Loved! Loved! Loved! I went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. She loves shrimp tacos! We ordered the Queso with Chorizo and it was delicious! I got 3 steak tacos. My friends both got the shrimp tacos. They also ordered margaritas but I had a water because I had an hour to drive home. Food was very good. The wait staff were so friendly and they were on it! They even came out and sang happy birthday to my friend and gave her a shot of tequila on the house. I love this place! It was clean, food and service on point. Everything was so cute and clean. The decoration was so cute. I would eat here once a week if I lived here. read more

Not bad folks! We are die-hard Los Mariachis fans, but decided to give El Pedregal in Circleville a shot. It was pretty good. I had the Burrito Mexicano and the various sauces really stood out. Not to mention, the red and green sauce looked awesome with the white queso giving it that Mexican flair. Seating was available without a wait and our server was pleasant. read more

I've been here 3 or 4 times, maybe. I believe twice by myself and twice with my lady. Let's just say, if I do come back, I will be by myself. She doesn't really care for it. Me on the other hand, completely different story. All the food I've ordered has been pretty good. The guacamole is my favorite thing though, I order it everytime lol. Nice size restaurant, with a nice bar. I will be back. read more

A clean, spacious Mexican themed restaurant in the heart of downtown Circleville, Ohio. Free on street parking. Greeted and seated promptly. Upbeat Hispanic music playing. Server was prompt and courteous with silverware, menu, complimentary chips and salsa. I liked the chips but the salsa was uninspired. Order taking was prompt and accurate, as was the food delivery. Sadly, my single biggest complaint was nothing was stove hot, not even the plates. The food was struggling to be much above room temperature. The taco meat had a good flavor, not spicy, but only lettuce as a topping. No cheese, no onion, no tomato. The enchilada was just that with a bit of sauce. A spoon of refried beans with a dab of melted cheese, a spoon of rice. No frills, no ambience, no presentation. If the food had been hot I wouldn't complain too much about going again as I haven't found a Mexican restaurant in town significantly better. But for cold Mexican I can get better presentation, cheaper at fast food place. read more

It has been A couple of years ago but reading the reviews confirms what I decided then. The only thing keeping this place from being a very good place to eat is how they view their customers. Most people from this region think black pepper is an exotic spice and that is the customer base they cater to They have good service and decent quality but little flavor read more

Everything was unmatched! Food was so good, drinks & service was fantastic!!!!!! Love it all!!!

I have been to this restaurant twice now while doing some hiking in the area and have been pleased both times! The service is very friendly, the food comes out fresh and fast, and there are a lot of good menu items to choose from! If you can make it during lunchtime you can get a great amount of tasty food for not a lot of $$$. Before tip the burrito and lunch fajitas together were around $22 which is excellent for a sit down restaurant these days. read more

Always wanted to stop and try this place. Had my opportunity, while on the way to Logan Elm for Friday Night Football. I ordered the # 145. POLLO MAYA $15.29 GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST TOPPED WITH BROCCOLI, CAULIFLOWER, ZUCCHINI, SQUASH, & CARROTS WITH CHEESE SERVED IN A SKILLET. Positives: 1. Clean restaurant 2. Friendly attentive staff 3. Adequate salsa and cheese dip 4. Quick and rapid drink refills The description and picture looked like something I would enjoy. The food came out just as described. I only had a couple of issues. Negatives: #1. Vegetables were hard - not cooked or steamed. #2. The portion was pretty small. Not worth the price. In conclusion, it was ok - I would eat there again if I happened to be in RoundTown, but I doubt I would make a trip just to eat there. read more

El Pedregal - #145: POLLO MAYA - Mexican Near Me - Circleville, Ohio

I LOVE El Pedregal. This place is one that my partner and I visit almost weekly. They are top notch when it comes to flavor, service and value. The wait staff is always so incredibly nice, and the place is always so insanely clean and well put together. You are made to feel like family here. I've come to find this is the best Mexican food around the area, and I cannot explain enough the type of magic that kitchen creates. The bar staff is always so welcoming and sweet. I will continue to return week after week for my favorite dish around, and the best company you can find. This is also a local restaurant that gets involved with community events like trick or treating, where we watched them go above and beyond for the local children this past Halloween. They truly are the best place out there, and the quickest service in the area. I LOVE YOU EL PEDREGAL! read more

El Pedregal - Quesa Birria, Rice and Refried Beans - Mexican Near Me - Circleville, Ohio

Staying in Circleville for the night we found El Pedregal based from their high reviews, and they did not disappoint! A fairly large restaurant with lots of seating, we got right in on a Friday night. Our server was attentive and got our food to us right away. The alcoholic beverages come in large glasses. Their cocktails and margs are beautiful and tasty. The menu has a lot of choices for some delicious Mexican food. I got the chimichangas with shredded beef. The chimis were a decent size bursting with flavor. The beans and rice sides were good as well. I really loved that they brought separate salsa bowls for each individual in the dining party. No chance for double dippers when people have their own bowls. Great service and delicious food make El Pedregal a top recommended place to go if you are in the area. read more

