Due to the reviews, we had I hopes but not so much. My wife got the Gyro and she described it as basic and bland. Her pita was cold. The food was absolutely delicious. We had an appetizer of the feta dip and pita chips. Was very good and came out so quick. We both got burgers but we saw many plates pass by us that looked equally as yummy! The atmosphere was very small town diner/bar vibe, as its very small inside. But it was clean and service was great and quick even with it being super busy! We would definitely stop here again if we ever passed through. We visited The Feed for dinner on a Sunday evening. After finding a seat we started to order drinks and were informed that wine and liquor aren't served on Sundays. Our group went for a round of canned beers instead. When I ordered the shrimp gyro our server apologized and explained they were out of shrimp. She also let us know they were out of quite a few other menu items including chicken tenders, boneless chicken, chicken wings, tortilla chips, cheese curds, and a few others. I ended up ordering the falafel gyro instead. Our table also ordered the Chicka BLT, Mushroom Dip, Fried Banana Peppers, and Rancher Mac. Everything we tried was delicious. The restaurant also appeared to be well staffed. The only negative thing that stood out was the overflowing trash can behind the bar. We watched several employees walk past it while continuing to stack more trash on top as they cleared tables. If we hadn't been seated at the bar we probably wouldn't have noticed it but it was a bit distracting. Overall we had a good experience. The food was very good and the service was friendly. I would return, hopefully on a day when more menu items are available and we can try one of their craft cocktails. read more

The Yelp reviews led us to The Feed and it did not disappoint. I have to say it, Hocking Hills is a bit of a good dessert so it was great to find this option during our two night visit. We ordered the fried cauliflour, grilled chicken sandwich with pepper jam and provolone, a burger, coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Our family is big on eating family style so everyone had a bit of everything. The staff was friendly and attentive. Despite being fairly busy, they kept things moving. We weren't hungry enough, but they had some delicious desserts on the menu like peanut butter pie and peanut butter cookies. We saw the positive reviews and the menu looked great, and our take-out order (made online through "toast") was said to be ready in 20-25 minutes. we arrived during that window and waited for an extra 50 minutes in a very small waiting area. the woman who gave us our food was kind and apologetic, but the hostess and other employees we interacted with were impatient and short with us. we got home and some of the food was cold/soggy and it had a few errors. otherwise, most of the food was very tasty! read more

I got the Moore-Demi burger- it was near perfect. (The only thing I would change would be to go with a smaller patty. The star of that burger is the mushroom demi glaze, so a sixth pound patty would make a better foil.) Sweet potato fries were good enough. We visited on the weekend of the Bigfoot festival in McArthur and the Hippy Festival in Logan. This place was packed full. It was very warm inside with not a lot of airflow and with every table taken- it was very crowded. They have one table that hold more than 4 people so big groups are not ideal. We got a wine flight featuring wines from RXR Winery. The Patty melt was on delicious sour dough bread. The fries were seasoned with flaky sea salt- it was very yummy. We were visiting Hocking Hills State Park and staying in Logan for one night. When dinner time rolled around, I visited Yelp to find a place to eat. The majority of the reviews were positive, so we decided to eat there (I honestly wonder about the reviewers). From the moment we walked in, I felt unwelcome. We came at 7:00 and they closed at 8:00. The waitress came to our table and brought our waters, and my friend asked what the specials were. Now mind you these specials have been going all evening, however, she couldn't tell him what they were and had to read the board behind her to let him know what they were. We ordered the loaded pierogies for an appetizer. I had never had pierogies before, so I was anxious to try them. It is no exaggeration to say they were tough as leather. Even using a knife, I could not cut through the pasta shell For dinner, my friend wanted to order a flatbread and was told upon ordering that they had shut down their oven. Don't you think you should've told us when you seated us? So he horridly had to make another choice the fried cauliflower. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, thinking to myself how can you go wrong with that? When our meals came, it was apparent that the fried cauliflower was over fried! The chicken on my Mediterranean salad tasted like shoe leather, dry, and tough. I will say the olives were delicious as well as the tomatoes in the salad. As for the ambience, there was none, in fact they were stacking chairs to go home while we were eating. The burgers that my group had looked nothing like the pictures that we saw online. they seemed to be frozen patties and were very bland. The buns were the best part and that is not saying much for the burger. Same with the patty melt. I will give a thumbs up to the Gyro and the Greek salad. Both of those were good.
