I came to Mimi Nails with my sister and unfortunately we had a very uncomfortable experience. From the beginning she asked us what kind of nails we wanted in a rude manner. My sister explained what she wanted but she kept suggesting something different. Even after my sister said no she continued pushing her suggestion instead of respecting what my sister wanted. She started doing my manicure first because she said she was the only one who could do hard gel. While doing my nails she was handling my hands and nails very aggressively to the point where I was worried she was going to cut my skin. I also noticed that some of my nails looked uneven and off center so I politely pointed it out to her. Instead of listening to my concern she became defensive and sounded angry. She told me she was trying her best but could not fix it because the problem was my natural nails. She also told me that she had been doing nails for 35 years. At that point I became too uncomfortable to continue and asked her to stop. The photos I posted are how my nails looked when I decided to stop the service. They are not photos of a completed manicure. I did not want her to finish because of how aggressively she was doing my nails and how rude and defensive she became when I expressed my concerns. After I asked her to stop she told me that I still had to pay her because I had wasted her time. I understand that someones time and work are valuable but as a customer I should also be able to speak up when I am uncomfortable with a service without being treated rudely. I did not stop the appointment for no reason. I stopped because I no longer felt comfortable allowing her to continue working on my nails. After leaving I went to Golden Nails and the difference in how I was treated was amazing. They were very welcoming nice and understanding about what happened. They were able to fix the problems with my nails and they did not even charge me for fixing them. I am extremely thankful for their kindness and for making me feel comfortable after such an unpleasant experience. I am sharing my experience because customers should feel comfortable communicating with their nail technician especially when something does not look right or they are experiencing discomfort. Unfortunately I did not feel listened to or respected at Mimi Nails and I chose to leave rather than continue a service that made me uncomfortable.

Wow! Where do I start?? My nails were done with precision and care and the quality is amazing. Mimi did my nails and I absolutely loved sitting in her chair. She is so easy to talk to and beyond amazing at what she does. She will forever have a returning customer. Thank you so much Mimi. You have such a beautiful shop with amazing color selections and she also gave insight about the Gel X service beforehand. I appreciate it so much. Thank you.

The staff was really nice initially but I went in thinking I could get a quick french tip & the owner convinced me to get these cute sparkles instead. I'm guessing to try and hide the shape. I kept asking for square and instead I received these oblong looking nails. If you're looking for quality service keep looking because I was also rushed out of my chair, only to be met with a push to pay for cash after I repeatedly stated I don't have enough to pay with cash.

On Thursday 09/12/24 was my first time coming to this business. Unfortunately I should've just went to another establishment. My experience at this nail salon was NOT PLEASANT. When I arrived I wasn't greeted I was just asked what I needed done. Before being sat down at the chair to get my feet done I used the restroom and a worker was sitting on the floor eating her lunch right next to the restroom, red flag. That was very unsanitary and unethical. The owner should have designated areas for her employees to eat. The owner clearly doesn't give a dam to have her workers sit on the floor to eat near the bathroom. While the owner ate at an empty nail table. This place looks super cheap inside they tried to make it look expensive but completely looks cheap! From the old drapes and chandler. The service I requested was 1 gel pedicure and 1 gel manicure. No type of conversations between the ladies giving me the nail service. First, the woman doing my feet was new and I was a trial/experiment. She had NO CLUE what to do. The woman doing my manicure constantly told her what to do. I told her from the beginning I wanted my toe nails clipped a tinny bit as my toe nails were grown out and I like them left longer. I asked her to shape my toe nails into square. She stated she understood. As I am looking at the other woman doing my manicure the lady doing my feet cuts my toe nails SO SHORT! And I tell her that I asked for her to clip a tiny bit. She ignored me. I know my feet and I like what I like. My thing is if she didn't know what I meant she should've clarified. Now I'm stuck with short uneven toes nails. I told her she cut to short and she tried to do better on my other foot. The lady who did my gel manicure did good. She gave me a massage after doing my manicure. I've never received that at any salon. I was definitely in pain the next morning she was extremely ROUGH. As I am paying the owner Mimi asked if I was leaving a tip on my card I said yes $5. She's said "only $5 but what about the other girl" I said look at my feet they are uneven you want me to leave a tip for someone who didn't follow instructions? Then she stated she would fix my toes I stated to her "HOW CAN YOU FIX MY TOE NAILS THEY HAVE BEEN CUT ALREADY ARE YOU GOING TO GLUE THEM BACK ON? She went silent and I paid and left very unhappy. Mimi should've done better handling this situation she failed as business owner. As an owner you should handle this in a better manner instead of giving a customer attitude. Not one bit did I give her attitude even though I was NOT happy with her worker's service. Today is Sunday and the gel manicure is already chipping. JUST HORRIBLE. I paid $75 for gel 1 manicure and 1 pedicure. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. There are multiple negative reviews about this place. No care for clients wants and needs. Do me a favor and don't waste your money with this garbage business.

