Ambience: Taken back to my grandmothers house. She was Danish , but very European grandmothers house feel. Very well decorated, wooden floors , soft music in the background. Food: Sourdough bread with herb butter is delivered first. Awesome soft bread . For an appetizer we ordered the potato cakes. Thin delicious golden brown server with sour cream and apple sauce. Main dishes: kielbasa sandwich with pickle soup cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes and pirogi's. The pickle soup is amazing. A nice dill soup with meat, potatoes and carrots. Kielbasa sandwich: big full of sausage, pickle, tomato and slaw. Delightful. Cabbage rolls : HUGE, topped with homemade tomato sauce. My son says they are the best he has had. Guess I'm not making them at home anymore. Dessert: Polish apple cake with ice cream. Apple cake chock full of apples with a nice cinnamon finish, a must dessert for dinner. The staff is absolutely awesome. Our server Lex was wonderful, knowledgeable and very helpful with our questions. All in all a fantastic visit and wonderful meal Happy eating all.

Polish Cottage is a hidden gem and absolutely worth a stop if you're craving something different. I went with the Polish Combo Plate--stuffed cabbage, smoked sausage, hunter's stew, and four pierogi--plus potato pancakes and a bowl of żurek. Everything hit. The sausage had fantastic flavor, and the hunter's stew was a standout (first time trying it, won't be the last). The pierogi--beef and potato/cheese--were both excellent, and the stuffed cabbage was comforting with a rich, well-balanced sauce. Not many great Polish spots around, but this one delivers. Easy parking, cozy cottage atmosphere, and food that feels authentic and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit. Plus the service is great and delivered with a smile!

This was place OUTSTANDING so much that we went back two days in a row! We were down for a girls trip and fell in love with the place! Service was top notch! The pierogies were DIVINE! We got the potatoes with cheese and beef-both were phenomenal. I love the kielbasa and cabbage roll. The beef stew appetizer was also delicious but wish there was a bit more on the plate. Finally the desserts, the strawberry pierogies were very good but I didn't care for the sauce on top as it made it too sweet so maybe ask for that on the side BUT THE APPLE CAKE ROCKED MY SOCKS CLEAN OFF! Don't leave with out it! And if you see a pair of socks anywhere, they're probably mine!

My son wanted a break from Mexican food. Lol. So I start scrolling on Yelp, took me a while but this place finally popped up on my app. Polish food in Tucson? No way!! What a lucky find. This place has two separate dining rooms and is beautifully decorated, it's like we stepped into someone's dining room in Poland. We were warmly welcomed by Karolina. Throughout the entire meal we were well taken care of. I wanted a nonalcoholic drink and mentioned that I love pineapple. Karolina said she will make me a pineapple mocktail. It was absolutely delicious. Here is what we ordered: - Pickle Soup - 8 Pierogis + side of Potato Pancakes - Hunter's Stew - Stuffed Cabbage + side of Vegetable Salad - Apple Cake It can't get anymore authentic than this. The food tastes like it came from recipes that has been passed down. I love pickles and I just had to try their pickle soup. It was the most unique thing I have ever had. Loved it!!! The Stuffed Cabbage is a winner. I ordered 8 pierogis and I was perplexed as to why I couldn't order 2 each of the 4 fillings. You are only allowed to pick two. I wished they offered fried pierogis as well. My son loved boiled ones so he enjoyed these more than me. It is not often I get a chance to have a Polish traditional dessert. So we ordered their Apple Cake. It was served warm where you can still see the steam. Get this!! Yelp needs to put this on their 100 list of Best Restaurants.

Decided to randomly stop here for dinner and was not disappointed! Stared off with a honey beer while we waited for our food because we hadn't had that before. We're a fan of mead so decided to adventure. The beer wasn't overly sweet like some of the meads I've had and was closer to the taste of a honey toast. I ordered the Hunter's stew which I thoroughly enjoyed. The sausage was a nicely smoked kielbasa and the Sauerkraut had a nice flavor and consistency. I wasn't really able to taste the differences in the meats in the kraut aside from the texture. If you like Sauerkraut then you'll like this dish! Not pictured was the flight of granny's liquor which was nice 4 drink flight of their various berry Schnaps options which were good. We weren't planning on a flight but our waitress was able to see right through us and ask if we were after the flight which was not on the menu and we absolutely agreed to try. This restaurant is definitely saved in my bookmarks for when I'm in Tucson again.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls I ordered 2 so I can take 1home.Get the fried potatoes! Delish

Service was good, very attentive and explained what everything was. Food was delicious-my Bushi made cabbage rolls with tomato soup and ground beef w/rice. Pierogi were delicious. Ended up taking cucumber salad, hunter's stew, sweet cream pierogi and kolaczki home. $119 for 2 combo plates, bogo 50% pierogi, 2 beers, mozzarella sticks, and strawberry crepe home. Decor plates, spoons, pictures, Small restaurant, but pretty busy for a Tuesday 5:30 dinner. I may be back for happy hour.

Cool spot that serves polish food. Came in for some to go pierogies to cook at a later time. They have a few Polish beers which I was excited to try the place has two dining areas. The restaurant is like what a Polish grandma's house would probably be like.

A great visit to the Polish Cottage! Had the Polish Combo plate. Hot and tasty as always. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the Christmas holidays. Beer selection is lacking a little due to import issues. Can't blame the restaurant. I've been having a hard time finding any of my favorite imported beers from Ukraine and Romania as well. The cost of the imported beers has increased as well. About a dollar more than it was in March. But still worth it for the joy of Polish beer paired with Polish food. Highly recommend the Polish Cottage to anyone who want to try a taste of Eastern Europe.

