I have given them two chances. The first time, I made a phone appointment , I had never been there before and it was raining out. I parked my car and I walked around the building in the pouring rain, in sandals ,because I didn't know where the salon was. There was a man smoking a cigarette outside. It turns out that the nail salon was where he was working, he did not say hello or anything or try to help me find the salon even though I had an appointment and he could see me walking around in the rain.. I was the only customer in the salon. He did an okay job on my nails-a full set, GELX , but he rough with me and rushed even though I was the only one in the salon . I also got a pedicure that was good. However, one hand of my GEL X nails was longer than the other and pointed it out to him before I left. He said, " when you come back I will fix it ": I tipped them both, $15 . I waited an entire month for my nails to grow out so that they could even them off next time I went i ln. Today, I went in again after a month, I made a phone appointment. I got a gel X fill, I asked him if I could get French manicure and he said no , I also explained to him that I grew out my nails because one side was longer and if I could keep the longer nails instead of cutting them short. I guess he didn't understand. . While I was getting a pedicure instead of doing my nails at the same time, even though I had made an appointment days before, he took someone that walked in instead of me, so when he finally got to my nails he was in a rush and did them in a hurry again and instead of keeping my request of keeping the length he cut them down short , he was also on his phone the whole time speaking in his language. . I tipped them $10 each, the male technician did not thank you or goodbye when I left I guess he was insulted with the low tip. Well, if you're not going to listen to me and you're going to Rush even though I made an appointment and treat me like crap I'm not going tip you more than $10, with his attitude he's lucky that he even got a tip. The male nail technician is mean, he doesn't listen, refuses requests, when there is a nail salon on every corner it is not worth it and he obviously doesn't care about retaining clientele.
Today was my 5 or 6th time going there always happy with their service. Nice clean place.
Both Boy and Eden took great care of me today when I came in for an acrylic manicure and gel pedicure. Their service was professional and their art is on point. I would definitely come back for some other nail art in the future. Eden gave the best foot massage ever, I had to thank him for that. The environment itself was clean and feels new. Thanks guys!
I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars, rounding up to four. There are some definite pros and a few areas that could use improvement. First off, they were very accommodating--I called ahead, and they told me to come in right away, which was great. When I arrived, they were ready to assist me immediately. The manicure and pedicure were done gently--no cuts or discomfort--and the leg and foot massage was especially good. Whoever handled that did a great job! However, the hand massage was very brief, less than 30 seconds per arm, so that was underwhelming. Pricing seemed reasonable compared to other places: $60 for the manicure (with a 15% birthday discount; normally $70) and $45 for the pedicure, which included a scrub, mask, and massage. I appreciated the extra touches on the pedicure. The atmosphere was more businesslike than friendly. There wasn't much conversation, which is fine if you're just looking for efficient service, but it's worth noting. On the plus side, there's parking available, which is always a bonus. Overall, it's worth a try for the convenience and reasonable prices.

Eden is more than a nail tech, he's dedicated to the artistry of his craft! He took his time, ensured that all the nails were filed into the perfect almond shape and checked in with me throughout the appointment to ensure that I was happy with the shape, length and color of the nails. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I was able to do same day walk in and it was a great experience! Boy was my nail artist and did a beautiful job on my manicure. He took his time and my nails came out perfect Amy did my pedicure and she also did a great job. 10/10 would definitely come back again
Overall, I'm satisfied with what I got. I got seated right away, which was amazing. I got a pedicure with gel ($45) and a manicure with builder gel and simple design ($70). I really liked the pedicure. It was relaxing and clean. My manicure was good too. I felt like my nail tech was rushed because he had another client waiting and it reflected in mine and my cousin's manicure. Mine wasn't as clean as I liked it to be but still I am happy with how it looks. My cousin felt more disappointed. The nail tech didn't take her requests into consideration because of the time constraint which was unfortunate. It felt like he was just trying to do it as fast as he could so he can help the next person.

I can provide the picture as evidence. I never do extensive labor so I am very careful. It chipped because she didn't spend enough time on the LED cure. I placed my hand for 5 seconds and she already told me take it out. I have done my nails a lot at other places and know what top quality truly is.

Didn't rush when shaping, and this is probably the best oval/almond nails I've ever gotten. Will definitely come back to get my nails done!