I found my new go to nail spot! Theyre super close to me and have THE BEST staff. Everyone is so well trained, the facility is clean and nice, the treatment that come with your service are great. I got a gel mani/pedi which came out to about $78 for both. The color selection was incredible. Theyre very thorough with all their work. What surprised me was at the end of the service, they even gave you a MASSAGE. Like a legit massage!! Even aside from the massage chairs! One time I called in super late 15 mins before they closed and they STILL TOOK ME. Theyre really super nice, caring, and I'll definitely frequent them more often

I've gone to Mimi's since for years now, she's never once let me down! The nails are always beautiful and thoughtful, with the service to match. Everyone here always treats you so lovely. I very heavily recommend coming!

My grandmother has been coming here for years. I tag along occasionally and haven't had a bad experience. It's a typical salon with typical service. However, after my grandmothers triple bypass, and watching how careful they were with her, how caring, how much they helped her in and out of the chair, how they listened so intently to her, I decided to make the drive to bring her here as often as possible. I had the best pedicure today, and found my new favorite lady! It's clean, the bathroom is clean, the chairs are nice and the ladies are awesome. There are a ton of nail salons in CV, but if you come here more than once, chances are Mimi remembers your name.

I really liked how my nails came out! I have gotten alot of compliments about my nails.

I moved to the Bay Area in 2022 and discovered MiMi's. I used to love their services and visited at least once a month. I even recommended them to friends and started bringing my husband as well. I always tipped generously. But after my experience today, I will never go back. I went in for my usual French tips and picked a color that turned out to be too light. I politely asked for a different color, and to my surprise, MiMi became upset and treated me with complete disrespect. This was over one painted toe! When I asked if they had a pecan frost or cream shade, she came over yelling, making me feel utterly uncomfortable. Everything seems fine at MiMi's--unless you dare to ask for the service you're paying for. I've never felt so embarrassed and hurt. How can a business get upset because they don't have the color I want? There are plenty of nail salons in the area, and while MiMi's was my go-to, they will never see me again. I'll be telling everyone about this awful experience. read more

Today was my first time here... and typically I get very anxious trying a new nail spot. I also prefer to go to much smaller spots like Mimi's since it feel more intimate and much more about YOU since you are the customer. I walked in and was a bit early for my appointment, Kelly greeted me right away and took me to my pedicure chair. The salon is super clean and seems newly renovated. Pedicure massage chairs are my weakness and theirs did not disappoint. Kelly was super sweet and got straight to my toes, and made sure I was comfortable, a little half way through my pedicure was when the next tech came and started my manicure.... Sadly I didn't not get her name. But she was super efficient and did a great got my my hands. Both ladies did an AMAZING job. I would now say this is my new go to spot. They do take walk in's so i recommend making an appointment just incase. Although they do accept card, make sure you bring some cash to make tipping your tech easier. read more