I went here for my husband and I's date night this past Friday night. We got there a little bit before 7pm and they closed at 8pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant that we could tell, though a couple left shortly after from the opposing room, which we didn't look in. We were given the option of a table or a booth and picked booth. The service was friendly and the server was great at answering our questions! I will say that service could have been better though.. we ordered two cocktails. When the server came around and asked how the drinks were I let her know that one we enjoyed however the other, we did not like at all (do NOT order that apple cocktail)! She answered, "okay" and walked away. I was hoping she would address it later maybe, especially since this happened after the other issues we had during our meal. However, she never brought it up again so I thought it was odd that she ended that interaction that way. I don't understand the point of asking if you don't really care about customer's answer. Just don't ask. If I feel it's a great enough issue, I will bring it up. The other issue I'm referring to regarding the service is our server being very out of sorts. After ordering our cocktails, we also ordered two appetizers while still looking at the menu. A little bit later, we then ordered our meal. We got the two person combo, both with Hunter's Stew. One thing I didn't expect was free bread. They brought out a couple of slices and some butter so we chowed on that and talked as we waited for our appetizers. Quite some time went by and right when I wanted to check on our appetizers, she came back and admitted that she had only put in the combo order for one person instead of two, and it was ready. She asked if we wanted the one order out now or to wait for the second entrée. We told her that we would wait for the second entrée, but also attempted to confirm that our appetizers should be here now anyway. She responded, " yeah i can get that in." This was a weird response to us since the order should have been in a while ago and now at our table. We had only ordered the potato pancakes and the pickle soup. So I tried again, saying, "but that's ready now, right?" She gave another vague answer, which was strange to me, but I let it go. When confirming our entree order with her again, she needed to be corrected, but stated that she knew that she was just a little off. The next thing they brought out were the 2 entrées. Again, we let it go and just started eating. While we were eating, the appetizers finally came out. While we were eating, they also brought out more perogi (which dealt with the error from before- so the wrong thing was put in I guess).. I didn't want to press the issue. It was the end of the night, she was very apologetic and made amends for the error. On the food side, it was really good! I loved the Polish sausage and the hunters stew! My husband really liked the stuffed cabbage. Neither of us were fans of the perogi, though I'm happy to have gotten to try it. All in all this seems like a great Tucson restaurant to try Polish cuisine.

    Wall decor is precious!

This is such a gem!!! My husband grew up in Pennsylvania near a large polish community. He spent his childhood eating the best Polish food all the time. He was thrilled that we found this place! The pierogis are so authentic- the potato filled is our favorite flavor. The sautéed onions are a must for every bite. We loved the pork and rice stuffed cabbage- which my husband grew up calling "piggies." His grandmother would make them for him, and he loved these! I loved the polish veggie salad - which is best described as a cold potato salad with additional veggies and herbs such as carrots and fresh dill. The restaurant is quaint with the cutest wall decor. The service was so fast, and I don't think we've ever been so joyfully welcomed by the staff at any other restaurant. We can't wait to go back and try more of their food - there are so many other menu items that we can't wait to experience.

Very clean restaurant. A wide variety of polish delectables. Our waitress was very competent and personable. Our meal came exactly as we ordered. We will come again.

Have been wanting to try this place for over a year...I love Polish food and small, family owned restaurants. NOT disappointed. Ate 3/10/24, a Sunday, around 1:30 pm. Punched into GPS so i knew where to make the turn of Broadway, because I always miss it.. Ambiance/Cleanliness-Clean...charming space with little Polish touches/advertising for authenticity. 4 stars. Service-Bella was my server. She was helpful, attentive and informative. Probably one of the best servers I have met in Tucson. 5 stars. Food-Had the Cottage Combo Plate and iced tea. Bread with herbed butter was excellent. This is a stuffed cabbage, couple made-in-Chicago kielbasa links, 4 pierogis (i got 2 beef and 2 potato cheese) with grilled onions, bacon and sour cream, and Hunters stew (sauerkraut with pork). It was all delicious and I will go back soon...4 stars

Parking is in the back and seemed pretty crowded even though I visited during an "off" time -- around 2pm -- for lunch. Still, I eventually found a spot and didn't have to walk too far. The inside of the shop is nothing fancy: order at the window and pick up when your name is called. There are a few 2-person tables inside by the order window and some outdoor tables. There may be some tables in the front, but I didn't make it up there. I had the full-szed Badger as it comes standard (Steak, Pepper Jack, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Pepper, Grilled Jalapeño, Lettuce, Pickles, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic Spread) on Ciabatta bread. Even though I thought I was hungry, it was a LOT of sandwich and I could have been fine with the half. The place was empty save for two other people waiting on orders and they departed quickly upon receiving their sandwiches. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful while I decided what I wanted to order and offered some suggestions. I sat at one of the small tables and enjoyed my hot, fresh sandwich: the sandwich was both temperature hot and spicy hot, thanks to the really nice jalapeños! I'l definitely come back!

Folks behind the counter are very friendly. The only thing I noticed is they seem to struggle with a really clunky point of sale system. There were many looks and gasps of bewilderment from the two folks trying to ring up orders. This significantly slowed down the long line. They have weird policies around adding chicken to the Bobbi salad. It literally makes no sense to charge $3.50 to add chicken to that salad when it costs $2.99 to add it to any other salad. It's the same amount of chicken, according to the folks behind the counter, but they have to do what the clunky point of sale system tells them to do. Otherwise the food is good and it's a decent spot to grab a note to eat. I recommend the bullrider wrap. Don't add chicken to your Bobbi salad. Mayhem.
