Man, you do not expect a good Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere Ohio but here one is! Sadly the place was pretty empty but the staff were very attentive and eager to serve. They were very helpful and friendly with some tips on the menu, super fast service, and a very welcoming environment. The margarita was perfect, my Chorizo/chicken dish was absolutely amazing, and the "secret" hot sauce they brought me came together to make for one of the best surprise meals I've had in a long time! This place is amazing and I only hope that next time I'm in town, they are much busier! This is a place you want to stick around! read more

This is hands-down, the best Mexican restaurant in Chillicothe. My wife and I just started visiting this establishment about a year ago and we're very surprised that we had not heard more about it. I am normally rather indifferent in regards to Mexican food, but this place is the exception. It has more of an upscale feel, very clean and the service was top-notch. 10/10 recommend trying this place out. I stopped n at lunch and it wasn't busy. But services was fast friendly and the food was amazing. The staff we're very friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the food excellent. People this place is better than any Mexican restaurant in Chillicothe or Circleville to date. As for the food prices they made since and were fair and comparable to anywhere else. The portions were the same if not better than any of the los mariachis in town and they offered better variety of foods. The owner is one of the hardest working people I've met and seemed very determined throughout the opening process to satisfy everyone and ensure everything was done right. read more

My husband and I went to Roca's last night for dinner. The restaurant was super clean. The staff was amazing. Our drinks never went empty. What the Chillicothe people need to know is that the menu prices were so cost friendly, you can take your whole family there and not break the bank so to speak. The food was fresh and super tasty. I've ate here before and loved but today it was horrible!!! I ordered and my food was not what was not was described on menu so manager came out and took my food back because he said if I wanted the sour cream or pico it was an up charge so he took away my plate that had rice on it and brought back a plate with lettuce and a few tomatoes and a dab of sour cream and this time my chimichangas looked like a cheese roll up and we're soft! First time here by recommendation. The restaurant is easy to get to. There is plenty of parking. We were greeted by a few people right away and seated immediately. The menu is well-organized and has plenty of photos to help one make a selection. We started with a basket of chips, salsa, and creamy jalapeño dip. The chips were fresh and crispy. The salsa and jalapeño dip complimented the chips and meal well. I ordered a Patron Skinny Margarita and it was very flavorful. Not too sweet. I ordered the Tres Garcias, which is a chicken, bean, and ground beef burrito smothered in cheese dip. They do not skimp on stuffing the burritos. Meats were moist, delicious, and very flavorful. Cheese dip was mild in flavor and covered the dish well. We also ordered Pollo Feliz, which is chicken breast covered with green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Served with rice and beans and covered in cheese dip. Everything was fantastic and we will be back. Highly recommend. read more

I came here specifically to try there Bierria tacos and I was very disappointed in what I got the stench coming off my plate was like melted plastic and it tasted just like it as well. Not to over exaggerate but I was so close to getting sick. My boyfriend got the street tocos and we both picked off those they were not the greatest they need to clean the grill and there oil I believe that might be the cause of the taste I've went here before and got the fajitas and they where absolutely delicious so I know they have good food but today was just a bad day or something. The employees are absolutely wonderful sweetest people ever the service was pretty good I couldn't complain about anything thing. Well, the food taste was about the same as any other local mexican restaurant. However, they nickel and dime you to death. I ordered nachos supremas and it had one spoon of sour cream on an entire large plate of nachos. I asked for additional sour cream due to the lack of hardly any and was told that they had to charge me for it. Not good customer service if they want us to come back. Not impressed. read more

OK, so I read the reviews and was really pumped to try this place. I'm giving it four stars based on potential. A newly renovated look is not all I'm interested in. The wait time was about 15 minutes -- not bad. We were seated with no menus, so that needs some work. The bathroom door was swollen and didn't shut and the sink faucet wasn't tight, but I'm sure they'll get those kinks worked out ... When I order Mexican food, I'm used to rice and beans as a given -- that is not so here. My tacos were supposed to come with rice and beans but only came with rice (I didn't mention it because they seemed pretty busy). My husband had to choose between rice and beans with his chimichangas. Let me say that the taste and flavor of the meals were both great (chips could use some warming prior to serving and the salsa could use some heat). The portion sizes were good, but not overly filling. Maybe I'm too used to Tex-Mex. Overall, I'm sure we'll be back. read more

Traveled 1-3/4 hrs to meet family around 2PM on Sunday. Seated immediately but at least 10 mins. to give beverage order then another 10 mins. to get beverages. Restaurant was not crowded but I overheard a man ask another table if they'd ever had their order taken. I believe the restaurant is fairly new, but it appeared to be understaffed. Only saw 1 waitress the whole time there and we had to ask for napkins & refills. No one inquired if we needed anything or if we had any issues with the food. Only positive thing I can say is that the building was new, but the restroom needed paper towels refilled. Visited Nitro WV location multiple times and will stick with that location in the future. read more