As a local business owner myself, I don't like to write these type of reviews. But in this case, I feel like it's absolutely necessary. Mimi treated us (my daughter and I) well for the first few visits. I even recommended a friend (whom I just told what happened and she may not be going back either). All was okay up until we had our nails done elsewhere ONCE because it was more convenient (location wise). Mimi was not happy about that and instantly started giving us attitude and treating us differently (as if we're no longer her customers). We brushed it off and came back for the second time. She told us to come right in as there was no wait time. We came in had to wait for 15 minutes. I showed her what I wanted done which I have had done here before and she claimed that that's not possible. This seems to be an occurrence with Mimi. She will try to convince you to do what's easier and more convenient for them rather than what you want done. Midway through my daughters manicure, she asked her to go sit back into the waiting room so she can take someone else. This has never happened before, not here or any other salon we've been to. All while given attitude. My final straw was when Mimi approached me publicly and asked me what I did in her bathroom, number one or number two? Because "you are not supposed to be doing number two in there. My customers complain about that. I felt humiliated, unwelcome, disrespected." Mind you, my daughter went to the bathroom soon after me and didn't notice anything. This was harassment! So a heads up, IF YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM HERE, NO #2's!!! This lady should not be dealing with the public at all. She has no sense of customer service, has attitude and anger issues. I have read other reviews and if this is how she treats customers, I would not be surprised that she mistreats her employees. Finally, when we were all done, I paid her and she was still standing there expecting a tip. Absolutely not. The nerve she has!!! If I had to make a choice to do my own nails or come here, I would rather do my own nails. This was by far the worst experience ever. Mimi, you need help! read more

I came here for the first time to do my nails and I liked how they came out but I deducted 2 stars for 2 reasons. 1) they told me I can't do the original design I showed them just because I wanted them shorter than what the picture showed. It didn't make sense because even the design she ended up doing for me was some what similar what's the length have to do with how you paint the nail? And she told me they don't do ombré nails yet it's on their price list by the cash register! 2) I don't like people who demand tips at the end of the service. Although I planned on tipping her myself, she demanded the tip at the end for me and my niece that I paid for. It's like she thought I wasn't going to. And it made me feel like I didn't want to after that. No one is obligated to tip you I'm sorry. It's not obligatory. It was quite rude. I even was disrupted by another customer who was upset she started on me when she had an appt. And that customer was late to her appt. So she did me half way, had me sit on the side again and took her other customer to finish, then finished me afterwards. read more

I called and asked what time they close, they told me 8, I told them my daughter and I would be on their way, they told me "come on in" I drove all the way over and got there at 7:20, and they told me they were closed. I come all the time and tip really well but I won't be back and I will be letting others know. My daughter (5) was sobbing because they turned us away and she was so excited to get her pedicure. Online does not say they close until 8. Very sad and unprofessional. read more

I'm so glad that this place open back up during this pandemic! I am so overdue for a pedicure and I need my nails done so bad!!! I am a firm believer in self care, so I was literally dying! I was driving pass the nail salon and I saw the sign "We are open"! I thought I was dreaming! I quickly called them and Mimi picked up the phone l, she was quick to get me in the same day! I got to my appt, there was a large canopy outdoor and they were playing some old school music. I must admit, I actually enjoy being outdoor and the music, all while I'm getting pamper with a full set and a pedicure, it was amazing! This is the only place I know in Castro valley that is currently operating out door, go get your self care on! read more

