The nail tech nipped my thumb and blood came out she continued to use the drill on my bloody thumb and then instead of throwing away the drill head she put it in a container. As the service kept going she used a tool on my finger to clean the edges my thumb was still bleeding and she dipped the tool back into the half full bottle of acetone. If she did this to me I can only imagine the practices they are using on others. Now I'm freaking about getting a blood borne pathogen even though the chance is slim because I honestly don't think they clean their tools properly. Besides that the manicure was horrible it seemed like she wasn't a licensed nail tech the way she was painting my nails and the protocols they were not following. She tried to charge me 35 I said absolutely not. They wanted to fix my nails that I had issues with but I just didn't trust they were going to fix so I refused and paid less for the service because they did give a service. read more

I've come here for the past year now and every experience has been 2/10 till yesterday. I received the worst service EVER 0/10 . Got to the salon at 12:30 and didn't leave till 3:30. 3 HOURSS! They made me wait forever in between getting my toes and fill done, then proceeded to give me a new person there. She did a horrible job. As someone who's gotten there nails done all their life i was in disbelief and just came to terms with having bad nails by the time she finished. I just wanted to leave already. I visited this nail shop twice, my first experience wasn't good I had an appointment with Hang, I arrived early and I waited 20 minutes for Hang to finish up with another client. A few days later after paying $72 for a full set, the top gel coat went from shiny to matte. The second time I went back for a fill, a week later the top gel polish turned matte and the polish peeled on one of the nails. They will try to put you in the pedicure chair first because Hang is never on time with seeing clients at their schedule appointment time. This shop doesn't honor people appointment time; you will end up waiting 20 minutes after your appointment time. read more

This place gets 4 stars because Hang and Nancy! They're both very thorough but efficient when it comes to doing your nails. Nancy makes sure your pedicures are top tier and she gets in every nook and cranny. Hang does all types of nail designs and she does them BEAUTIFULLY! All you have to do is show her an inspo pic and she nails it every time! Make sure you make an appointment when requesting them! One star was taken off because everyone else there does a very mediocre job. A job you could do yourself at home. Very fast and untidy. Not worth it, especially if you're spending 100+ there. I hate leaving negative reviews , but the service here was below subpar , I see there has been a lot of changes made to the decor , I'm not sure as far as management, I stopped in for a pedicure, and I left with swollen cut up toes , I had to ask midway through the pedicure for the tech to be gentle , she kept drilling , filing , and cutting away at my toes as if a human wasn't attached to the toes , I picked pedicure #2 which is $58 , I was charged $66 including the gel polish , I wasn't going to get my nails done because the pedicure turned me off , I decided to get my nails done anyway, I asked for skinny tapered square , she got semi close , I got the cat eye design , and when I left I realized most of my nails were not properly topped with the top coat , the tech seemed like she did not want to do my nails , she wasn't friendly or welcoming, was charged $66 for my nails . the women who did my pedicure did at least attempt to give good customer service, the energy in this shop isn't relaxing at all , at one point my tech stopped my pedicure to change the polish on another customers toes who had walked in after me ,$133 plus a undeserving tip , my fingers and toes are both swollen , sore , and most likely injured I am praying they heal with no infections. read more

