What a cool restaurant! Its a gem of a place for downtown Logan. The menu is almost identical to Chipotle. I like the interior and HUGE covered front patio better than any Chipotle I've ever been to. (Especially the much too small location in Lancaster.) The exposed brick walls and four flat screen televisions add to the interior of the restaurant. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because although the prices are just a tad lower than Chipotle, the portions are a lot smaller. I WILL return! read more

Maybe it's because I'm spoiled with chipotle, hot heads, and moe's, but I really didn't like it. I disliked it so much, that's all we could talk about all night. Disappointed in the beans, chicken was burnt, no good sauces, and the salsa just tasted like tomatoes and onions, salsas are more flavorful than just that. Stopped in while in Logan for a quick bite. It's definitely a Chipotle knock off. Restaurant was very clean and service was polite. Pretty much same options as Chipotle and good quality ingredients. They were very generous with most of the accompanying elements but the meat was rather sparse in the dish. I liked that they had two sizes of chips you could purchase to accompany your meal. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating as it was a balmy 55 degrees today. They do have a nice selection of bottled beers as well should you like to indulge an adult beverage with your burrito. Overall a solid choice for lunch or dinner. read more

I have only been to this place once. When I did go I was very pleased. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. However, I only got chicken and cheese and didn't realize that I had to add the extra stuff. It was good and you get the watch them make it. At least I got to during mine. I don't know about the other options of food. The decor is very nice and there is a seating places outside. When I was in there, there was a girl getting set up to sing. So I think they have people come in and perform. I don't know if it everyday though. Other than that the workers were nice as well. The food in Maya is delicious, fresh and authentic. I loved the guac and chips and the salad bowl. I've never tried the pork marinated like that, but I liked it.. so don't be afraid to try new things!! The staff is so friendly. I will definitely come back. read more

UPDATE 5/2016: Went back to Maya after my husband suggested we give it another try. I went in on a Friday night at 6 and was the only customer to come or go. The woman still appeared to weigh the items out before serving them (which seemed weird when your not busy?) so I started to get nervous I made a bad decision. I ordered 2 chicken burrito bowls and chips which they were out of, but she happily made fresh. The chicken had a great "Mexican" flavor, rice has been spiced up with cilantro and cooked appropriately, and the salsa had a bit of a kick. Great food experience, but I'm afraid they may have scared everyone off by listening to customers a little too late. However, as a true "Loganite" and supporting a local business I will do my part to spread the word so we don't loose this great eatery! And no, the owner did not attempt to contact or coerce me after a negative review, we just decided to give it another chance. Happy we did! We live 4 blocks away and will be back often! Original review 12/2014 2 stars: I really really really WANTED to like this place but... The atmosphere was modern and clean and echoed that of a Chiptole, but the service was lacking. Each item I ordered for my burrito was "weighed" in the spoon and poured back in the container if not just the right amount. The food itself was bland. Rice was tacky/chewy with no additional spices or flavor. Chicken was cooked without any taco seasoning or chili powder. Portions were about half that of Chiptole, but prices were the same. Definitely a needed restaurant in our little town.. some of the reviews fault it for being a Chipotle knock off. I look at it more like all food establishments are inspired by something whether it's Grandma's recipes, culture or a favorite restaurant. Either way love that I can go and enjoy another option. If the owner walks in, he greets the customer and checks to make sure everything is good. To me, that local love for the community makes me want to keep supporting our local businesses. It's a chipotle copy, that offers about the same quality of food. Nothing really different, except that they are stingy with the meat. I have to say that my husband got take out to go and it was really good. For a change the flavor was there and our tacos were overflowing with ingredients . While it was a little on the messy side I didn't mind as they were delicious. My husband said that everyone that waited on him was very curtious and he didn't mind the pick up of our order at all. This place was completely awful, we walk in and the place is stale smelling, the we begin ordering our food and there is no fresh food in the bins almost all of it looked old and crusted over from the morning. The workers were horrible, paid no attention or care to me and my family as customers and ruined the entire experience. Wow, Maya Burrito is exactly what the town of Logan needed. I moved to Columbus Oh, two years ago and heard from friends about this place when it was being built. I finally had a chance to check it out this weekend and I was impressed. I've seen inside that building before it was a restaurant and was surprised that they were able to transform it into such a classy, modern looking place. It's bit of a cross between a Chipotle type food in a Buffalo Wild Wings atmosphere. Prices seemed a bit cheaper than Chipotle too. Grab a beer, burrito, and watch the game.