I have just finished with a lovely technician called Vicky who did major work on my toenails that sometimes grow out painful. She adjusted them to where they no longer hurt on the sides and did an amazing massage. I think this is one of the best pedicures I have ever had. I no longer have to drive far for a great mani or pedi. Although, I think I would do that for this place- drive far to get here. My tips: Sunday afternoon had six technicians on duty. The pedi is 22 and be sure to tinker with the massage buttons. The gel pedi is 35 and according to the lady next to me, it lasts a month without chipping. Frost and glitter polish lasts longer. Next door is a smoothie place so you can make it a nice afternoon double treat if you deserve it. Do you deserve it? Of course you do, darling. You deserve that and more! Hubbies/ boyfriend can have a pedi too. Try sexy black, blue or clear polish. Otherwise, if you need distractions for your afternoon partner, there is an auto parts and vape store in the same plaza so that would potentially keep someone busy for an hour if you include a fast food burger with the shopping. If your a new customer beware poor customer service. I called to have a full set done arrived at my scheduled time and the owner Mimi told me that I arrived too early that she advised a different time which she did not, and had two people ahead of me. Mimi continued to argue in front of customers that I arrived too early. So I left. Paying customers should be addressed with respect. I also want to note that Mimi does not allow you to pick what you want for your nails and pushes you to do what's faster & easier for her so she can move onto the next client. Gladly taking my business elsewhere. read more

They're so sweet!!! Thank you to Kelly and Lisa for giving me such special treatment. It was my second time here and I always have a wonderful time chit chatting and relaxing and melting into their massages! Yesterday i kept messing up my toes because it was taking forever to dry, and Lisa and Kelly redid it for me each time with so much grace, and didn't make me feel bad at all, we just laughed. My first tome getting my nails done since the start of COVID and I am extremely satisfied! The outside set up is not bad. It's cozy and they have good music to keep you relaxed. All of the ladies were super sweet, and they rocked my full set! I wanted a specific design, so my nail tech had me explain and do each nail one by one so that she could make sure she got it right. Typically I don't get my nails done. Usually only pedicures because I do work with my hands. Very rarely do I even go at all but when I DO I come here. Usually I call if I am not in the area but if I'm passing through I usually just pop my head in and ask if they are free for a walk in and the answer so far on weekdays has always been yes. I love the way my nails look every time I come here. The place is clean and the massage chairs are so nice. The ladies that work there are friendly and work well independently or together. I never feel like I am being rushed out or that I'm waiting around for someone who's forgotten I came in. Mimi has a great team of people. read more

I always have a really good time whenever I get my nails done here. The staff is very accommodating and I even see them work hard to accommodate people who come in with no appointment on the spur of the moment and I've seen the staff readjust to be able to accommodate people so I think that that's pretty impressive. I will say that I never get any type of acrylic nails or gel nails I just get a basic manicure and pedicure and they always do a lovely job. I honestly think their signature pedicure is one of the best because they spend a long amount of time doing different treatments to your feet and it's very thorough so I would recommend that service. All in all I like it there and it's the only place I go cause Mimi is really fun and the staff is super nice. read more

I had an appointment and was finished with my other appointment early called and ask if I could be seen early and they where great . Since covid happen I am very picky and very selective on where I go . This place is hands down great . Super clean and not crowded at all if someone Concerned about the capacity. This is my new home once covid is fully over . I will be back to my weekly pedicures at this lovely location . This place is a must go and experience the nice and cleanliness plus the awesome customer service they give . read more

