourself, but the bartenders were very attentive, and it was never difficult to place an order at the bar. We ordered a few beers and decided to get deviled eggs and the pretzels as appetizers to share. Food came out very quickly. The pretzels were pretty good, but I've had better elsewhere. Rather than being crispy, they were soft and a bit soggy, but the flavor was great. The beer cheese was on point, although I would've preferred a spicy brown mustard over yellow mustard. The deviled eggs were a bit of a letdown, because it was just a hard-boiled egg cut in half with a little bit of sweet chili peppers and dressing that tasted like 1000 Island on top. When I think of deviled eggs, I anticipate the egg yolks being removed, mixed with a few ingredients, and piped back in. For what was basically two eggs cut in half, the six-dollar price tag was steep. Overall, we had a great experience, although I would likely choose different food options next time. The bar staff were great, the beer offerings nice, and the ambience was a good vibe.
