Hate to leave bad reviews but this ain't it. Food wasn't great. Would not recommend. Not much taste.

I ordered nachos, my guest ordered a burrito. This was absolutely the worst nachos I have ever had. Chips out of a bag, all ingredients were cold. No cheese - I went back to the counter and requested cheese, the person ladled cold white queso onto the cold chips. My guest reported that the burrito was "adequate". We agreed that we will never return to this place. I will say that we did eat the food - we had been hiking all day and we were hungry, so anything was better than nothing. But please keep in mind that we are not "picky" people. Bad food is still bad food. Let me also mention prices. Had this been an inexpensive meal, we could have excused to some extent the poor quality. But this was not a bargain experience. My advice - stay far away from this place. read more

I did a takeout. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with a few addons. The quesadilla came with all the addons, but no chicken. In addition the quesadilla was wrapped in foil. The foil held the steam in and made the quesadilla a soggy mess by the time I got to eating it (which was not long after I picked it up). I tried contacting them via the order email confirmation I received. That didn't work (email was undeliverable). They sent me a text message with a link to provide feedback about my order. Loved this place! Great food and the service was brilliant. The guys working behind the counter were very friendly and helpful as they could tell we were visiting from out of town. It was almost time to switch to lunch and my girlfriend ordered an orange juice with her meal. They came outside to our table and asked if she would like a refill before they put the juice away. The restaurant was clean, had a hip vibe on the inside, and the seating outside was great. Highly recommended! read more

Food is ok, but I thought it was weird they don't have ground beef. I also was not happy with THIS salad that I paid $18 for! Seriously, $18!!! Had I got the salsa and the sour cream ON the salad, they wouldn't have charged me $4 extra for "on the side". But bc I wasn't sure I'd like the salsa, so I asked for it on the side. Did a doordash order. Acted like they never took doordash order before. Called and had to talk through order on phone still got it wrong. Tacos were supposed to be corn tortillas not flower. Ordered a 24 inch big foot burrito. Got 8 inch regular burrito with no Yalla sauce. Food that we did get tasted okay. But not worth the premium prices. read more

Wanted a quick bite after a lovely hike. Maya was listed as one of the 5 most delicious restaurants in Logan! Easy parking right outside, walked up to counter not sure how the process worked. The employee wasn't very knowledgeable about the system either. A single sheet of paper gave us options. Firstly the meat choices- well there were only 2 - ground beef or pork, out of chicken, steak and fiesta mix! Good job I like pork! Had a bowl with rice, grilled onions, corn salsa and beans. It was OK! Nothing special and I won't bother going again. In my view certainly not a delicious restaurant. read more

I saw an employee take out the trash wearing gloves. when they came back in they didn't change gloves and started making food.

We stopped on our way through and So very glad we did! We each got a chicken burrito, loaded with vegetables, Black beans, rice, guacamole and sour cream. We got the Verde/green sauce on it, too. The burrito was not too big and was actually quite filling and satisfying. The flavors were so good together, you can tell a lot of love went into the recipes. This is not a chain, so come and get yourself a good burrito if you are on the road because it was just right to eat in the car. read more

Good food, fast service. The chicken quesadilla was nothing special -- rather small. But the Acapulco was great.

I got here at 6:50-they close at 8:00-yet they were already out of several basic food items. I did order and took my food out on their patio, which I'm happy to see is nonsmoking but pet friendly. It was also close enough to the Gazebo up the street so it was a nice place to hear the decent band playing there. Sadly my burrito bowl was barely warm. It looked really good though. The pork was basically without flavor but the veggies were fresh and well prepared. When I went back to return my tray and refill my drink the doors were locked. Meh. read more

Now open for breakfast !! You will not find a breakfast of this caliber in Hocking or Fairfield County's this is a Columbus or big city level breakfast. It's obvious that it is chef prepared. Maya opens at 8 AM. this is our first time here but we will be back again and again food quality is off the chart amazing !! read more

Great burritos! Excellent. Don't really recommend any salsas or guacamole for small serving of chips. Their 'large' is tiny.

It's not bad, it's not exceptional. The place is very much like a Chipotle. If you understand the process at the national chain, you understand the process here. However, there are deviations in the menu and with flavor, as this is not a Chipotle. Also, unlike Chipotle, this is a family business in a small town. As such, food prep is reasonable for the area by the season. They do not over make volumes of food and throw out the excess. Best to ensure your expectations and your consideration are in alignment with such. The folks there have always been friendly, even when busy. And, the place has always been clean when I visited. read more

We had a taco with all the fixings. The food is made right in front of you. You can pick out whatever you want to put in it. Everything was fresh and the seasoning is great. The taco was so large, I couldn't eat it all. I had to get a takeout container to finish it later. Will definitely come back. The staff is friendly and efficient. My SO and I stopped here in the way home from a long road trip. We wanted something better and healthier than fast food and we found it here! Leaving Athens for Columbus. Saw the Maya Burrito sign off the road. WE LOVE BURRITOS. Took a chance. So glad we did! Local pick-your-chain style burrito place concept. But everything they do is similar but better. We did the burrito bowls both with Adobe style chicken. Amazing. Everything checks the boxes. I follow a plant based diet so I was really excited to find a place not too far from our cabin that had vegan options. When I went there to order, they were out of white rice ( I hate brown rice) and they were also out of guacamole so I didn't get anything. I was pretty disappointed. Stopped in for lunch. Spacious dining area with various seating options-booth, table with chairs, or outdoor patio seating that also happens to be pet-friendly. Had our little dog traveling with us so that was perfect. I tried their fiesta mix of meats with veggies and cream sauce to go on nachos topped with fajita veggies, black beans, cheese, sour cream and their delicious lava salsa made from Mexican peppers. My hubby had chicken with beans Nachos served with variety of toppings including corn salsa. We appreciate how you are given a choice of corn or flour tortillas even for tacos. You can't beat their prices--only $2.50 for chips and queso. For dessert we had homemade brownies but muffins are also available. Menu items are very affordable and made from quality meats and ingredients. not done cheaply. Will visit again. read more