Bad service. First time I came here last year they agreed to do my friends inspo photo but when it came to the design they used stickers without telling them and said they don't hand draw the hearts. Would've been fine if they just said they couldn't do it so they could've chooses something else. Today we had an appt but was treated as a walk in waiting for 40 minutes while they didn't acknowledge us anymore after we said we were there with an appt. There was a big family getting their nails done along with a lot of kids which didnt bother us but the salon didn't even check in on us and tell us an estimate wait time. My acrylics came out so crooked, the white tips weren't painted even at all and she didn't even remove my cuticles and paint my whole nail for my pedicure. This place is a complete JOKE!! My 1 star goes straight to HANG (ANN). Even then I wouldn't rate her that because of the incident I endured. So I've came to this place at least 3 times, the 4th was the last time I come again. My first experience was bad, nails were shaped horribly, chipped easily and within a week, the nail tech I got was rude and would constantly pull & shake my hand when she wanted me to relax it, it's not hard to just say, "relax" !! It was bad $50 JUST FOR GEL NAILS. No extra, nothing. So my second visit, was on short notice, I was desperate to do my nails and the usual place I go to was already fully booked, so I came here. Wouldn't you guess it, I got the same girl. This time was pleasant, nails came out great from shape to color. And would you believe this time it was only $38 for just gel nails full set again! Hmmmm.. so why my first visit did I pay $12 more. Anyways The third time I came, I was excited because the last time was a good experience and was cheaper than the first visit. Plus I seen a beautiful simple set that Hang (Ann) did and decided to get that. I come in, seated immediately, everything was great, shape, length, i was irritated that it didn't come out the way Hang did them but since she's amazing at her craft, the best nail tech in that salon, I didn't have high hopes, I was sill happy with what I received, $65 for a full set, jelly color & glitter add on! (Even tho you could barely see the damn glitter) and looked nothing like the inspo pic, I was still happy. That was on a Friday afternoon. Saturday we decided to spend the day at the marina, warm beautiful day out with my fiancée and toddler. We spent about 3 hours there. I was tired when we got home, showered and went to sleep, when I woke the next day and and I go to start my morning routine, wash face, brush teeth, etc. the color on my nails is completely gone!! I only had a light version of the jelly on my pinky & ring finger! The rest of my nails completely faded. Just clear nail with glitter. I then go online to get their # to call, of course they're closed on Sundays. Monday morning at exactly 10:32am I called, explained the situation, lady asked when I came in, what time, who did my nails, i'm like sheesh, i can show you my proof of payment with time stamp on my credit card statement, she then asked when I can come in I said 6pm, she got my name, said okay. I arrive 5:55pm. I'm early, yes I don't mind! I said who I was and explained again the situation they just seated me at the seat next to the nail tech who originally did my nails table and as she sat me there, another girl who was already waiting sat at the lady who did my nails table. I wasn't even seen until 6:38pm!!!!!!! Damn near the time the other girl was paying!! They literally made me wait for the other girl to do her nails to then work on my nails for a quick 10 mins! When I had an appointment. So you see my frustration, I kept calm. I was happy to finally be seen. I explained to the nail tech idk what could've happened. Like did the sun just take the nail color off my nails? She literally just kept saying mmm, no apology or anything. So I then told her what color I wanted and that I wanted it matte. Oh my lanta! When I said matte I'm instantly attacked by 3 different ladies. The girl doing my naila says $5 extra for matte. I say, how? I just came in a day ago and paid $60 for a full set, $55 jelly color + $5 glitter add on, i paid $60 for my nails to mess up in a fucking day. Now I had to go out of my way, drive back here from Oakland, waste my gas & time. And you wanna charge me a lousy $5. How if a gel full set is $55 + $5 glitter add on. My nails fucked up. Then the gel color i'm getting replaced and i'm getting matte instead of gel this time! After a 5 minute argument cause these people wanted their $5 I said, fine! I'll pay $5. Once my nails were dry, these bitches tried charging me $17!!!!!!! I said how. They said color + matte. I said what in the actual fuck. I came in 1 day ago!!!!! And my nails were fucked up... I paid $60 now I gotta pay extra $17 cause you guys fucked my nails up!! That's when the hood came out of me. All the ladies then began yelling in their language I knew they were talking shit. And while this whole situation happened, not once did the owner Hang come over and handle the situation! I walked out! Never again, will I return to this place. Oh okay so I'm paying 65$ for this woman to get coached on how to do my nails and do an okay job on something I normally pay less for for a bomb job? I'm Puzzled. Please know that this nail salon does not honor appointment times. I was told by staff that if a walk-in arrives within 20 minutes of your appointment time, your appointment will be pushed back. Twice in a row I've had an appt and was made to wait 30+ minutes for each because a walk-in came in in that "20 minute before the appointment" window. I was told that my name was not written in the appointment book next to the technician's name, but when I asked to please see the appointment book (which they did not have to accommodate, which was nice) there was my name. People work no appointments on the books, able to help walk-ins, in the back eating and talking while the one person with the appointment (only 1) takes walk-ins and pushes those with appointments back. If you want your appointment on time, I suggest making it for when they open, or like the staff member told me, if you like to be on time maybe you go somewhere else. read more

I did my nails with Tina and she did a wonderful job at my acrylic overlay and shaping my nails. The nail shop isn't anything fancy, but it's clean and spacious. I paid 40 for an overlay, but it was worth every penny. I loved the simplicity and classic look of ombré nails. Definitely when you have a chance book with Hang if you want intricate designs and patterns. She's amazing, and very accommodating also. Only problem is that she have so many regulars, you would always have to book ahead! It's true about the appointment time here, it's almost non-ezisgent. This wasn't my favorite. I came to this salon because i saw that they do marble nails. The design i got doesn't look terrible but it is definitely not what i wanted. As for the shape of the nail it looks more squared than the coffin shape i requested. The nail is also very thick/ bulky. Over all it was a very time consuming, with a price of $70 for the set. I've been searching for a new nail salon on the East Bay for the last 6 months. I've been to about 4-5, and this is the first service that I've been actually happy with. They are a little under staffed, so be prepared the wait about 30 mins, but once serviced, the nail techs are very attentive. Although my nail tech had to do my service along with another woman at the same time, she managed her time well with each of us. I got a gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. My nail tech reshaped my nails for me, because the last place I went to had them all over the place. Although, so simple, I loved her execution and consistency of the square round shape. She also did a very clean job and took her time to make sure I was happy with the service. The deluxe pedicure was nice as well. It included I believe a seal salt rub, orange scrub, and hot stone. Light on pressure but good for the additional $10 for deluxe. In total I was there for about 2 hours, so make sure you have time. And the gel manicure and deluxe pedicure was $55, so pretty good price for the service. read more

Overall pretty good experience the staff was really friendly and always tried to converse with me. The only reason why I would give a 4 star is that my nails were a bit messy. I got a French tip and from close up it is a bit uneven. My cuticles weren't taken care of so the acrylic didn't reach my nail beds. As for my pedi it was a bit messy. The polish was flowing onto my skin on my smaller toes which made them peel when I was trying to clean them up myself. Other than that, I think this place is really nice. When my boo and I need some girl time we usually come here for pedicures. They take appointments but I have never had them be ready on time. Even with an appointment the wait is at least 15-20 mins. The ladies here are constantly busy with a group of people waiting for services. I've never been disappointed with my claws and paws. They don't rush and always ask if you want any add-one's to the service. The place is clean. There was one pedicure chair that wasn't working that I seemed to always sit in.
