The food was absolutely awful. I got the gyro snd it had two or three pieces of spring mix , couple pieces of onion and a couple pieces tomato. Very little chicken. They forgot my Cole slaw. I waited the waitress didn't come back to check on us. I than ask a young lady whom was clearing tables. She was very nice. The waitress brought it by and slid it on the table on her way by saying there you go. Never once ask if we wanted refills. The best hamburgers ever. They have some burgers that will cause you to reconsider what a burger can be. My wife had theirs on burger with smoked Gouda and bacon jam... it was amazing. She said it was the best burger she ever had... she went with asparagus on the side... :-) I had the pork burger that is a burger covered with pulled pork topped with slaw soaked in Alabama white BBQ sauce... it was about three inches tall. I went with fries, which were super... They have some impressive deserts too...assuming that you have rom for one. Nice staff. They made us feel at home. I really like the idea of this place because they have an inspired menu with lots of tasty sounding sandwiches. On my visit, I tried a side salad, the stuffed mushroom dip, chicken tenders, and mac n cheese. The mushroom dip wasn't bad-- no real recognizable mushroom flavor though. It tasted almost like chili? I liked the crispy pita that it was served with for dipping. I had a side salad with the maple dijon vinaigrette. It was a little thick but with a little extra vinegar added I liked it. The mac and cheese was creamy and tasty, topped with bread crumbs. The chicken tenders were unfortunately pretty much inedible, otherwise I would have given 4 stars. We met up for lunch on a Saturday with some out-of-town friends on their way to Hocking Hills. The place is small and basic, but the menu looked okay. Unfortunately, the food was not great. My burger was dry and the bun was stale, and the fries would have been good except they were lukewarm. Drinks were served in styrofoam cups, and napkins were at a premium. The place could have also been a little cleaner, and the men's room was pretty gross. I'm giving them two stars only because the wait staff were really nice. read more

We decided to give this place a try one evening after hiking all day at Hocking Hills state park. We were both starving and wanted a filling meal. The place doesn't look like much on the outside and it's kind of plain and simple on the inside. This however isn't really a problem because we came for the food not the decor. Our waitress was super friendly, new but knew the menu and made good recommendations for us. We were being somewhat difficult in deciding what we wanted but managed to help us piece together a burger that would satisfy my wife as well as a chicken sandwich for me. The chicken was a real chicken breast and was hand breaded in what I figure is a mix of seasoned flour and cornstarch. Tasted pretty similar to the chicken sandwiches I fix at home which is great because that's what I was hoping for. It was fried just right and wasn't dry or hard or anything like that. The burger however was the star of the show, thick and juicy and covered in toppings. This is a tough one. When we arrived, we were seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order and brought her drinks back right away. She took our order. We waited about 46 minutes and noticed that people came in after we had we're already receiving their food, we asked her waitress what was going on and she said she's not sure but she would check. When she came back, she apologized and said she's not sure what happened, but our food would be out right away. After we had been there a total of one hour and two minutes our food was brought to the table. That was the bad part but the food itself was outstanding probably one of the best burgers I've had in my life. My wife and granddaughter also felt the same way. When walking into The Feed I noticed a sticker on door, "People on Yelp love us!" It's a smaller venue from outside but I believe capacity would be around 40 inside. They also have seating outdoors for about 16 people and a counter for 6-8 as well. Ambience is cheery blues with painted mosaic design accents. Simple tables and chairs but clean. The menu has typical diner type food but with a little twist for some items. We started with the Stuffed Mushroom Dip appetizer and OMG, it was fantastic! Wonderfully flavored and hot, homemade pita triangles that had a great 'chew' to them. I could have eaten them alone (I'm a bread person) and the dip - I could've eaten with a spoon like a savory pudding. I told my sister, "Go ahead and double dip if you want to" because you wanted every bite to have some dip. She had patty melt with side of mac-n-cheese and both items looked delicious she confirmed both were Very good. I tried the Pork Belly Cuban which was different: coarse mustard, pork belly (obviously), grilled ciabatta bread and initially missing the cheese? I asked our server, Jasmine(?) "Doesn't this come with cheese?" and she checked menu, took it back for me and they made a new one. She apologized multiple times but I wasn't upset and told her it was "Okay. You're making it right so don't worry." I tried their side Pea Salad which had a lot of diced ham in it and creamy sauce but I couldn't really taste much. It may have been because of the strong tastes from Cuban sandwich. I was rather full after finishing the appetizer so I took my salad and 1/2 sandwich home. A good crowd was coming while we were there and the staff was handling it well, dine in and carry out orders as well. Prices were 2-3 $'s which was fair for the high quality ingredients in their dishes. Wagu need in their smash burgers and my sister's Patty Melt . Facilities were basic and clean, though I felt like I was in an elementary or Jr High bathroom as the stalls were shorter! Lol As high as my shoulders (I'm 6'1") no hiding in the BR for me! Best burger I have had in a long time. Perfect amount of lettuce tomato and onion for patty size. Many places don't have a clue that this is very important for a good burger. On the down side the fries are good but a little on the salty side but I don't like salt as much as most people. Also the onion rings are good quality but are frozen. I don't know of anyplace that batter dips onion rings so you can't count that against them read more
