I've been going to Sydney for over 2 years and I absolutely love her work. She is professional, super sweet and does an amazing job sugaring. Her shop is also super clean and comfortable! Sydney offers a range of great services and is extremely passionate about her craft! I was nervous to start sugaring when I first came to see her, but she quickly put me at ease and has become a consistent self care day for me. Bonus: you'll love getting to know Sydney beyond the sugaring! She has great recommendations for anything from places to visit, to movies, and beyond. Come visit her asap!! read more

I've been seeing Sydney for a couple years now and wouldn't want to go anywhere else! She's so knowledgeable and efficient with her work, half the time I can't believe the appointment is already over. The first time I booked with Sydney I had never had a sugaring service before. She took the time to explain each step and what she was doing, which I greatly appreciated. I also don't have the greatest pain tolerance, but I always get distracted by Sydney's funny stories. I'm lucky enough to live nearby, but would be willing to make a drive to see her if I lived out of town. That proves just how good she is and I can't recommend her enough! read more

Sydney is an exceptional esthetician who is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. I was a little hesitant to try sugaring after getting hard-wax Brazilians for years, but she immediately put me at ease. She thoroughly explained the entire process, the benefits of sugaring, and the importance of proper aftercare to help me get the best possible results. To my surprise, sugaring was significantly less painful than traditional waxing, and the results lasted much longer than I expected with minimal regrowth. I can confidently say I'm a client for life! Her location is conveniently located with plenty of parking. The treatment room is beautifully decorated and feels just as warm and welcoming as Sydney herself. Her website and online booking system are easy to navigate, with clear descriptions of each service, making scheduling simple and stress-free. On top of that, her pricing is very reasonable, and she frequently offers fantastic specials. I highly recommend Sydney to anyone considering sugaring or looking for a skilled, professional esthetician. read more

I just had my second service with Sydney recently. My first one was over 6 years ago, and I had just moved back to the area. I was impressed that she remembered me, as I remember her warmth and friendliness. I appreciate how her website is very detailed, informative, and straightforward. Waxing isn't the most pleasant experience, especially for someone like me with a lower pain tolerance, but I would highly recommend Sydney's services any time as results as pretty long-lasting. read more

Sydney is an incredible sugarist! She's thorough, professional, and truly cares about her clients. She gets to know your skin and customizes clients' brazilians to ensure it's safe. I have extremely sensitive skin and she does her research before trying any new products on me. She doesn't rush at all, but somehow gets the cleanest brazilian completed in less than 20 minutes. I went to someone before her and it was a fine experience, but going to Sydney made me realize how exceptional she truly is. She explains everything in depth and makes you feel calm and comfortable having your legs spread open. You can tell how much time, energy, and thought she's put into curating her craft to fit her clients' needs. Highly recommend!! read more

Sydney is quite literally the best in the biz! Throughout the 5+ years I have been getting my Brazilians done by her, she has always maintained a safe space and educated me on how to care for my skin :) Sydney has always been excellent in communication and respects/values our time which is another reason why you should book with her!! you won't regret it! read more

I have been coming to Sydney for years now. She knows what she is doing. I used to dread the pain from a Brazilian but on her table I'm relaxed. I show up prepared just as she recommended, lay down, we chat, and before I know it it's over. She knows how to make you feel comfortable. Sydney is knowledgeable about that products and services she provides and gives recommendations tailored to you. I make my appointments online and it's simple. The cancellation policy is reasonable and you even get appointment reminders in the days leading up to the appointment. Check out her Insta and you will see this girl knows her sh*t!! read more

I've known and been going to Sydney for about 6 years now. There's a reason why she's my go-to esthetician, she's not only welcoming and friendly, but she's also passionate and educational. She makes everything so easy. I'm no longer self-conscious around her, no matter the service and I know I can ask her for any kind of advice and get the best response. Plus her place is super clean! She's the absolute best! read more

Hands down the best and easiest Brazilian experience. I've been getting waxed/sugared for five years now and out of all of my estheticians Sydney has been my favorite person to work with. She not only works quickly but also curates a really friendly, safe experience. The space itself also feels really clean and welcoming, it's a little studio in a larger building. Parking is always super easy, which is a huge plus. read more

Sydney is absolutely amazing. Very fast and makes you feel comfortable. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

If you're struggling to find a great waxer Sydney Esthetics it's the place to be! Sydney is great with attention to detail! Super sanitary, great products, and convos! I absolutely love Sydney's sugar waxing and Brazilian facials are a must! Thanks Sydney for the 7 years and counting! You're the best! read more

