Super friendly greeters and bar staff. No Yellow Jackets but they do have PBR in cans which is a plus. Hard to find a place that has regular beer for real people. Fantastic Southern cooking & BBQ!

My friends and I stopped for lunch at Millstone on a Saturday. They were busy but seated us right away. Our waitress was helpful with menu choices and our food was delivered in a timely manner. The onion straws were so light & crispy. Our side salads (house & Caesar) were crisp and very cold. And the four of us were all happy with what we ordered except the dry rub wings were so coated in black pepper that my friend could barely eat them. Entrees were all larger than we could eat so we got boxes to take home. All in all we left full and happy. Bonus: The complimentary cornmeal muffins are to die for and they'll bring as many as you want.

Very tasty meal here. Wait staff was very attentive. We got the fried pickle spears as an appetizer, which was good. We enjoyed the Rib Combo with Brisket. Brisket was great but the ribs could have been smoked longer. The Corn Bread pudding was dangerous.

Located right around Hocking Hills, my friend and I who did a little winter getaway to the area stopped here one night to grab some dinner. Hocking Hills is definitely more geared towards warmer weather times, as I feel like there's a lot less happening and probably opening in the winter months, but Millstone Southern Smoked BBQ was a perfect dinner spot for us on one of these cold nights! It was pretty full on a random weeknight, so I feel as though the locals come here for their dinners, which was a fun thing for us to experience. Highlight of the meal was definitely the complimentary mini cornbread muffins that they put on our table shortly after we sat down. My mind was absolutely BLOWN by this haha! I've never dined at any BBQ joint that has done this before and I'm a huge fan of cornbread! I can confidently say that these mini cornbread muffins really hit the spot - quality cornbread and just a complete bonus to the meal! Other than that, you'll find your traditional BBQ fare here. We split some crispy green beans, which actually is a more unique item and was breaded and tasted delicious! For my main, I got their open-faced dinner, which had brisket on top of a mound of mashed potatoes, all over some delicious texas toast just sopping in the gravy. It was hearty as hell and so delicious for a cold winter's night! I loved it all and finished every bite! Yum! Millstone Southern Smoked BBQ will be a great place to stop in the cold weather or even in warm weather when you have an ambitious day at Hocking Hills set up for before or afterwards!

While visiting Hocking Hills State Park, my wife and I had dinner here. Millstone is a very good BBQ restaurant! Let's start with the complimentary cornbread muffins. They were unexpected but delicious! Served with a whipped honey butter, they melt in your mouth. For dinner, my wife and I shared an order of smoked chicken wings, half a slab of ribs and some smoked turkey. The wings were excellent! The ribs were tender and very good. The smoked turkey was decent but not as good as the other food. I had a side of mac and cheese which was good; my wife had a salad that she said was delicious. Ambience is nice, service was good.

Staying in the area from out of town to visit Hocking Hills, and Millstone BBQ really hit the spot! Walked in on a Thurs evening and were seated right away - the restaurant is a good size with plenty of tables and a bar. We were surprised with complimentary mini corn bread muffins that came with a sweet whipped butter and loved these! Came out toasty warm and so yummy! Much better than a typical bread basket. I got the Millstone Combo which came with a choice of 2 meats and 2 sides. I got pulled pork, brisket, cole slaw, and mac & cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed this. The meat actually comes out dry (ie smoked/cooked with a rub/marinade/seasoning but is not "wet" BBQ). On the side, they had their Sweet & Tangy and Spicy Hot BBQs to add. I think the meats themselves would've been a little dry without the sauces, but this way people can add what they want and the amount they want. Between the two sauces, I slightly preferred the Sweet & Tangy, but they're good mixed together as well! We also got the Fried Green Beans with ranch and these were good as well! Came out piping hot, with the beans green and the perfect texture (not floppy nor too firm). These were breaded and deep fried. For the most part, mostly the fried breading and ranch flavors come through, but no complaints as those are tasty flavors! Front staff that seated us and our waitress were friendly and professional. Reasonable prices. Overall nice experience for dinner in Logan!

Corn bread and bake beans where good. The brisket had a foul smell and taste. I'll be back for that corn bread though.

One of Logan's better places to eat... Beware of the corn muffins. You can't eat just one! The Big Pig Nachos are great too!

Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).

We had a really enjoyable dinner at 58 West and would definitely recommend it…read more We started with the fried green tomatoes, which came topped with avocado wedges. That was something I hadn't seen before and wasn't necessarily expecting, but the combination worked surprisingly well. I really enjoyed them. For my meal, I had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, while my wife had what I believe was the bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. Although "regular" doesn't seem like quite the right word for much of anything here! Everything was delicious, and the bacon on my wife's burger was especially good. The service was another highlight. The staff was attentive and friendly, and our server seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were enjoying our experience. Our water glasses never seemed to get anywhere close to empty before they were refilled, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the meal. The prices are definitely a little on the higher side, but this is one of those places where I don't mind paying a little extra. When the quality of the food and the level of service match the price, it feels justified, and that was absolutely the case here. The dining space itself is open and inviting, with high ceilings and a nice atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and felt the quality matched what we paid. I would highly recommend 58 West, and we'd happily eat here again.