Yes, it is on the beaten path a couple miles from the main highway, but such wonderful tasting food so worth the effort definitely coming back Wonderful salsa and queso people are very nice and friendly very clean organized a bit off the beaten path but so worth it. We had fajitas and a mixed lunch bowl very very good. read more

We stayed at the neighboring Castle Inn and were looking for s ok someplace to eat. We waded through a sea of fast food places before we found this gym. The decor was fantastic. The food was well a bbn over par. Service was great. The drink were the best. They have a large menu with something for everyone. Everyt hu ing tasted fresh not frozen or premade. The only downside was parking. There is some steert parking. In the back It was mostly reserved parking spaces.. There were some that had very ancient coin operated meters. I hadn't seen anything like that since I was a kid.. But other than the parking fiasco it's a great place. read more

Place is amazing workers are friendly and quick. Food is awesome. And the vibe is great especially when sitting at patio

I tried the chili rellenos which were wonderful. It was my first time inside. Lots of cozy booths and tables. A patio in summer. I'll be back. It looks like parking is also in the rear if the Main Street of Circleville is hopping. read more

El Pedregal - Texas Margarita - Mexican Near Me - Circleville, Ohio

Always a good meal and love the margaritas! Service is excellent, fast and never a disappointment. Love the patio in the summer.

We've stopped here a few times when we were in town over the past 12 months. This isn't "real" Mexican food, as your annoying friend who went to Cancun once (and probably ate at the Hard Rock) will remind you. But it's classic TexMex that you'll find at thousands of Mexican restaurants across the nation. And that's not a bad thing! Sometimes familiar is exactly what you're looking for. The food was tasty, atmosphere was nice, the beer was cold, the service was good, and the place was clean. That's a winning combination with me. read more

Thank god we finally got an authentic Mexican restaurant in Circleville. We gave them a while to get settled in and get thru the growing pains when they first opened and they hit the ball out of the park for sure. Both our meals were very good and the service was great considering the place was packed. The margaritas were strong and very tasty for sure. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back and try more authentic items from their menu! read more

Love this place consistently. Good food every time. Never had a bad experience. Keep up the good work.

If I wanted crap Mexican I would have just went to Columbia for it. This restaurant was a bad choice. The ingredients were not fresh. Tortilla was hard as a rock. Service was terrible. Waiter almost charged me for a part of my order that we never received. Water tasted metallic. I had to wait 10 mins before even getting a drink order. Never checked on us to check drinks, if everything looked good, needed anything or even recognize we didn't get part of the order. Then we waited a whole other 5 mins just to get the check. Whoever rated this place to get them 4 stars on Yelp is just content with shit food and service. Yelp let us down on this one. read more

El Pedregal - Mexican Near Me - Circleville, Ohio

My experience here is through a takeout order. I was on a Sunday afternoon date with a guy and he absolutely thinks the food here is super so we ordered and we drove into town he ran in and picked it up I personally believe the menu was done well and it had some combinations and foods that I had not experienced before. So I will say that their offerings are well above many Mexican restaurants in Greater Columbus. So there is definitely a major Plus for them I will absolutely guarantee you that you will more than likely agree with me that the taste of the food and the portion size is far better than some of the bigger named Mexican restaurants in Columbus I fear that because they are in Circleville that disposable income is less than it might be in Columbus with a much smaller population and I do not want those types of things to impact their success. The guy and I never did get a second day so that's not a loss but I did find a new restaurant that is well worth driving to Circleville for read more

I ordered beef tacos and nachos to go. I just live blocks away and when I got home the nachos had water in the bottom on container from all the lettuce. My the time I got thru lettuce and could find beef it wasn't even cooked all the way the same with beef on tacos. I had 2 small cups of sour cream in the bottom of the bag that was room temperature that I didn't order and was charged for. This was a nightmare. When I placed order on phone the girl hung up on me without even telling me a time when it would be ready. I got there in about 5 mins and of course my order was already on counter waiting on me. This explains why they add about quick service on website because it's not cooked completely. When I called to speak with someone they sounded like the could speak English but when I asked for manager that changed and manager not in for 20 mins. Most expensive bag of burnt tasting nachos chips I have ever paid for. now they want a star to complete experience when they don't deserve one. read more

El Pedregal is our "must have" on our weekly trips to Circleville during basketball season. The street tacos are a fave.

This restaurant is the best. Service is always good. Food comes out hot and tastes fresh. Margaritas are perfect.

We often ride through Circleville and stumbled across this place. I am so glad we did, I love it! Nice little outdoor patio, plenty of seating inside. I have tried a couple of different things and both have been delicious, my picky husband even likes the food. I can't wait to go back. read more

My wife and I stopped there on the way home from Columbus. Nice restaurant, nice people, didn't like the food very much at all.

Great food quality, decent atmosphere, if a little stereotyped. Service was great and fast. The Fajitas El Padregal is my new favorite Mexican dish, hands down. House salsa was ok, chips were not great. read more