First time coming here and let me tell you, this was an amazing experience! Mimi, Courtney, Tina, and Nancy were so awesome. All super sweet. My manicure was done by Courtney, she was awesome. Then Tina started my pedicure and Mimi finished. Best pedicure I've had in a while. Mimi, that massage was amazing!! This is for sure my new spot. The atmosphere was great as well. In my 43 years on this planet this is one of the best places I've had the pleasure of frequenting. The ladies are amazing. Some of the most hard working kind people you will ever meet. It's not easy to start or business and keep it going. But I can see why Mimi's has been going strong for so long. I only wirh I had the money to make these ladies my personal daily manicurist. I've given this place multiple chances, the first couple of times everything was great. Mimi has then became rude, rushes you, doesn't listen to what you want. I don't know if it's because I don't tip her $20 after a horrible job or what? Speaking of tip, she always asks if you're going too, and WAITS AND EXPECTS a tip. One time I came in and tried to pay with my Chase card, she told me to drive to Chase and pull out cash and to pay with cash I told her I didn't want to and she said that she preferred cash, if this is your expectation, maybe you should have a cash only sign at the door . Anyway, today I asked for dip powder on my natural nails, she begins to bring out acrylic/ fake nails, I again make sure she's doing dip powder on my real nail, she said she was just adding a short tip to make my natural nails a little longer. I hesitated a bit and then said okay. To my surprise, NOT dip, she's painting on my nails, I also asked for a natural square and got rounded nails. I chose a blue, then changed my mind to white. She then said my fingers were too fat to have white. I live near by and it's convenient. I rather drive 30 minutes away for quality nails. Was told $50, then $55 when she swiped my card, then she said "$55 even?" like yes I am not tipping you. I'm very frustrated. ALSO do they not cut down your cuticles anymore????? If i'm paying $60 for a manicure you would assume they'd soak my nails and do what they're supposed too. read more

Very pretty place inside, Tons of colors options. For manicure or fill, I would recommend seeing Kelly she is such a sweetheart and does her job with true care. For pedicure I would recommend seeing Phannie she does an outstanding job removing any hard spots on your side toes and it does not hurt at all. She also does not tickle you :) both ladies never disappoint me they do a wonderful job and it's always a pleasure to have a conversation with them. If you ever decide to book them I would advise booking them together at once for a better experience. read more

WOWOWOWOW!! I had a great experience here. I had manny and pedi done. It's been quite some time since I cut my nails, so the ladys at Mimi nails had to cut my claws down. I got gel on my finger nails and regular on my toes. They did a really good job cleaning up my cuticles, shaping my nails, and applying the colors on. read more

My pedicure was ok . But I didn't have cash for the tip. So I was thinking of stopping in on my way back from the grocery store and leave my tip in cash . I only tipped $2 now . What was wrong here is that they talk about clients knowing you don't understand. And the girl Holly did my pedicure said something to who I assume is the owner Mimi and she looked at me while they were talking about me and my two dollars. A tip is a tip and the pedicure is already $28 I understand their expectation to get a bigger tip . Anyhow I stumbled into the place while looking for another place . I would come back with cash because that was my intention but considering their reaction and the manner in which they gossip and laughed about me it just wasn't kind or kool. A few years ago I came by mimis for short red acrylics and they came out really thick, i switched to a different salon and got another set and when they grew out so i went to mimis again to ask for a soak off, they charged me $20 to RIP off my nails with a plastic tip. So I swore I would never go again because it ruined my nails and I could've done that myself. Recently my friend starting going every 3 weeks and I trust her judgment to go! At the time of the service, I enjoyed it because they moisturized and massaged me. When i walked out there was alot of gel on my finger tips that they cured so i couldnt take it off without picking at my skin over and over, i didnt make it a big deal bc I and had already walked out after tipping generously. The next day I left for vacation and my feet started to feel very sensitive. The gel from my hands started lifting and easily PEELING off at least 6 fingers within 3 days. I finally noticed on day 2 I had an INFECTION which lasted for a week. The first 2 days I let slide, then the 3rd most painful day I called. They told me they can talk to me about a refund when I got there. Right as a got home from vacation I made the visit a priority since i stayed out of the country for 2 weeks which gave it time to heal but costed half of my vacation time in pain. They REFUSED service to me even with photos and having a conversation with them about it offering a free service and refund over the phone earlier that week so it was unnecessary for them to even ask me to come in knowing their answer. Moral of the story support independent nail techs that dont have constant traffic coming in, they are most likely to put all their attention to you and perform quality service instead of taking short cuts that result in unsanitary conditions. read more

I live in Brentwood but come to CV for work or to meet with friends. I havent been to Mimis in over 7 years and ran into her getting lunch and she remembered me! We chatted about getting my nails done again since I haven't done them for almost a year due to COVID. I've been in twice and am so happy got a great new set and fill a few weeks later. Also got a pedi and the fill and pedi were done perfectly under an hour. So happy. They all wear masks and are super accommodating. Go get your nails done! read more

