Is there anything better than Millie's?? Everytime you stop here you'll be greeted by the friendliest faces and best vibes. Live music and ocean views. You can see the best sunsets in the world from the second floor while sipping on a Madaket Mystery! And don't forget to order a 40th Pole Quesadila - thank me later. So convenient to have a spot this great in Madaket! Chris and Dunn are the best bartenders!

Came to Madaket to see the sunset and placed a pickup order from Millie's through doordash. The order was ready very quickly and I was on my way. They have a little picnic area to eat your take out food. This is a separate area from the outdoor seating for the restaurant and is located to the left of Millie's market. The sweet grilled corn (elote) was delightful and had a nice char flavor. The shrimp and veggie quesadilla was not greasy even though there was cheese inside. There were mango bits inside which felt refreshing. The sour cream and salsa complimented the meal well. The corn clam chowder was not overly creamy and heavy. This left room for dessert at Millie's market. The service was quick and efficient and overall I would give a pass to the food here! It is pretty much the only restaurant in Madeket and they sure made a mark. I would come back again to try their breakfast! One thing to note: bring an extra layer of clothing in the evening.

View from the corner table on top floor - pretty great

My family and I had one of our most memorable meals here. You can't beat the view, and the vibe really hit the spot. Our waitress was kind and attentive. She knew how to get food out quickly for kiddos and also keep the alcohol flowing for adults. We got a lovely spot in the corner on the second floor. It was hot, but it was lovely! The salads were creative and large. I also liked all the fried fish I tried. I appreciated the variety of the kids' dishes and that they came with multiple components. Casual but also a little upscale at the same time - perfect for Nantucket.

Great location near the beach. They have a parking lot and I am ever so grateful they have staff to manage traffic going in and out of the lot. There is a wait to get seated. We didn't have to wait that long though. We got seated on one of the outdoor picnic tables which was great! I mean, the weather in Nantucket is temperate, so we got to enjoy it while we can, right? As soon as we got seated, we got our menus and water handed to us right away. I don't know how, but our server Margot somehow could tell when we're ready or when we need her. Wauwinet Salad was delicious! Poboy Sandwich was satisfying. Street Corn appetizer was somehow both light and satisfying.

This review is for their amazing food cart at Cisco. Best mahi mahi with pineapple salsa taco EVER and good tuna poke. The yellow light rice with taco also best EVER. Will go to actual restaurant next time on Nantucket! Great first time at Cisco Brewery. Our first visit to Cisco and Millie's food cart gave us an A plus late lunch. Nice server!

Dare we say best value on the island? Especially if you are a lobster fan. The Gibbs salad has the biggest chunks of lobster that it would be hard pressed to find a more substantial lobster salad on Nantucket. Hack- get a the creamy basil dressing as extra on the side of the salad. The creamy dressing is the perfect extra complement to the salad. The lobster quesadilla was absolutely stuffed with lobster and enough for two meals. Millie's gets busy pretty early at the evening but the service is quick and attentive and food gets delivered quickly. Come before 5pm if you want to get dinner and then catch the sunset on the beach. Indoors can get a bit loud with how popular Millie's is, but there are two outdoor patios that have lots of tables and full service. Next door to Millie's is the market which has some drinks and ice cream - so make sure to check it out after dinner!

I'm telling you this was the best place to have some really good fresh seafood tacos! The flavors were excellent I had the $28 Eel Point tacos (tuna wasabi) and the $27 Esther Island tacos (scallop) tacos... so good!!! The fresh tacos here are on the expensive side but well worth it! It was a perfect day and walking distance to Madakat Beach!

What a great spot! The food was great, the beer cold and the staff wonderful! Highly recommend!

We didn't go upstairs but from arriving, we could tell this place is hopping and has a ton of crowds going throughout the day. They had tents up so people were sitting outside but we were able to snag a spot at the bar. Great bartenders and servers, the drinks that my friends ordered looked delicious (margs seem to be their forte!). We ordered chips and dip trio and it came out almost immediately. The guac is nice and chunky and I personally was not a fan of the salsa but it had a tangy/cilantro taste to it, if you're into that! We stayed a little later so eventually got to a real table and ordered food. I ordered the shrimp po boy and was astounded by how giant the shrimp were. Needless to say, I was stuffed after my meal. It's a cool spot and only a few steps away from the beach so definitely check it out. Bonus - lots of dogs!

Delicious food! Locals suggested to try this place out for lunch - we knew we are in for a treat with that kind of recommendation. We weren't too hungry so kept it light with soup and salad. Corn and clam chowder soup was tasty and fresh. I enjoyed every single bite of it. Salad was very fresh, crunchy with just the perfect dressing. We got the corner table with fantastic view. Unlike other places, they have better view from inside of the restaurant then outside. Servers / staff was very sweet, prompt and courteous. Do give this place a try, you won't regret it.

This was one of our favorite restaurants on the island and the only one within walking distance of us as we were staying in Madaket. All the casual but elevated dishes we tried here were excellent, and I got to satisfy my lobster cravings multiple times in salads and quesadillas where they didn't skimp at all on the prime ingredient. Although pricey, it was definitely no worse than any other restaurant on the island, but was easier to get into last minute and the only place we visited multiple times. Ambiance out by the beach on a nice day is fabulous. Don't miss this spot if near Madaket.

Westender tacos

We've eaten here multiple times and eaten most of what's on the menu other than the salads. It's all been great, some of the best food we've had on the island and it's very consistent. The to go service is effective and quick as well

When we arrived 15 minutes early, we were told there were no reservations for tonight because it was cinco de mayo. I received no notice or information related to the cancellation, and now I'm being told there is nothing that can be done. This hostess claimed we'd have to wait 35 minutes to be seated. We asked to speak to the manager, and she tried to tell us that it wasn't possible. ZERO help for an issue that was 110% their fault. Thankfully, there were two seats at the bar that just opened up, so we sat there in hopes of rekindling the evening. The counter was disgusting but it was our only choice. After 15 minutes of sitting at a dirty counter and not being served or checked on once, we got up and left. What a terrible experience on our honeymoon. Sure, it was packed, but that gives a business no right to provide terrible service. If you want to make a reservation that means nothing to enjoy a dirty bar, bad service, and incompetent staff - this is the place to go. Wish I could give zero stars.

I love how quickly the food comes, the fair prices, and the friendly workers. The steak is a bit overcooked and they could make it a little juicier but it is seasoned really well and goes perfectly with the sauces to make up for the dry texture. I also really love the seating. The energy is upbeat without being chaotic, and it feels like a place where people are actually enjoying themselves. The food is good and tastes authentically Mexican, which makes sense considering much of the staff is as authentic as it gets. That always matters. Portions are generous, which helps balance out some of the pricing and keeps you from leaving hungry or annoyed. If I had one knock, it would be that prices are a bit higher than they used to be, but honestly that is everywhere and everyone is just trying to survive. Service was fast and efficient without feeling rushed. You can see why this place is a local staple and also a magnet for tourists. It knows exactly what it is and leans into it.
