Amazing place! I've come here for years, and they've always had the best food and service for the best price. It's a beautiful restaurant with a well thought out menu and feel. I was there tonight, and some of the worst, and rude people (tourists) were at the table across. Not only were they rude to their waiter, making fun of his accent and appearance when he walked away and disrespectful while he was there, but during their busiest hours, they were mad because they "didn't get enough napkins!" So they chose to grab the basket of wrapped silverware and unwrapped at least 20 of them! Throwing the silverware on the table. Their waiter came back less than a minute later with a stack of napkins for them, and they threw them down and sarcastically said "thanks for nothing". This place is amazing!! Los Amigos is a quaint Mexican joint located within a plaza in Logan, OH. We stopped by after a day of exploring Hocking Hills so needless to say, we were pretty hungry. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away and our server was very friendly. I thought the interior was nice but if they added music it would have brightened the atmosphere a bit. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken soup! It hit the spot on a cold night. I would get this again and am now looking for recipes for this! My boyfriend ordered the Cheese Steak Burritos. He scarfed it right down! I had a bite and it was pretty good and with simple ingredients. The Cancun Chicken dish was hearty but I think the chicken was a little too thin for my taste. Was it the best Mexican restaurant we've ever been to? No.. but it was definitely worth a try! We don't live nearby but I'm glad we stopped by to check it out :) read more

This place is such a hard working business that it's terrible to see rude tourists complaining about wanting this and that constantly while everyone in the restaurant is running constantly. Sat near a group of the most rude people who were so impatient for napkins that the "lady" ran up front and grabbed 4 sets of silverware and unrolled them just to get one napkin. Kept complaining that they needed tortillas even though the meal they ordered doesn't come with them. Keep your pretentious attitude away from hard working businesses. read more

Stopped in while on vacation and this restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall is a diamond in the rough! You expect a small space but it's got a lot of square footage. Booths and tables galore, great for large groups and plenty of room for assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers) that you would not be in anyone's pathway. A handicapped accessible entrance with ramped curb but someone would have to hold the door for you. Their chips and salsa are good: salsa is thinner but nicely spotted with bits of onions and cilantro. I had steak Burritos Mexicana, which had basically steak fajita mixture with mushrooms. The flavors were fantastic! A white cheese sauce on top plus lettuce, spot of guacamole, tomato. Steak was cut smaller but if any contents fell off fork you could easily scoop with a chip for another flavor explosion. My sister the Special Combo: chile relanos, tamale, beef burrito, beef taco with cheese and tostada plus rice and beans. The flavors of her items was equally fantastic. Plenty to take home to enjoy again later. The decor here is wonderful, every booth divider and chair back is painted with scenes or items of traditional Mexican culture. Even the table tops have artwork on them. Facilities are 1 person seating for M/ F. Service was prompt from entering, very little wait time to get seated, and from ordering food to its delivery maybe 10 minutes. It was a Sunday after noon before Memorial Day so not peak time 4pm. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great experience, great tasting meal and prices were Very affordable for the quality and quantity of food. This place deserves 1.5 stars really. But first, the atmosphere of the place was very dead. The lighting was very dim/dark with no like lights popping somewhere else. There were also no music or background noise, so it felt like everyone was trying to eat as quietly as they could. The place comes with chips and salsa. The food we ordered on the menu was very bad quality. The veggies were not fresh at all, the beans didn't taste done or fresh as well. The one good thing was that this place was incredibly cheap. So I do feel like I ate for what I paid for, but also incredibly bad quality. The people who were working were very nice and friendly. But overall, if you're trying to save your buck, this place may be the place to go to. read more

When we arrived there were no cars in the parking lot. Service was slow and inattentive. Server was cold and lacked concern while he chose to clean a table instead of take our order when we waved to get his attention. We visit HH often and wanted to try this spot but we would struggle to find a reason to return. Good salsa but paired with stale chips. Choripollo which is one of my favorites was mediocre. Dry chicken and rice. And no tortillas? How do you make dry Mexican food? Carne asade was over cooked and fatty, not like it should be. My wife and I got in the car and said we've had better and more fresh food from America's favorite Mexican fast food restaurant. Then... as we went to pay, we were overcharged a random amount of $6.15 over our bill. When I asked to see the original check there was hesitation and nervousness. Server returned $7.00 back to me in cash and when I said that was too much, he said "it's okay man". I did tip 15% but writing this review I'm truly not sure why. Was this an overcharge scam in the works? I knew a friend in college who did this at a job and shorted people change and took from the till. Until he got caught. Beware of what your card is charged and double check if you chose to dine here. Restaurant was very clean and following safety protocols, so I'll leave on a positive note. read more

We stopped in after a long day of hiking. We were hungry and the reviews looked good. My kids ordered off the kids menu and both had special requests of only beans, no rice. They got exactly what they requested. My husband got the tacos carne asada. The hot sauce served with those was fantastic. I stole half of it. I got the vegetarian fajitas. They were great, they had broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms. The refried beans were very good as well, definitely better than most Mexican restaurants. Deeeelicious! The closest Mexican flavors I've found since moving here from the Phoenix area. . I wouldn't say it was traditional,, but when you have a craving it fills the spot. I ordered the Arroz con Mariscos and the scallops were tender & the shrimp succulent. The Con Queso was melted perfectly into the rice. There actually was Cholula's & Habanero sauce on the table, not the horrible substitute most restaurants have. Very limited bar, but the Marguerite Texanas tasted just fine. Very soggy upon arrival. Mexican Rice: disappointing. I must have gotten the bottom of the pot since my rice was burned and crispy. It was cold, dry, and did not have much seasoning. Enchillada: Not as bad, but still disappointing. Extremely mild and flavorless. It had the melted cheese sauce in it. Must have been microwaved. Pros: Chips were warm. Salsa was plentiful. Soda was good. Clean. Server was attentive. Cons: Quality of food. Greasy. Rice was burned. Recommendation is to go to Taco Bell. Its not fancy, but food is MUCH better. read more