I just came from Eco and wanted to leave a review about my amazing service. I actually had a nail appointment for Tiffany's Nail Lounge however I accidentally scheduled it for July 24th instead of July 17th. So I begun searching for a new nail salon that was nearby an Eco Nails popped up I called and one of the guys answered the phone and told me I could come in for a full set. The service was absolutely amazing, I got my old acrylic set taken off, received a new acrylic set and I got a gel pedicure. I did not have an appointment however I was able to be seen the same day. The guy who did my nails name was Boy. He asked me if I had a picture of the nails that I wanted, I showed him and I explained additional details. He said I will have your nails looking nice. And he told no lies. I absolutely love my nails it's exactly what I asked for I wanted my nails to have a flat top, narrow yet sqaure (no duck nails) and to be short with a French tip. And he did everything to the T.He works very fast and intentional. The guy who did my feet I completely forgot to get his name but he did everything except for the French tip. He took really good care of my feet he gave me a great massage he was very detailed in cleaning my toes, he even brought out the old school toebrush, which is a service I no longer see nail salons use anymore. So I was very happy when I saw that shop still uses the toebrush. I attached a video for you all to see what that is. I will definitely come back to this nail shop again and I highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Updated Review: Beware of faulty use of product/MMA! My nails remained on for over a month, in that time span TWO of them fully broke my nail beds. Upon coming in for removal (soak off), techs buffed my nails, and soaked repeatedly. It took soaking and buffing 3 times. I spoke up, noticing the stubbornness of the product further adding to my suspicion of MMA use. I said "I have never seem acrylic behave this way", pulled my hands away, and removed the last foil for a closer look. Despite being soaked and filed 3 times, the "acrylic" had a glue, gummy like texture. So sticky in-fact it stuck to my hands when i touched it to show the tech the clear indicator of them not using normal products. The owner (male tech) had an absolutely disgusting attitude. He said "I know you, you left me bad review. You hate me, you hate my buisness. You came back to make me mad". At this point, we get into a slight altercation as I (also a small buisness owner) was shocked at his unprofessionalism and adult tantrum he was throwing. His attitude worsened when I requested to see the bottle of monomer they used. Any ETHICAL, licensed salon would comply with no issue. Instead the owners aggression worsens, he even tells me I could get out of his salon and leave. The salon and all techs refused to show me what they use. That is a concerning reaction to me, a customer, asking to see products that will be used for a service i am paying for. I even came with a girlfriend as we have an upcoming trip. I was sincerely hoping to be wrong about their product use and have a good spa day with my friend. She also caught side strays of disrespect from the owner (yelling at her) despite it being her first time in. I was so embarrassed bringing my friend into this situation and having her sit through disrespect. Due to the owners hostility, I wanted to leave ASAP. I asked the tech to stop the soak off, and stop filing my nails as they were left BRITTLE and breaking. In despite of all of this, he still charged me $10. I paid, $10 is nothing, i guess he must really need it. The owner's attitude was concerning, he would yell at me then retract and act calm and collected. He was too focused on the fact that I had left him a previous review instead of rectifying the situation. (The way any ethical buisness owner would) After the altercation calmed and he finished with his client (yes, there were clients in store when he was denying my request of products etc) He kept trying to make casual conversation with me and educate me on "their technique" since " I am not professional" (I am NOT professional... Im studying law not nails or cosmetology..) It was such a bizarre interaction to have someone so emotionally unstable come at me that way. The technicians performing my friends service were visibly uncomfortable by their bosses behavior and denial of request. One technician looked visibly shocked and removed herself from the situation. If he feels comfortable speaking to customers the way he did, I can even imagine how he speaks to employees when issues arise. After the horrible experience, my friend and I went down the road to Glossy Nail Lounge (brand new! grand opening 6/26) and got pedicures/manicures with proper service and products Sorry Boy, you must treat ALL customers with respect, something I learned in my field of work, you never know when an inspector or board member can walk into your establishment. read more