I just had my first appointment with her and absolutely love her! I found her on IG. I highly recommend visiting and following her. It's beautifully put together. You'll find FAQ, skin tips, facts about sugaring...basically all the things you need to know to get started with sugaring. The whole process was quick and easy. I texted her my availability, we worked together to book a time. I received a 24 hour reminder/FAQ link text and a text on where to park and how to find the studio. (For someone like me who is directionally challenge, that was soooo helpful!) I went in, got a Brazilian and was done in under 30mins. It's definitely less painful and cleaner than waxing. She made me comfortable and made the whole experience transparent and to be honest "pain-less". Support small businesses and give Sydney a shot! I already booked my next appointment :) read more

Sydney is amazing! I was getting my brazilian with her for years until we moved. The procedure is quick, painless (well, it is not eating a cake, but it is as painless as it can be ). She is using high quality products. And she is just a sweet girl. Miss you, Sydney. read more

Sydney's very accommodating and know her trade well. She makes you feel comfortable and gives you all the information you need to have a successful sugaring experience. Because I didn't read the reviews first, it was a little hard to find her office. There was no signage on the exterior door upstairs, so I wasn't sure if I was in the right place. But I'm sure glad I was in capable hands with Sydney. You can rest assured to have a safe, sanitary waxing or sugaring procedure. Check our her instagram for more pictures and details! read more

I had my first full Brazilian wax with Sydney today using the sugar wax method and I am a fully satisfied customer. Sydney is highly professional yet personable. She is very sweet and made me feel comfortable and championed. I don't want to see anyone else for the rest of my life. This was only my second Brazilian wax ever, the first time being at the European Wax Center. My experience at EWC left me disappointed, in pain, and scared I might develop an infection because of how my skin reacted. I wanted to try sugar waxing being that it is a better method for those with sensitive skin and I'm so grateful I found Sydney. Sydney will take care of you and it is evident she absolutely loves her job and cares for her clients. If you want to try sugar wax, do it with Sydney! She is amazing!! read more

After years and years, I finally got the courage to do a Brazilian!! At first I was just thinking of the regular Brazilian wax, but Sydney also does sugaring - Omgsh, after being told it was organic, cruelty-free, and does less damage than waxing; I was all in!! We first started chatting through Instagram. I told her how nervous I was and she was kind to inform me of exactly what she does and ensures you that you're in good hands...so that's when I took the leap to schedule, 3 weeks out, since I had just shaved. - Today marked 3 weeks - I follow the directions on her website (*very useful*), because GPS takes you there but it's in a small parking lot and upstairs. Sydney was super sweet the second I got to the door!! She asked me to fill out a new client form, which only took about 5 minutes. Then she let me get ready by myself until I was comfortable. She was so gentle, considerate of my emotions lol, and talked me through the steps. It was NOT as bad as I anticipated it to be hahaha.... I already scheduled my 2nd appointment! Sydney was such a doll! Great service! read more

I have been seeing Sydney for 6 consecutive Sugar Wax Brazilians paired with the VagFacial. She is professional and makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. My hair is growing slower and thinner. AND my skin feels and looks healthy. I know it can be scary to get sugar waxed for the first time, and I am so happy I found this girl in Castro Valley! She is quick, but does not compromise quality, care, or professionalism. She is worth it! read more

I went to Sydney for my first Brazilian sugar today! I was so nervous but she made me feel so comfortable and welcome. She walked me through the process and talked to me to distract me from the pain. Found this place when I was in need of a new wax place and I actually like it. SERVICE- It's hard to find someone who's fast and thorough and Sydney is the one. She is pretty talkative and makes you feel comfortable and has a pretty cool personality. SUGAR OR WAX?? I did sugaring today and I think my hairs weren't cooperating with it though since she was having a hard time getting my hairs out so I think I'll get the wax next time. LOCATION: She's upstairs suite 202. Her place is pretty small. There's just a curtain covering you from the waiting area and she amps up the AC. read more

Sydney is amazing! Her studio is so cute and cozy. I got my eyebrows waxed and a facial today First she did my eyebrows, which were finished damned near painlessly. Then she started my facial and we talked about my current skin care routine, and how I can change it for the better. I was incredibly comfortable talking to her about my concerns with certain products and was able to answer all my skin care questions! Also, extractions are my favorite part! Hope I get a chance to go back to visit her again! read more

I had never tried sugaring before and I am on my third appointment with Sydney. Great customer service, outgoing and gets you out of their quick. For me sugaring is less painful than waxing. It's a must try and ull be satisfied and if you don't like the sugaring, she does waxing as well. Perfect duo. read more

Look no further. Sydney is literally the best esthetician, hands down. She is quick, professional, friendly, and great at all hair removal, facials, anything you need. Her suite is always impeccably clean, and she is always timely. I feel great after each and every appointment, no matter what I'm having done. This was my first experience with any type of waxing! After lots of research and putting it off, I decided to go with Sydney due to her offering sugar Wax. I'm so glad with making the decision I made by choosing Sydney and sugaring! Sugaring is just so much more better in general than typical waxing. She made sure to assure me and made me feel extremely comfortable. She's such a great vibe! I'm never going back to shaving! read more