I don't get manicures regularly so I didn't realize the man doing my nails was butchering them until it was too late. Basically, he used the machine for gel removal/nail buffing to completely annihilate my nails and cuticles; instead of using cuticle softener or soaking my hands in warm water, he went straight in with the machine and essentially drilled everything off. The surface of all of my nails is now ruined, and I have cut up cuticles that are bleeding and aching. I went home and put Neosporin and band-aids on all of my fingers. I can't stress enough that none of these fingers had hangnails or anything that would warrant roughness/leave them this red and bloody. Multiple staff members saw the blood and did not offer any kind of discount - they did put some rubbing alcohol on two of the fingers, but it didn't feel like enough to mitigate infection risk.

I got no special design or any rhinestone I didn't get a copy of my receipt but I swear they must of charge a service fee for tip or tax. Now I got to spend more money on another place to fix because you know I'm not going come back for a $10 per nail fix because you know they wont fix for free having it be only 3 days. Sorry that is the main reason why I need my pedicure is to remove my ingrown. I'm highly disappointed and I'm not coming back. I don't want to cause any scenes because at the end of the day they are working hard in their job.

Before going to Mimi's, I'd go to a salon and ask for glitter tipped nails and they'd try and paint them on me instead of using acrylics. Or, they'd take 90 minutes to do a full set. Or they'd be crooked, or fall off within a day or two. After trying about six local salons with disasterous results, I was about to never get my nails done professionally again. And then I tried Mimi... First off, she took me immediately, without an appointment. SHE did - the owner. And every time I've returned, she's done the same. It makes me feel special and I dig it. Second, the woman is faster than fast could be fast! I've read some people complain about that in their reviews, but it's one of my very favorite things about her! She can give me a full set of acrylic nails with glittery tips in 30 minutes!!! That's three minutes a finger! Honestly, I can't imagine why that wouldn't rank as the most important thing about her to everyone, but to each their own, I guess. Thirdly, the nails she puts on me look like a million bucks. I get compliments on them ALL the time. Never got any compliments on my nails when they were done at those other lame salons - that's fer sure. Fourthly, the nails she puts on me STICK. I can wear them for three weeks sometimes before the first one breaks off. That's an impressive improvement over 24 hours. SO, when it comes to getting a full set of nails, I'll ONLY go to Mimi. Not any of her workers, only Mimi. True, her personality is a bit brusque and she charges a little more than the other places I've been, but as far as I'm concerned, she's worth it. I went to this place twice. First time the experience was ok, the staff was not to friendly but were extremely quick and efficient. I usually get a simple manicure (just shape and polish literally since they're my natural nails) and a pedicure once a month (but wasn't getting one this time). I came in and was told 30 minutes wait time so I said ok and decided to wait. I figured 30 min for wait and 30 for the manicure is an hour and not too bad. Not until the 30 minutes were up and one lady came in way after me and went on ahead of me, then more time passes another girl comes in and the same happens. When the owner saw a look on my face, she said oh she had an appt. Ok well maybe she did have an appt but I was told 30 minute wait time and at this point it was 45 min wait . And worse of all, all this time I was completely ignored! For some reason I seem to think that it had a lot to do with the fact that my manicure costs $15 and the other two ladies who came in after me had both manicure and pedicures done, which may be the reason they were offered the service and seat before. Finally I had enough of the ignored wait, so I stood up said thank you and left! She (the owner) tried saying something, I simply walked out and will not come back. I was ignored the entire time and then she had something to say after I had enough of wait for 50 minutes! I usually have my nails done in Alameda every time I am close by. I've had them done there for years, and came to realize if this is what it is, I am willing to drive to Alameda. read more

