I've gotten my nails done here a total of four times now. The first 2 times were great but the last 2 my nail broke off both sets and for my last set it was a total of 2 times!! Nail tech applies the thinnest layer of acrylic. I get gel and the polish peeled off on most nails ): My nail broke off literally 2 days after I got them done the 2nd time was 7 days after. I'm used to my nails lasting me for as long as I please. So disappointing! They also don't make sure that each nail matches your other hands length. If I can rate this nail salon a 0 I would . NEVER COMING BACK HERE EVER AGAIN . Poor customer service. Not sanitary what so ever. Nail supplies and towels were reused from the last customer. They used curved tips on my nails when I specifically told them those are not the usual tips I get and she still continued to glue curved tips. Any concern I had was ignored. I came to this specific nail salon because it was convenient, close by and no traffic... I came here for my birthday nails and the lady Lynn assigned to me messed up on my nails so I talked to Lynn about it the next day to see if SHE can fix them and she gives me the same lady who messed up my nails to fix them, to mess them up once again . Here are pictures of what I got compared to what I asked for. I wasn't asking for it to look exactly the same but some what close, and if they couldn't do that for me they should have just said that...and I would of went to a different salon. But like any typical nail salon they said they can do it and wasted my time and money $80 on some basic nails I did not ask for. Lynn's provides good work and service, however I can only rate them 3 stars. The pedicure service packages ranges from 40-75 dollars, and they charge 15.00 dollars for gel color on top of the pedicure service you pick. If you want a French tip it will be an extra 5.00 dollars! That is insane for gel pedicure especially if you add a tip. There are no snacks or drinks provided for that price. read more

Let me start by saying that I'm full Vietnamese, so I completely understand all their chatter in Vietnamese. They always assume I'm Korean and so I just play along. Anyways, the 1 star rating is due to two different occasion I came to get my nails done. Let's start with the first time: I got a manicure and pedicure. The lady working on the pedicure cut my big toe so badly it was bleeding and was burning for two days when it touched water. I get that mistakes happen, but no one apologized and they blamed it on my toes having too much dry dead skin. Which is non sense cause I get pedicures almost bi-weekly. They chatted among themselves and said I moved around and cause myself to bleed. Nonsense. The manicure was fine. Nothing special, but not bad. So I decided to give it another try. She manicurists cut me again this time. Between chatting with the other ladies and laughing at derogative jokes, she wasn't paying attention and end up cutting my ring finger. I bleed again. I screamed out from pain and my finger was dripping blood. No one said anything about their mistake. I honestly don't mind them talking among themselves, but when that gets in the way of their job, it just becomes unacceptable. Customer service is not their forte. Go somewhere else. read more

I visited this shop due to the fact that my regular nail salon, the sister salon to this shop was closed. First Ivy did my pedicure, she did an awesome job, everything was perfect and she also helped me secure an appt with Lynn to get a new set with a particular design I wanted for my vacation. Lynn, the owner did a wonderful job on my nails, I absolutely love her process, she is VERY THOROUGH. I am a stickler for quality craftsmanship and she delivered. I also want to thank MiMi she removed my old nails and she was very nice. First time here with my partner . 2nd day of pedicure I noticed I still have dead skin on my big toe . No complaints on manicure .she was amazing. However when I first sat down in the chair I'm use to having hot:warm water with Jets , I asked the tech in the middle of her session after sitting in the chair for 15 mins with no water can they add it , she said the lady would do it . Not sure . I guess come here earlier in the day when they aren't as tired ? I don't like having to critique the tech when they are doing their job but dead skin is easy spot and clean. Then was persuaded to pay with cash for some sort of card discount program but math didn't add up and I discovered I was overcharged by $10. 2x #2 pedicure $80 + $20 manicure=$110? I really wanted to like this place. I know people who have been coming here for over a decade so I thought I would give them a shot. Most of the technicians are great, I really like Kim and Lilly1! Calvin is great too. There have been way too many times that I've gotten a gel manicure and it has chipped and lifted within a week. I also have noticed that numerous times, the color # I selected didn't match the actual color. Long time San Leandro business, upgraded salon real high class place. My grandma has been coming here since i was a kid, and I come here on and off. I got my toes done Saturday, hands Sunday and the colors didn't match. One bottle is gel vs regular and while they should match I understand it happens. If you guys want a 20min pedicure this is the place to go. As for me, my pedicures usually take about 45mins-1hr. The pedicure felt very very rushed. Not sure if that's how it always is or because they were just super busy this morning. I feel like they barely cleaned my toes or anything. I go to Nail #1 by Bayfair and Tammy is the best there. She really takes her time cleaning your toes, getting hangnails, cuticles, etc. This place isn't bad, it's just not for me because I personally like longer pedicures. I've come here for a few years on and off and after my last visit, I could tell that the business has been sold. The quality and service just doesn't feel the same. The nail techs doing my nails seemed rushed even though I was on time for my appointment and it was empty. The lady doing my nails made me bleed. The next day, my nails starting chipping and it's only been exactly a week and my gel is already peeling off. Usually I can push my gel for 3 weeks, I could barely make it a day or so. Julie used to be my go to but she no longer works there. I got a full set this time and a pedi. While my toes are nice and my finger nails don't look bad at fast glance, if you take a good look you can see all the flaws: 1) cuticles were not pushed back and trimmed. 2) many nails are crooked 3)you can actually see my real nail on the sides of the 4) one nail it is a lot thicker than the rest. Today was one of those bad days at a nail salon, I've been here twice this would be my third time and the first two times were great! Service and detailed everything but today I got my pedicure by the only guy in this salon and I walked in and said I wanted a pedicure he quickly got up and set up the chair for me. While doing my pedicure she cuts me twice after I explain that she could not cut any lower. Than on my manicure my finger is cut so deep it starts to bleed. Ok, I've been to many nail shops and this one is by far the CLEANEST! They sterilize all their equipment, instead of just dipping it in the disinfecting solution. My BIGGEST priority is not how good they airbrush or do designs, my priority is not getting a nail fungus on my toes or hands!!! On Thursday 2017 I visited this location in the plaza to get a gel fill. I was addressed soon as I sat down one person started me to take off the polish and the other finished . I was hoping to get a man because in my experience of nails they seem to be more gentle. My nails where completed by Peter he didn't really have a lot of knowledge with color of polish but he was really nice and gentle I will see him in about a week or so moonlight color change and 004 gel love my color when I'm cold it's a deep black blue and when I'm warm it's silver very happy with the quality of the establishment and location will definitely return.
