Biscuits and Gravy
Emy H.

This was our first visit since we've moved to Tucson. Overall, I would say it was a pretty good experience. The ambience of the place is very cute. It has a lot of old style decor and it has this old pancake house. Feel to it like a place you would find in the Midwest. The staff was very friendly and took our order promptly. The coffee was not good so I absolutely do not recommend drinking any of their coffee. The apricot crêpe was good however I felt the crêpe was a little too thin and dry, so I was really using a lot of the apricot sauce to help moist in it. The biscuits and gravy were good however I felt the gravy was a little too thick, but that's just personal preference. The pancakes were absolutely delicious. If you come here just order the pancakes because those were extremely worth it.

Traditional breakfasts with bacon pancake, crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs and bacon

Millie's Pancake Haus in Trail Dust Town off Tanque Verde is well-known locally for breakfast and their scrumptious pancakes and waffles. My daughter and I had the Traditional breakfast. I opted for Bacon Pancakes with my scrambled eggs and bacon, while my daughter tried the buckwheat waffles. We had little pitchers of maple syrup and their house specialty - Butter Syrup, yup buttery butter syrup! There is also a variety of potato choices from hash browns and traditional home fries to extra crispy ones like I had. Altogether it was a fantastic experience with delicious food. Kid Friendly, quaint atmosphere, super friendly wait staff, great coffee, quick service - Five Stars, Highly Recommend

Consistently delicious hot breakfast, brought quickly by friendly staff, with coffee always refilled. Our favorites are the Millie's country breakfast with eggs, meat, and a pancake or waffle.

Great variety of breakfast favorites. Large space with lots of tables. Friendly service. Right there in Traildust Town.

Great breakfast eatery. Casual atmosphere with great staff. Had your basic eggs, hash brown and bacon. Friend had a waffle, which looked great. I'll probably try that next time. Located in Trail Dust town, which has the old west vibe. Worth tie visit

Millie's was part of a great afternoon. Inside, the Christmas decorations were still up... delightful. The patio seating was comfortable and plenty of it. Our server, Annie, was tentative and (above and beyond), brought a water bowl for the dogs.

Located in Trail Dust Town, it's a busy and quaint restaurant. There are specials posted by the front door, but there are many breakfast options to choose from. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, always checking if we needed a coffee refill. The pancakes were good, but the pork links were lukewarm. I definitely plan on returning and trying other menu items.

The toast and jam...that jam is to die for! Husband enjoyed his french toast and fruit, as well! We were both very impressed. Service was good too, I was never in need of anything, and my coffee was filled when I needed it! It was also very clean and wasn't overly expensive. The line was the usual long line and with my dog, was much better as people talk and pet dogs in line and it went fairly fast. The line was in shade with the nearby tree so it made it that much better. The ambiance is the misters around that are welcomed by all, the pretty tree and greenery and fencing and signage they have used to decorate this small outdoor place so well. The shaded and covered tables outside had various chairs and enough space for people to rotate in and out- esp with our dogs that love the cool brick to lie on:) Now, the absolute best part is the food- still amazingly worth waiting for and delicious!! I got the burrito( basic has potato, egg, beans , cheese) and the protein I added was bacon and extra was guac. Also got the 16oz Dirty Chai. My friend came for first time and was surprised to open her order and find two burritos- I knew and wanted to see her face- she loved the taste and the fact she had lunch or dinner later as one truly is so full of deliciousness- it fills you up! We each had one we took home ! This place- just a treat for anyone wanting fantastic and pure local service and food! Highly recommend!!!

I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Teaspoon is one of the best overall restaurants in Tucson…read more I've been here a few times over the last year or so. It has never disappointed in service, quality or taste. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

This might be first come first served but I am not totally sure. The food is a really good spread of options. Pancakes, german pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict(s) monte cristo, omelets, croque madame, country chicken with biscuits and sausage gravy, chilaquiles con pollo, avocado toast, savory crepe, and even a breakfast pizza. Oh and they offer a few skillet options too-southwest, loaded baked potato, and sausage and peppers skillet. So many options!! I can't speak too much for lunch but I did see burgers on the menu. Not too helpful in that arena sorry. The eggs Benedict with ham was awesome. Side of potatoes with a bit of all seasoning and a side salad with awesome light dressing comes with it. The dutch baby was also great. A german pancake served savory with sausage. Huge portion. He said it was his favorite and I can see why. The salmon and asparagus were perfectly cooked. The Parmesan risotto was slight under and crunchy but the flavor was so good I didn't mind. We came during May, when it starts to get warm, but he did well since there is a good amount of shade out on their patio and they provided a nice big water bowl for our special boy. The staff also were kind enough to move one of our chairs out of the way so our dog had lots of room to lay down. Staff were all very kind and never seemed annoyed with the dog (you can always tell at a restaurant if they are, and they were very happy to accommodate him). Very dog friendly!! The food: We gotta talk about their French onion soup. It was pretty dang delicious! The broth itself is quite nice, a nice cheese portion, and the baguette was divine. I also had their French Connection sandwich (with a side of fries), and it had a great combo of ooey, gooey cheese, firm and flavorful ham, and served on a really delicious loaf. Really solid fries, too. We didn't end up getting any drinks but saw several people ordering yummy looking bites.