The owner who sits at the first cube,really has a problem with black women. It's really sad because the way she treats some clients. She's racist, rude, crude, and mean! The way Asians have had so many hate crimes and issue, and has the nerve to do the same toward people who patronize her business! I've lived in this area for the past 30 years and has never been treated the disrespect that I've endured from her. One day she's going to come across the wrong person and end up on tic tok and won't have her business at all! Hhhhhhmmm 2009, they have MUCH BETTER programs then Mimi's memory. I wanted to like this place, it was by far the cleanest looking of the nail shops in Castro Valley and the girls were nice. However, I really miss the days when I paid $18 for a pedicure that actually lasted more than a week. The massage was ok but she did minimal work on my calluses, which aren't bad at all and should be easy to get rid of. I chose a really pretty red color, but they chipped in less than a week. The ambiance of this salon is great, and I'm sure they are clean, so for that they get 2 stars. But for quality I'd have to say I'm going to keep looking, hopefully I'll find somewhere worth 5 stars in all areas! read more

I've been going here for a couple of years, but each time I walked in the owner Mimi is so rude. Always in a bad mood, doesn't smile, has attitude. I only stayed because of the lady who did my pedicures but I finally got fed up. If the owner likes you she'll treat you well, but if she doesn't then she'll be rude to you. Not right, especially when I pay good money and tip well. Treat all your customers equally and with respect. You just lost a valuable customer because you can't clean up your attitude. This is by far the very best nail salon I have ever experienced. Excellence, cleanliness and quality are what you get continuously. It is upsetting to see negative comments about Mimi. She is a funny, but professional person and everyone in the shop is also very professional. They use the highest quality products available. The prices are reasonable. I have gotten 100's of acrylic sets and i even practice acrylic myself. they must use mma monomer because throughout the process my nails were BURNING and i mean literally like eye squinting pain. MMA monomer is ILLEGAL in the united states but it is more common in nail salons than you thjnk. I think that the design was perfect but even several days after my nails were sore. read more

I have been a client of mimis' for several years, she and her staff will always treat you with respect and kindness. This is the best place in Castro Valley to get your nails done. Mimi and her staff, especially Lisa are always ready to help you. My nails always look amazing, I am always getting compliments on them. I used to go to Anna's, but the first time I went to Mimi's I fell in love with it. The new place is amazing- it feels as if you are in a high scale salon- well you technically are, but the prices aren't high scale. It is amazing. If you go to Anna Nails, be open minded and go to Mimi's ONCE. You'll NEVER go back to Anna's. read more

I've been going to Mimi Nails for years -and I don't ever go anywhere else! Mimi does a great job on acrylic/gel nails, and I even got gel color this time. LOVE IT!!!! Pedicures are great too - last a long time and the price is acceptable for the quality of the work, the added leg massage and the nice, clean atmosphere. read more

I haven't been to this place for a decade and did a walk in this past Friday. Unfortunately, this is the same experience I had a decade ago. Horrible customer service, rude, condescending, laughing and snickering, and talking to each other, looking down on me, etc. Truly unbelievable. read more

Not friendly at all. All my nails started lifting 3 days after I went there and I saw the owner Mimi. She is so rude and continues to charge me different prices even though I get the same thing done every 2 weeks. read more

I had a manicure and pedicure. $33. They did a great job. Everyone was polite, the place was really busy but very clean. They prefer cash but do except credit cards. Bring cash for tips. Will be back. read more

I showed the design I had in mind & they were happy to make it happen. I chose a tiger strip design on a clear orange color with gem stones on my ring and thumb finger. I was getting my nails done for edc Las Vegas and tried a new salon that's local here in San Leandro and I'm soooo happy with how my nails came out! They are gorgeous and they were great with guiding me on design or style and color too. It was very busy for a Monday and everyone seemed pleased inside, we were happy to have came today and get our manicure and pedicure services done. They are also very fast, I was impressed! Will be coming back, there is plenty of parking in the lot & a nice nail salon with plenty of options to Choose from.
