Ive been going here for like the last 10 years... though sometimes i take a break for my nail's wellness sake. I want to give them time to breathe and rest from all the acrylics, gels and paints. So I would say that I go to this place about 6-8 times a year. Every visit will last me about 3-4 weeks for a gel acrylics and sometimes I even use a regular nailpolish to paint over it so I can extend couple more weeks hahaha! I love these guys cause the owners are siblings. If I remember it right...Yvet is their oldest?... then i just know there's Philip and Susan and then is it Jim?... uhmm ohmygod im so bad w names so sorry guys! Pls forgive me! It's very rare that you get along with your family when it comes tolol !!! Yeah, I live only one block away from here so it's so fast and easy to get there. There's ample parking. The service is really good. Quick and fast. Also if you need waxing services too, Yvet does it. I get my eyebrows and underarm done here after I get my nails done. Horrible - DO NOT GO. The lady who did my manicure cut my finger deeply and wanted me to continue soaking my bleeding finger in the soap water - which I said no. I kept asking for the clear liquid that would stop the bleeding immediately but she wouldn't listen. Finally one last push, after she's done cutting all my nails, she attends to my bleeding finger and provided this white paste and told me it's fine. No, it is not fine and the injury should've been taken of immediately. I just left without getting my nails colored. Would not recommend going. It's been 2 days now and my would is still very deep and not healing. read more

I'll be totally honest, I didn't think that I was going to ever have a bad experience at a nail salon especially for something so basic and simple like a manicure/pedicure. I went in for a pedicure and let me just say overall it was not good. It was so fast that no cleaning was done on my toes. A small nail cut and a little nail filer and that was it ! I swear to you the massage was longer than the pedicure. The people are nice so I will say that but no toe nail cleaning, no cuticle cleaning (no detailing). Absolutely nothing. I was so sad. I wanted to like this place. The workers were nice. The lighting is really dim. I got a full set and a gel pedicure. The rag she used was really stained, so kinda gross but I tried to look past it. My nails were severely misshaped. I actually drove to another nail salon to reshape my nails. But guys... check out my toes. :( I really wanted to treat myself, but now I'm just sad. I have another appointment to fix my toes on Saturday, but at the same place that fixed my nails. And just FYI, I just got these toes done like 2 hours ago. I tipped well cause from the dim lighting, it didn't look bad but when I got into my car, I was horrified. Unfortunately, I won't be back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I never leave reviews but this one is warranted. I got a manicure about 10 days ago & the same day saw some small swelling on my finger, didn't think it was a cause for concern but less than a week later my entire nail bed & fingertip was swollen, come to find out from the doctor I was infected with staph bacteria! So pretty much I went in for a manicure & also got paronychia which is extremely painful to remove & has cost me HUNDREDS of dollars in medical bills so far! It's not even healed yet so I'm still hoping for the best but PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE THIS PLACE IS VERY DIRTY AND YOU RUN A VERY HIGH RISK!!! I got a full set done with an alleged American manicure. I didn't know how much it was going to cost before I started, but I guess I got what I paid for. Lots of nice stars here on Yelp, but it turns out this place is low price and shoddy work. The guy applied a slightly sloppy edge of white and a somewhat unnatural pink transparent for the nailbed, and called it done. There were filing marks all over the acrylic powder coat that 1 thin coat of polish wasn't going to hide; they looked nearly matte. I asked if he wasn't going to put on another coat and he verbally pushed me out the door, remarking to his next customer in a way that implied I was ignorant about this type of manicure. I've had my nails professionally done about 10 times and *never* have I left with less than 3 coats of polish. American may be a natural *color* (which these guys still failed to do) but they should still have a glossy finish! Edit: went to a salon in Newark (De Paris) and got the American manicure I wanted. A natural nailbed color, and so so shiny. The guy at Supernails has no idea what he's doing. read more

There are only 4 people working at this store and guess what? They're siblings! The cutest ever, right?! The bosslady is the oldest one out of them (but they have a few more siblings who don't work there) and then there's her sister and two brothers. All working together under one roof :) I've been here twice in one month and that's a lot for me, considering the fact that I pay for manicures once a year. LOL. Van hooks it up with quality acrylic manicures each time. And they last for a long time too! She is so personable because she will take the time to get to know you and make conversation while doing your nails. I came here on a whim to get my nails and toes done just before a wedding. They are super friendly and nice. I didn't have an appointment but they took such great care of me still. Don't get me wrong, they accept walk-ins but I literally showed up about 2 hours before we had to leave. Steve did such a great job on my gel mani. And his sister Van had my stained blue toe nails looking super cute in my yellow polish. Plus... I ran into an old friend from 20+ years ago, who said she's been going there since before I knew her. And now she comes here from Antioch just to get taken care of by them. That was just more assurance that I was in the right spot. read more

Superdirty. Crowded, poorly ventilated nail shop. Unhealthy practices to include dirty tools and supplies. The nail tech literally used foil from what looked like what they used to cover their lunch to foil my gel nails. It was disgusting, I could see food particles on the foil! The towels they have laid out on the table seem to never been changed. There are clippings, nail polish and who knows what. I really don't know why I stayed. But in the end the paint job was decent. This review is for the gel mani I received today, 04/21/2018. The positive: my nail technician was friendly. The negatives: 1) My nail tech says "show me your nails" and gestures to the dirty towel laid out in front of me. How did I know it was dirty? There were old NAIL CLIPPINGS embedded in the towel. I hover my hands over the towel and I think she noticed the look on my face. She takes the towel, shakes the clippings onto the floor and folds the towel before setting it back down in front of me. 2) She proceeds to use the electric buffer to buff the gel polish off my nails. Okay.. I figure she's just exposing the top layer before applying foils. Turns out, I was wrong. She buffed and buffed, no foil. My nails are now paper thin. 3) The UV machine she asked me to stick my fingers in was malfunctioning and it felt like my fingers were burning. Apparently she knew this machine was broken but she didn't bother to use a different machine. Mind you, there was only one other person in the salon at the time and this person was receiving a pedi. Could it be that they only have ONE (malfunctioning) UV unit?? 4) There are visible bubbles in my polish job and she cut one of my fingers during the cleaning of my cuticles. Only my cuticles aren't clean, she left me with a bunch of hangnails. I'm seriously debating whether or not I should report this salon to the health department. read more