This is one of my usual spots. It's not my first pick only because it's hard to get to with how busy E 14th St can get. Today I called my first pick and they were really busy and couldn't take me in. So I opted for Eco Nails Spa. I love Eco Nails Spa because 1) they don't rush you 2) it's tucked and hard to get to so it's not very busy in there when I go and 3) Amy was a sweetie pie today and they all usually all do a great job. I was immediately serviced upon entering and picked the Deluxe Pedicure. I usually always do a French tip but today I wanted to do a solid color and change it up. They had a good selection of OPI and DND nail swatches. And I was set on a really pretty pale pink that I know would make my new tan POP. I knew I needed a pedicure because my toenails were overgrown that it had chipped and snagged on some fabric the night before Anyway, Amy mentioned that one of my nails will be a little short because of it and I was totally okay with that, I just appreciated the communication despite the little language barrier. Halfway through she asked me how I was feeling which was really mindful because I was able to throughly relax the first half and then let her know how much I was enjoying myself because she was doing a great job taking her time with the massage part of the service. I feel like the only thing the place is lacking is some feng shui in design and vibrations. They need more healthy plants, maybe a little fountain, and better music options. If Eco Nails Spa is ever interested, I would love to extend a helping hand to help elevate the space with my natural knack at interior design. I absolutely love my nails. This will now be my go to nail salon. Not only were they fast and efficient but also kind and detail oriented. They consistently asked every step if this is what i wanted and were happy to showcase what they have available. They have a HUGE selection of dips and assorted colors. They have a whole wall dedicated to it. Il They're equipped to make their customers happy and comfortable. With massage chairs at the neck and shoulders and if you chose the massages for arms and legs with certain mani pedi, it is really delightful. They even have a cute kids chair to make them feel welcome too! The quality of their lotions are also really easy on the hands and feet. They also have great ventilation. Although appointments are recommended, if you go during the day just when they open or weekdays, you can ask for a walk in and they can accommodate without a long wait time. I can't wait to get my nails done here again soon. read more

I'm OBSESSED! I usually do my own gelx at home but decided to treat myself for an upcoming vacay. Boy is super detailed with his work. I brought in an inspo pic, and he was super patient when helping me choose the right colors and designs/placement. I'm super iffy about germs but this place was super clean and had good air circulation. They use clean or disposable tools so I felt really safe here! Give them a chance yall! They just opened recently and deserve all the love. I made an appointment through Yelp a week out, but called in day of to see if they could squeeze me in earlier and they were able to accommodate! Sooo sweet of them! All the stars! read more

I found this place thru yelp. First place to reach out to me when I was looking for a salon. When I walked in the place as empty but I did not care. I was quickly sat down. I was showed color and picked one. Very quickly the tech shot the color down saying that it was too light. I said pls try anyways. I asked for regular polish she insisted on gel polish as "it's better" she kept saying " I do for you. I do for you." I sighed and said ok. She tried the color and the color was great! She gave me a price of $105. I didn't think much of it. But I said ok. Then came time for the hands. The guy did not pull my cuticles back or take them off until after everything was already done. He did not measure my the tips, he just started gluing them on. When he asked what color I said same as my feet and he said no because it's too light. It was not. He said French tip is usually white. I said ok fine. I asked for almond and the shape was so chunky when I asked for almond. It was round. And wide. He kept going I was already annoyed. Mid set the lady hands me a paper that says the price of hands and feet. It amounted to $110. Look I'm not about to argue about $5, but where tf did this mystery $5 come from?! Again I was annoyed and wanted to leave so I payed. I left a $10 tip and left. The nails started lifting 2 days later. I was pissed. I payed $120 for my nails to lift 2 days later?! Oh hell na! Needless to say I won't be going back or recommending the place to my friends as he requested. Sorry for the long rant. I never ever leave a review but I will be dammed I waste my money like this again. read more

First of all, I waited a few days before deciding to post a review, but felt that I needed to share my experience. I am not a high maintenance type of gal but this was absolutely ridiculous. This was the WORST manicure of my entire life and I have been getting manicures done every 2 weeks for decades. I just moved here after being displaced from the Maui fires and asked for just a simple manicure with an acrylic coat over my real nails and a spa pedicure. First of all, the spa pedicure was not good at all and she put the wrong color on my toes. I believe her name was Amy, was so amateur and obviously just got her license to do nails - I had to repeatedly asked her fix my nails that were uneven & poorly shaped multiple times over. The worst part of it is that 18 hours later the gelcoat came off of my thumbnail, and then the next day later the rest of my nails peeled. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING Eco Nails. I wish them much luck in business, but they need to have more experience before they work on people. read more
