I showed the design I had in mind & they were happy to make it happen. I chose a tiger strip design on a clear orange color with gem stones on my ring and thumb finger. I was getting my nails done for edc Las Vegas and tried a new salon that's local here in San Leandro and I'm soooo happy with how my nails came out! They are gorgeous and they were great with guiding me on design or style and color too. It was very busy for a Monday and everyone seemed pleased inside, we were happy to have came today and get our manicure and pedicure services done. They are also very fast, I was impressed! I've been here two times now for a gel manicure. I usually do my own gel nails but both times I had a product photo shoot so I wanted to get them professionally done and really clean up my cuticles. Let me start by saying, I was a bit hesitant coming back because of past experiences, but everyone deserves another chance right? They had space for 3 of us to come get pedicures around 11AM. Luckily it wasn't busy and it was just us there at the time. They have a whole menu to choose from, I got a deluxe pedicure with gel polish. The pedicure itself was so relaxing. My girl mad sure the water temp was right and she took her time-- I didn't feel rushed which is a big plus. All of the staff is super friendly and had a nice convo with us. My husband got the hot stone massage with his pedicure and he enjoyed it-- especially after our run that morning. My daughter went for a pedicure right when they opened. When she walked in they immediately sent her to a chair that already had a bag in it. She thought they were just ready for their first customer. She was horrified when she put her feet in the water and a hair ball came floating around. She said she could feel debris in the water too. It seemed like the garbage swept up from the floor was in the bag prior to her pedicure. My poor daughter was too afraid to say something. She stayed for the pedicure, and paid the $50 for a gel pedicure. The cherry on top is not even a week later and one of her toe nails is splitting down the middle. This place is not the same since Lynn sold it. We're all for supporting local businesses but not when you can end up with some sort of infection. So gross! read more

i'm so heartbroken because everyone in there are really nice and I loved going there and bringing my daughter with me but unfortunately I had the worst experience. I got my nails done. She did an amazing job but they didn't even last a week. I feel like if you are going to charge a lot, please prep everyone's nails before you put a full set. If you don't prep them correctly, they won't last long. I'm so heartbroken now I gotta find a new place to get my nails done. No hard feelings, but I hope you guys can take it as a note. Salon name: Lynn's Nails Salon address: 925 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA Date of original service: December 2, 2025 Approximate start time: 5:00 PM Date of return to salon: December 3, 2025 Approximate time of return: 4:03 PM I am submitting this complaint regarding unsanitary conditions, unsafe practices, misleading pricing, and unprofessional conduct during and after a nail service at Lynn's Nails. On December 2, 2025, at approximately 5:00 PM, I received a manicure and pedicure at the above salon. During the service, I personally observed the technician reuse a dirty towel that had been used on a previous client and a nail file that was not new or disinfected and appeared to have been used on other customers. These items were used directly on me. The technician performing the service identified herself as Yen. When I returned to the salon the following day, she claimed her name was Lynn, which caused confusion regarding the identity of the service provider. During the service, the technician was very aggressive while filing, including filing my skin, which caused immediate discomfort. I was informed that cuticle cutting required an additional $15 charge, which was not clearly disclosed beforehand. After speaking with three other clients, I was told that acrylic services typically start at $50, and that pricing and add-on charges appeared inconsistent and unclear. Within 30 minutes of the service, I experienced burning, pain, and irritation around my nails, and the nail service failed quickly, with visible chipping shortly after completion. I did not wash dishes, submerge my hands in water, or engage in any activities that would reasonably cause chipping within such a short time. On December 3, 2025, at approximately 4:03 PM, I returned to the salon to request a refund due to the sanitation concerns, physical pain, and poor quality of service. The salon refused to issue a refund unless I allowed them to remove my nails, which I declined because I no longer felt safe allowing further service after observing unsanitary practices and experiencing pain. During this interaction, the technician accused me of lying about the sanitation issues and stated that the reuse of the nail file was my fault for not addressing it during the service. She also stated that the polish chipping was my fault, rather than addressing the sanitation concerns and aggressive filing. Her behavior during this interaction felt intimidating and unprofessional, including pointing her hand toward me, grinding her teeth, and spitting while speaking. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe during this encounter. I have a scheduled wedding at 9:00 AM the following morning, and the pain, irritation, and stress caused by this experience have been significant. I am concerned that the reuse of towels and nail files, aggressive filing that broke skin, refusal to address sanitation concerns, pressure to accept further service despite health concerns, inconsistent pricing practices, and unprofessional conduct may constitute violations of California sanitation, safety, and professional standards. Solid pedicure. Never getting gel manicure here again. I've been coming here on and off for about 5-6 years now. Just realized my review from 5 years ago mentioned my gel manicure not lasting a week too. Got my gel mani and pedi here last Friday and the whole week, the gel mani has been looking and feeling like it's going to peel off. Well it's been 7 days and it's definitely chipped and peeling. Sigh. I don't even do anything crazy with my nails neither...definitely nothing to cause it. I've had gel manicures at other places that stay on for 3-4 weeks and only grow out. Pedicure is solid. The process of the gel manicure felt so rushed and she didn't bake it as long as most people do but I didn't say anything cause I thought she knew what she was doing. Well I'll come back here for a pedicure because they usually have availability and they are friendly. But never again for a gel manicure. I get gel because I want the comfort it won't chip for at least 2 weeks. If I knew it was going to not even last a week, I would've opted for regular polish at half the price. Lynn Nails is in the Manor Square plaza. There is plenty of parking here in the lot as well. I have been going here on and off for at least the last 10 years, as this is my go to spot when I do not want to drive too far. They make same day appointment as well as take walk-ins, so it is pretty convenient. I heard they changed ownership - most of the employees are new, but I recognized a couple of the original employees there still. I started to come here as my regular spot the last few months - I had several people do my mani pedi during my last few visits and it was most pretty good. Only major complaints I have are that sometimes a couple of the nail techs do file my nails in a round shape like I prefer and ask for and that a few times, my nails chipped/peeled after a few days, even though it is gel, but they are pretty good about fixing them for free when you come back within a few days. read more

