Chicken bowl

We don't frequent Lancaster much, but we wanted to listen to the Friday evening band in the park, so we got a seat on the shaded patio! It was the perfect location. A pitcher of house margaritas is only $12 before 6pm. They were fantastic and very refreshing! I got the chicken bowl and would order it again. The only down side that I saw about this place was the lack of attention to the restroom. There are two stalls. One was already out of order, so there was always a line on a busy Friday night. When I first arrived, I let the front desk know that the women's restroom was severely short on toilet paper. When I went back later, someone had put a box of tissues in the restroom because the toilet paper had never been refilled. Other than that, we would return again to sit on the patio.

Chimichanga

We were so excited to try this place. We started with the traditional guacamole and it was basically just diced avocado with a TON of lime juice and pickled onion. We were not thrilled with it but no means. For dinner we got the fajita chimichanga (they asked if I wanted mixed and I said sure... they left out that it was an additional $4 up charge) the meal was delicious. My bf got beef enchiladas and he found them very flavorful. This would be a 5 star review if not for the guacamole and unknown up charge. Server was awesome and the place is super cute.

Excellent dinner here on our stop in town! Service was friendly and efficient. Everything was delicious and a great value. Definitely would be back. Atmosphere was festive. We also had fried ice cream which I'm typically not a fan of, but it was delicious. Ingredients were fresh.

Tried this place on a Sunday. I honestly was a bit disappointed. The service was lacking, had to ask for several things and one of the asks regarding how my food came out was not achieved. House Marg was standard. The food was standard as well, chicken and steak seemed tougher than I had at other establishments. Overall, there are better places in the area.

Everything was delicious and reasonably priced! Can't wait to return to this beautiful restaurant and try more menu items!

Came in for lunch, on the early side (like 11:30a on a Monday), lots and lots of staff but horrible service. We were in a section by ourselves, near the kitchen, and a server (not ours) was texting on her phone and annoyed that people were being seated in this area Drinks took forever, same to get a straw. Tried to give the server back one of the menus and she just seemed perpetually confused. Food took a ridiculously long amount of time and they forgot the queso we'd ordered to start. Food was pretty meh...would not recommend, like, not at all.

Third time here and second posting. Have not been disappointed yet. I got the Pizza Birria this round, and it was amazing. Service was spot on and very attentive. I'm looking forward to the next time.

Mexican Enchiladas

Great food with large portions. House margarita and Peach sangria were both excellent as well. They have done tons of work from the Shaw's days and the place looks great and fun. Service was a little slow but the place was packed so it made sense. I have been here 3 times since I found out about it and had great results.

The food was excellent. Tasty and hot. The service was TERRIBLE. I really wanted to love this place. I loved the Bistro when it was in this location. It's centrally located and a perfect stop when visiting downtown Lancaster. Our server, however, made it impossible to like this place. From having to beg for refills to never asking me how my food was to making sure my husband was ok...our male server ignored me. Was it because I'm female? Or maybe because I am a fluffier lady? Or maybe because I have short hair? Who knows--but it was absolutely apparent he had something against me. My husband even flagged him down for me after I had tried unsuccessfully and asked for a refill. He brought my husband (who had a full glass) a refill and not me! Took another 5 minutes to refill my empty glass.

Steak was cooked perfectly to taste (medium rare) and those portions for the price you cannot go wrong

Part of the reason was that the owner kept hanging around our table, talking with us and touching my adult daughters on the shoulder to the point that they were uncomfortable. One thing you should be aware is that an item that usually would be complementary is expensive. The basket of bread which consisted of four small toasted slices of bread with garlic butter on it was four dollars. The bottle of water that they serve seemed to be pretty good however they are six dollars apiece and I believe it's imported. It almost got to the point where I was going to ask the owner to excuse himself as we were there celebrating a birthday and he wouldn't leave us alone, probably because we were the only ones there. When all said and done the bill was over $400 for 6 adults and two children, you should know that they only take cash. They do have an ATM there. Not the experience I was hoping for when celebrating my daughter's birthday. 10/13/26 I am posting a screenshot of the Facebook instant message the owner sent to me in response.

Texas Roadhouse - Birthday cake made from the famous Texas Roadhouse Yeast Rolls!

Every once in a while, a restaurant you think you know well surprises you in a big way. This visit…read moreto Texas Roadhouse did exactly that. We were a pretty good sized group: seven adults and two kids, including my wife and me. One of the kids was celebrating his 13th birthday and had made a rather specific request: he wanted a birthday cake made out of Texas Roadhouse rolls. More on that masterpiece in a minute. Hannah was our server and she was OUTSTANDING. Managing a table our size while also handling other tables is no small task, but she was attentive, friendly and on top of things throughout the meal. I went with the Chicken Critter Salad, which has been my favorite here for years. My wife had the grilled shrimp with several vegetable sides. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Now for our usual restaurant obstacle course: my wife has gluten and dairy allergies, while I have a tree nut allergy and Alpha Gal, with a diabetes kicker just to keep things interesting. I was genuinely surprised to find that Texas Roadhouse has a gluten free menu. Even more important, Hannah took our dietary issues seriously, paid attention to the details and made sure we were comfortable with our choices. That makes a huge difference when eating out with multiple food restrictions. The atmosphere is exactly what you expect from Texas Roadhouse: busy, loud, crowded and energetic. This isn't the place for an intimate conversation or a serious business dinner, but it's absolutely appropriate for families, groups, kids and a casual date. And then there was the birthday cake. The staff actually took their famous rolls and built a two tier birthday cake out of them, using their cinnamon butter as the icing. Look at the picture. This wasn't somebody tossing a few rolls onto a plate and sticking a candle in them. They went all in. For a kid turning 13, they took a funny birthday request and turned it into something genuinely memorable. That kind of effort is what took this visit from a normal night at a familiar chain restaurant to an experience worth writing about. Great job by Hannah and the entire Lancaster Texas Roadhouse team. This one surprised me, in the best possible way.

I still remember earning good grades and getting rewarded with a trip to Max & Erma's and getting myself a Beetlejuice drink. Unfortunately, it seems as though all of the local locations have closed down. But, I am always up for a road trip. When we arrived, the parking lot was full. So, I figured this was a good sign. We went in and got seated right away. Customer service is excellent, and the food is just meh. We all ordered different versions of burgers. I got the BBQ Cola Burger. The server recommended making it a 3 course meal for a few extra bucks. That came with a salad and a cookie. Unfortunately, the salad was the best part of my meal. The Caesar dressing was phenomenal, and the breadstick was a nice touch. My burger lacked seasoning. It was as though they relied heavily on the sauce, and the sauce was very underwhelming. The fries weren't seasoned, so I mixed ketchup and mayo to make them edible. The chocolate chip cookie didn't disappoint. The kids loved the Beetlejuice drink, especially the gummy worms. Sadly, we could've gotten better burgers for cheaper at Mickey D's. But, at the end of the day, my children and I got to make a memory. Our server was amazing, so that was another plus. I doubt we will return anytime soon. BBQ Cola Burger 1-5=1.5. Fries 1-5=1. Caesar Salad 1-5=5! Chocolate Chip Cookie 1-5=3. Customer Service 1-5=5!
