Nice pedicure chairs and clean (though I didn't see the instruments being cleaned between customers). My favorite nail place uses a sanitizer and opens a fresh set of tools each time. When we got there, we were the only ones there so we got seated immediately. This was my first time getting a nail design since I usually only do one color but I'm really glad that I did! I see now on Yelp that people usually have to book Trudy for an appointment so I feel lucky to be able to get her with a walk in. She was very precise when doing my nails and would make sure that I liked the shape and how it looked before proceeding. Got there at 5:02 and Trudy was with someone else Waited 1 hour and They started on my pedicure at 6. Another girl showed up for her appointment with Trudy at 6 and was taken before me. Please note that I'm giving 2 stars to my recent nails, and to the lady that did them. I know Trudy would never leave my hands like this. Since she wasn't available due to personal reasons, I decided to take a chance on a different person. Which was a huge mistake. I love Trudy and her work, and thought the rest of her staff would be on the same level. Well that was not the case. I didn't get her name but she was not careful filing down the nails and left HUGE CUTS on my cuticles. They burned, and started bleeding. She said sorry but continued to file some more. First and foremost, I'm giving them a one star because the front desk lady (im guessing shes the owner) was rude and spoke behind our backs in Vietnamese before even starting to work on our nails. She called us qu cái to one of the other nail technician there not realizing my sister and I are Vietnamese (I'm assuming she think we were Chinese as we spoke in English). The Vietnamese term if I was to straight translate it mean something like ghost girls, but if you were Vietnamese you know it's like equalivant to calling us bitches (that we were annoying, and that we are bothersome and asking for too much. I ignored it when she called us it once when we were asking about some of the option costs. My sister didn't realize that only two tables were working and that we couldn't sit together to do our nails as they didnt tell us, so she had politely asked if we could sit together after they seated us at opposite ends while we were the only two customers there for nails. That was when the same lady called us qu cái again for being troublesome. I have never went to any nail place who had bad mouth customers straight in front of their face. So be careful, they could be talking crap about you while servicing you. They are fairly new but their equipments weren't working. Honestly there are so many great nail salon options to choose from in the area who are in the business for a longer time and know how to treat their customers with coustesy, why waste your money going to a place where they don't even have the decency to respect their customers. read more

Let me start by saying I was a licensed manicurist for many years so I am a bit tough! The good: Massage chairs are nice Nice selection of polish. I got basic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was fine. Nothing spectacular. Very little scrubbing of my dry areas. My issues is my manicure. I left with skin still peeling up and uncut. There was no massage or application of lotion or oil. My hands were dry and ashy when I left. The polish application was bad. The first coat of polish was not all the way to my cuticles so when finished you could see an obvious mark... and color difference. The top coat was applied in a quick and unthoughtful way. I wanted to like this place but left upset and left to go back and fix their bad work. I was also very upset for others in the salon. 2 women came for a specific service only to be told they couldn't do it. I felt bad because they were also told 15 minutes and waited an hour. One of the women changed her service all together. Another woman was having a take off service and keep complaining it hurt only for the tech to say yeah and giggle. I will not be returning. First she painted the gel wrong, they peeled right off and had to redo them. Then she was supposed to do ombre nails and she didnt put the correct powder and started painting them purple. I told her i did not want that. So she told me ok we will remove them and do the ombre powder. I sat for 2 hours letting my nails soak to remove the acrylic. When it was time to do it she had someone else tell me they didnt have the powder to do it! They could've told me before they took it off!!
