I visited this establishment for the first time. It is about an hour from where I live, but trust me... it was well worth the drive. The cornbread muffins were so good, I couldn't stop eating them. I ordered the baby back ribs which were delicious, the smoked turkey was very good, the baked beans were the bomb. I didn't care too much for the mac and cheese, it taste like the boxed velveeta mac and cheese (with extra cheese sauce), I wouldn't order the mac and cheese again. I haven't had any bbq this good in a very long time so I definitely will be back. read more

We sat outside on the patio. They had a singer with a guitar playing (he was entertaining and interactive). David, our server, was friendly and very attentive. Since it was our first time here, he went over the menu and made some recommendations. The food was good! It's a little pricy but what BBQ place isn't. I had the ribs and brisket with baked beans and coleslaw. My wife had the smoked turkey with mashed potatoes and green beans. We both were happy with our choices. The corn bread muffins we're good. I've been here enough to say its hit or miss. They do a high volume so the bbq meats turnover fairly regularly, but you can see, smell and taste the difference when it's really fresh from when it's not. I religiously order the baked beans and they are religiously served cold. That's unfortunate because they might be decent. With few decent options along 33 they don't have to work hard for their clientele. That's unfortunate because it allows complacency. One good thing is the servers are always nice and attentive so that's a plus. read more

My husband and I went here for dinner. The mini corn bread muffins were delicious, but as another person said, we wanted more! I had the Texas Trio (mini sandwiches: pulled pork, beef brisket, and a cheeseburger). Wish I had skipped the pulled pork and cheeseburger and just had three beef brisket sandwiches. The pork was a little dry. Hubby had ribs and smoked turkey. Both fantastic, he couldn't finish his meal. For sides, we had mac and cheese, baked beans, and a baked sweet potato. This is by far the best BBQ joint in Ohio that I have tried thus far. We stopped in on our way home from the Hocking Hills. The place was packed and smelled great. Once seated we were served delicious corn bread muffins. The pulled pork and brisket were amazing and the accompanying sauces were delicious without overpowering the meat. Amazing BBQ joint. Worth a bit of a drive just to enjoy the brisket. The service has always been great and the food is spectacular. The first time I went to Millstone my boyfriend and were coming back from a long cabin weekend. We slammed through a basket of the corn muffins and fought over the last one, eventually ordering another basket to go. We ordered brisket and ribs and they were both amazing plus huge portions. The sides are really good and the mac+cheese is worth the money. The second time I ended up at Millstone was during a girls weekend and we ended up slipping in the door just as they were about to close, they were still amazingly pleasant and we gobbled our food as fast as we could because it was so delicious! Good soup too! Would highly recommend, one of my fav bbq joints. read more

We've been here a number of times (we live close by) and we've had some great meals and some awful meals. Very little is consistent here- except for the corn bread muffins! The staff isn't always the friendliest either, but we keep going back because it's decent and close. read more

Waitress was very nice, but food was awful. Pulled pork was mushy. Beef tasted funny...weird aftertaste. All meat was also cold. Steamed broccoli was raw and cold. Green beans from a can were cold. It has been a long time since a restaurant was good enough to give me chills when I bite into food. We got the potato skins with pulled pork and bacon, drizzled the sweet BBQ sauce on top and a little Ranch.......HOLY COW it was amazing. The meat options are fantastic, I dont like Turkey a lot, but the smoked Turkey was phenomenal. The corn muffins are like nothing else on earth either! Service was fast and very friendly, the manager Derrick was really really nice and our server Mackenzie was one of the best servers we have ever had. The meal was probably made on the fly, so the food might normally be better than what we received. There was never an apology for the wait time, although that would have helped the situation immensely. I normally love BBQ but this was not the place to have it. We ordered the combo plate appetizer and the nachos were burnt to the point of not being edible. Everything else on that plate was good. I ordered the meat combo meal. Everything that was on my plate that was smoked was cold. My husband ordered the brisket/pulled pork combo and his food was cold as well. We did send all the smoked meat back and they did return with somewhat warm meat. But this was bbq was not up to par. My daughter ordered the 8oz sirloin with a baked potato. Her potato looked as if it had sat in a warmer all day. It was very hard. I tried a piece of her steak and I personally would not of ate it. It didn't have any flavor and was very dry for a medium cooked steak. The waitress was great, she was on the dot with refills and insisted on bringing us out new plates when I told her of the cold meat. But unfortunately I will not be recommending this place to anyone ever. read more

My husband and I visited here on our trip to HH. We split the Meat Sampler which came with two sides, which was plenty for the two of us (and those cornbread muffins with whipped butter-OMG!).
