On my first visit to the LA Spa Nails, the glue used for attaching the diamonds stuck onto my skin, and by the next day some of them had already fallen off. When I went back, the owner was very kind and redid them for me, and they looked really pretty. Unfortunately, by the following day the diamonds starting falling off again. Also, when the man helped me with my pedicure, he cut too deeply, which made my toe hurt for two or three days. While I do love my nails I don't like when people bait and switch their prices. I asked for the signature pedicure and she charged me for the deluxe. My nails I originally asked for a powder ombré but didn't like the color choices they had so I went with a gel polish instead. She still charged me for the powder ombré set. Then one of the ladies in the back start yelling in their language. Then a minute later Ruby comes down stairs, seats me, brings me colors, & gets to work on my nails. From the shape to the color to the process she did flawless. It was a little pricey $41. Given I walked in with 2 broken nails & got a gel fill. Plus the stupid $1 card charge. I should've used cash. I've been coming here for over 5 years, everytime I come they always give me a warm welcome and sit me down right away, they always finish my nails flawlessly. Only once my nails came out ugly, I went back a couple days later, I didn't have time to go right away cause of work. The owner Anna saw how ugly my nails were. So she offered me a whole new set with new color done by her for FREE, came out perfect. Plus whenever I get my brows waxed here they ALWAYS come out amazing! I took my 11 year old daughter to this nail salon to get her short acrylics removed. We didn't ask for anything other than acrylics removal. My daughter had the acrylics on for a while so it should've been fairly easy to remove. The woman removing her acrylics was rushing through it and I can tell my daughter was uncomfortable during the process as if she was in pain. When the lady was almost done, she removed the last nail and tore off the skin on my daughters thumb. Her nail started bleeding and my daughter started to cry and was upset. I told the lady doing her nails not to touch her and she was still continuing to do her nails. I tried very hard not to cause a huge scene and asked to speak with the manager. The manager was apparently upstairs and never came down to discuss the issue. I was very upset and we walked out without paying and will never return. Excellent pedicures. Based on lackluster reviews in manicured, I decided to pass on manis. I walked in without an appointment at 4PM, was greeted immediately and they told me there will be a 15 mins wait. After 10-minutes, I was seated @ a spa pedicure station. The gentleman took great care of me and provided great service and a great pedicure. He gave me a menu of options for pedi's and I opted for the $39 with a wax treatment.... sooo good! Will definitely be back. PS - please bring cash as La Spa charges a 3-4% surcharge for credit card payments. I normally pay cash anyway so this doesn't bother me much but I can see how this will really annoy me if I need to pay cash. read more

My one exception is if someone is blatantly rude to me or, like in this case, yells and chases me! Today I called to make an appointment with Harley and confirmed twice that she would be in on this call. When I called again later in the afternoon to confirm they told me she was not working today. I was annoyed but still needed my nails done and assumed it would be fine. I was paired with someone who was either very inexperienced or just clueless! She nicked my fingers THREE TIMES before I finally told myself, okay if she does it again I need to get out of here. Sure enough, she nicks my finger a fourth time! I said thank you but this is silly, I am going to go now. I gathered my things and one of the ladies there started yelling at me sit down! NO SIT DOWN! Literally yelling at me!! So I quickly walked out and she literally CHASED ME to the parking lot yelling at me to come back! I finally turned around and said you're making a scene and you're making a fool of yourself! I quickly got in my car and felt so horrified and in total disbelief that just happened! I pretty much never have anyone straight up yelling at me and it was shocking! I am sorry Harley but your team is dragging your good name down! You lost a good client today because your coworkers are liars, conned me into coming by saying you were there and were extremely aggressive when I tried to leave! This five star review is now a one. Unfortunately for this nail shop I am a licensed Manicurist and I know the sanitation rules here......before I get into that though - BEWARE if you use your "check card" to pay they CANNOT charge you that crazy surcharge of $2. The words "credit card" are key here, if you use a credit card they can only charge a max of 2-3% of the sale anyway. I think they are crazy charging that fee anyways, everyone uses their check cards and they are making bank on these fees! The percentage you pay for owning a business and the bank charges are the cost of doing business. I had a flower shop and I never pushed that back on the customer. ******SANITATION****** I am so disgusted I am not sure where to start! Pedicure basins, when my feet went into this tub I had no idea if this was sanitized, I asked my girl but she didn't speak a lick of English ugggh!!! So while I waited for my fill I watched, sure enough they don't clean them before another customer - wow are you kidding me? The implements (metal tools) were they sanitized, well I wouldn't know that either, I highly doubt it. Dirty towels......the rules are a clean towel for each customer and service, disgusting!!!!! The shop is gross, the manicuring table is full of clutter and nasty dirty towels, the chair I was in was broken, the manicurist chairs are really old and used. This place is gross period! My daughter and I had made appointments the day prior and after my pedicure I had to wait a solid 30 minutes before my nails were started. They are so greedy, like all shops they don't honor appointments at all! $98 later with my $2 fee for using my check card....I am not coming back. Ask for a clean towel, demand the pedi-basins are cleaned!!!! Are those toe nail clippers sanitized? Ask the questions!!!!! How are my nails you ask - they are ok! I came to get a pedicure. As soon as i walked in I noticed how dirty the salon is. The floors are cracking and lifting , the waiting chairs and pedicure massage chairs are dirty and messed up. They had a lot of pedicure chairs open and decided to sit me right next to someone . Then the guy just dusted the chair off with his hands . There was not sanitation done . The foot tub was dirty and i noticed white stuff floating in there . They did not have a plastic cover in the tub. The towels they used looked dirty and stained . I was sitting at the chair closest to the window and is smelled like MOLD !!! The guy who did my pedicure kept going on his phone . I did not see the guy or any other employee sanitize the tools so I'm hoping I don't get an infection. To the nail salon : please work on your sanitation practices!!!! It doesn't take much to clean ! Especially when it's your business/job that you are trying to keep open ! I truly don't understand how they have people who regularly come in . If it was cleaner and they were more sanitary I would come back. But unfortunately they seems to have not even been able to do the bare minimum when it comes to sanitation. read more

My new nail salon my first time going and meeting Anna she is so sweet and funny I instantly liked her! I showed her one picture and told her this is the design I usually wear but if she couldn't do it I would go with ombré she took one look and said I can do that and showed me all the different colors I was in love. I love coming here for pedicures but when I say don't put new people to work if they don't know the process I mean it. The new people never know what to do and it's unfair to charge same amount for their mediocre work. Last pedicure here he didn't even scrub my legs with the scrub they always use and put lotion on my legs before polish, left so much cuticle, I hated the shape and on top of that he didn't cut the sides or removed extra nail. Honestly I hate to leave a bad review but this is not ok. I did ask to fix my nails several times and he absolutely did not. Definitely did not tip, feel like I wasted time and money.