Sydney is *consistent, friendly and reasonably priced. I've been a client for over a year now and she never disappoints, I love that her salon is discreet and on a one-client at a time basis so that she can give her full attention to the task at hand. Sydney has been really professional, friendly and efficient. I used to go to another Sugaring esthetician in the area and let's just say, I'm super happy that Sydney has moved into Hayward. Would definitely recommend. She's quick, does a good job, fair prices and never cancels last minute. read more

Super super super happy that sugaring was my first experience for a Brazilian! Everything was great about it especially Sydney herself , who was very nice and comforting as it was my first time ! Definitely will be coming back and referring my friends here (: read more

I have been going to Sydney for almost a year now (started April 2019) for a brazilian w/ sugar and let me tell youuuuu I won't be going to back to shaving anytime soon! A coworker of mine had been telling me great things about her sugaring experiences but I had always been hesitant because I've never had anything waxed before in my life and was never planning on it. She showed me before and after pics of her hair going from thick and coarse to thin and fine all because of sugaring, I was sold!! I've never had real thick hair in my brazilian area, but after consistently going every 4-5 weeks I could definitely tell my hair has thinned out and grows back slower. For someone who can't take pain at all I would say the pain is a very bearable 6.5-7/10 (10 being the worst). Sydney always makes me feel very comfortable and not awkward, and brazilian appointments go by really quick, usually done in 20 minutes for a maintenance brazilian. Booking an appointment is very easy, either through text or IG dms. Shes very knowledgable about what she does and is very professional! She always ready to give skincare advice when needed (also when not needed, she just loves to talk about it hahaha). read more

I was hesitant for many reasons but I am so happy I found Sydney! I've had bad experiences at another waxing place (yes, you know which one I'm talking about) so I was very very hesitant on trying waxing out again. However, when I was on Sydney's Instagram page, I read about the benefits of sugaring vs hard wax and thought I'd give that a try instead. I went in for my first appointment for a Full Brazilian Sugar and Sydney made me feel so comfortable. The pain is definitely tolerable and sugar is so much easier on the skin, in my opinion. I went for my maintenance appointment some weeks later, and the pain level had decreased from my first appointment so I was excited about that and am looking forward to keep coming back! Thanks so much Sydney. I literally cannot ever imagine going back to shaving, or getting sugared else where. You're the best! read more

I have been seeing Sydney now for what I believe is 3 years! I recently had a baby in December and saw her for a Brazilian sugar and Brazilian facial the night before I was to get induced. You would think being 39 weeks pregnant it would hurt, but it didn't and of course she works super fast and efficient to minimize pain. Fast forward 7 months later I finally caught some time to go see her again for a full leg wax, lip wax, armpit sugar, and Brazilian sugar/facial. When I tell you after 7 months this Brazilian had ZERO pain I'm being serious I was shocked and all of the services ONLY took 1 hour! It was super fast and my hair removal looks great and I feel great especially after having a baby! If you need fast and GREAT service go see Sydney. Don't worry moms you won't be gone long from the baby and we all deserve a little break to help us feel human and sexy again. read more

So glad I met and know Sydney! I just happened to find her page on Instagram and followed her. After I entered a contest for a complimentary wax and won I met her. We got along instantly as we are both female business owners and work down the street from each other. I have been going to her since and can't begin to tell you how satisfied I am. I'm a personal trainer who wears workout clothes 24/7. In the past when I did non sugar waxing l would itch and get razor burn patches. Sydney is gentle and I'm very comfortable with her. Her spot is small and very clean. Ladies I really recommend going to her! read more

This was my third time coming to Sydney for a sugaring service (2 Brazilians and 1 full arm) and let me tell you that this woman works QUICK, CLEAN, and damn near PAINLESS. I would seriously let her sugar my whole entire body because the results are SILKY SMOOTH and lasts for weeks. I could honestly go on and on about how good she is but I'll let you guys find out for yourself. Treat yourself to a sugaring service with Sydney you will NOT be mad that you did! Oh and did I mention she has a kick ass personality?! read more

Sydney's Esthetics is INCREDIBLE! I've been going to Sydney for 6 months now to get sugared and I can't imagine going anywhere else. SYDNEY IS PHENOMENAL with making you feel comfortable, answering any questions or concerns you have, and leaving you feeling beautiful and smelling wonderful with the aftercare skin products she pampers you with. She is a riveting conversationalist with genuine kindness and competitive pricing! In terms of sugaring, it is my experience that sugaring is more effective, less painful, more eco-friendly, and better for the skin than waxing. I'm always so ECSTATIC TO SEE FEWER HAIRS GROW BACK after each visit! So long as I live in the Bay Area, I'M ONLY GOING TO SYDNEY! read more
