Also, Michelle deserves a huge thank you for introducing me to buildable gel. After trying both regular gel and dip over the years, I'm officially converted! This was my first time here but my SILs come here all the time and recommended this salon after I told them about a recent experience I had at a different nail salon. I worked with a consistent nail tech in Vegas but now that I've moved back to Cali... I was on the hunt for my go to salon/tech Kim was really informative - telling me about the different types of gel. I'm a bit new to gel nails and appreciated the information and suggestions she gave me. She also gave her opinion on what colors would look best to mimic the design I had showed her. I'm so disappointed by my last visit here. I've been coming to white heaven for several years when I want to get a pedicure. I specifically booked Hannah as I had a good experience last time. I went today and got the basic pedicure and she barely did an massage was basically patting my skin, didn't remove almost any of the oil she applied and when she half wiped with a dry towel it left a large black hair on my leg. My friend recently came and saw another worker using a file on herself and then saw her turn and use it on a client! I won't be returning, not worth the price. read more

They took my sister first while starting my manicure, which we really appreciated. The staff worked quickly and efficiently without feeling rushed, and the quality of the work was excellent--our nails turned out beautiful. Prices were very reasonable for the service and results. The salon itself is large, with many chairs and nail stations, and it's fully stocked with an impressive variety of products, colors, styles, and techniques. They prefer cash, and there is a fee for credit card use, but tipping is convenient since you can tip all the manicurists via Venmo. Parking can be a bit tight, especially near the Baskin-Robbins in front of the Castro Valley shopping center where Safeway is located. Her name is Snow and she takes care of my waxing and my nail care. I have been going here for over a year now and I don't live in the area. So I have to go out of my way to come here. That's how worth it it is. The pricing is very affordable! I would recommend everyone come here. It's always busy, and it seems that everyone is happy. Inside its super cute and trendy and has a nice vibe. While they have many techs, my go to is Snow. Please stop by and show them love. They stay open until 7 PM. He clipped so much skin off the sides of my fingers, I was worried he was going to draw blood each time. He finished my gel nail appt in 20 minutes...that's including removal of my existing gel polish. I don't think I've ever had such a short appt and felt so rushed to get in and get out so they could take the next customer. The nails were fine, though they only had my nails sit under the UV for very short periods of time before switching to the other hand...I'll be surprised if the gel stays on. Kobe has been doing my nails consistently now for over a year and he does amazing work! He makes my acrylic nails look natural and does it in a timely manner.