I usually only get my nails done by Grace. Pedicures I have had done by her as well as others...but nails only by Grace. They were easy to make an appointment. The customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly and they were fast and efficient. I had 2 ladies work on me at the same time and I got an herbal pedicure done with just regular paint done and a gel manicure done and I was finished within 46 minutes. I just had to sit to let my toes dry. The music they played was very jazzy and gave a relaxing vibe. The only thing that took away a star was the fact that they didn't set up or show me how to use the massage chairs, which looked aged and outdated. They used liners for the tubs. They cleaned the chairs prior customers yet there are some stains on the chairs from previous paint jobs. I would recommend they use towels to protect the chairs and use a product like Whip it to get rid of stains. Both times I've gone to do my nails there for manicure the paint doesn't last. The paint chips quickly. I don't know what kind of nail polish they use. I also took my niece to do her nails and they also chipped. I showed them what happened to my nails and they said that I should have done dip plus gel to last longer. It's never happened at other nail salons back home where I live or gone to. I did pedicure and they use cheese grater. I ended up getting bad cracks on my heels that my podiatrist had to help me heal because it hurt to walk on. Sadly I won't be able to come here again. :( read more

I've had an appointment both times I've come here, but like many nail shops, appointments are just so you know you'll be seen, doesn't mean they necessarily have the capacity to give you the time and attention you need/deserve/are paying for lol The first time I didn't enjoy my mani or pedi, it was rushed, we weren't given the different menu options, my cuticles were bleeding, let's just say it was the worst. The second time, we asked for the menu and got the Herbal Mani/Pedi Combo, they seemed a bit annoyed that we asked for the menu, I think they wanted us in and out. We waited in our chairs, feet soaking for about 30 minutes. I'd have to say my water was cold by the time they got to us, I literally had to ask them to add more warm water. Once the pedi started, it was good this time! I liked the extra steps that the herbal package included. But then after my toes were done, the rush came back for my manicure. It wasn't a bad as the first time, I walked out of there blood-free, but I'm just used to more care taken on my nails. Okay, this review is long overdue. I've been a loyal customer since I moved to the manor, about seven years ago. Now that Lynn has sold her shop to someone else, it feels extremely cheap. Which is fine, I was never paying for luxury here. But when they started using puppy pee pads to cover the part to put your feet on, it was a RED FLAG I get that maybe they might be struggling but don't spend tons of money on those stupid lava spa things (that I've yet to see someone ask for) and cheap out and use pee pads. Come on now. Another thing that has bugged me for a long time is the fact that they don't have new bottles of polish. The chick at the front swore that they do but almost every single time I've been there, they've added thinner to their empty polish bottles. I completely get that you use thinner to fix clumpy/thick polish and I'm not a nail tech, buuuuut it just seems like they are pinching pennies to avoid buying new polish. I started a stamp card years ago (when I was good at paying with cash) and today, I finally filled the last stamp! Come to find out, you need 300 points to redeem the $20 off. Guess how many I had.. 299 AND the new lady wouldn't let me redeem it. I've spent well over $300 there since I've been a customer and I thought that really sucked. Lynn would've FOR SURE let me redeem $20 off. That was it for me. I was planning on using the $20 off today so I don't have to go back. But that didn't work out. I was very happy with my CBD pedicure and Dip manicure. I've known the new owner, Karen, for a long time. I've followed her from a few different nail salons she was at.
