Cilantro lime Chicken thighs - A plate of cilantro lime chicken thighs topped with crispy bacon strips, served over black beans and rice, garnished with herbs and spices. A small cup of creamy sauce is placed on the side. The dish is presented on a large, round ceramic plate with a decorative rim, set on a wooden table with glasses of water and a cocktail in the background.

Everything was excellent - stellar service, quality cocktails and delicious food! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients - perfectly ripe tomatoes, avocados and corn. Flavors were really bright - I especially loved the pinch of heat on the tacos and the intense chocolate dessert. Best meal we had on the Cape!

I had a spiritual experience eating this food. Divine, especially as a vegetarian. Everything was amazing: the fried avocado tacos, rice and beans, and plantains. I also had some of the tofu from the Inca bowl and it was incredible.

Ciopinno outstanding - A bowl of seafood stew contains various seafood items such as squid, shrimp, and mussels, in a broth. Two slices of grilled bread are placed on top of the stew, garnished with chopped herbs. The bowl is on a wooden table, with part of another dish visible nearby. The setting appears to be a restaurant or dining area.

Food delicious- ciopinno & steamed mussels MUST! Service "Nico" super friendly Ambience "nice muzak" cover playing upbeat tunes We went for an early dinner and so glad we tried it. Popular and we did not have reservations. The sauces are worthy of asking for extra bread to scoop up the last drop.

One of our favorites for Happy Hour. Of course the Oyster are great but the wings are amazing. Truly the best on the Cape in our opinion.

I went for their current advertised Lobster roll special at $23.99. Ordered Exactly as advertised and was charged $25.99. I asked first if it was all claw and knuckle or if they use tail meat too. Oh, definitely both , she exclaimed! I found one small mangled piece of tail at the bottom and it included a sharp piece of shell that hurt my tongue. I told them and showed her the shell. All she did was explain how they try to get it all but they just can't sometimes. I looked at her and said that they aren't doing it right. I asked if she was going to offer me a partial refund and she refused. The Lobster bisque was not a bisque and I don't think there was any lobster in the kitchen when it was made, much less in the pot!! Cole slaw was covered in spicy pepper and neither of us could eat it. Fries were meh! My husband had the fried scallop platter and they were overcooked and super greasy. Disgustingly so. I DK why people like this place but there are so many good places around here where you can get a full service meal, in a real restaurant cooked by real trained chefs and served by professionals who know how to make consumers happy. Total bill with tip was $84.07!!! For a crappy meal with no service and not a clue about customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this garbage.

No aspersions at all, but for the purposes of clarity let me just note that Heart of the Sea is a…read morevery casual cafe, not quite a sit-down restaurant, not the kind of place to take a dinner date you haven't been been married to for, say, more than 5 years. ;) There are a few tables set up for dine-in customers, but I think a lot of their business is takeout. What stands out: Some of the Peruvian / Colombian offerings are fantastic. Staff have a deep sense of kindness and hospitality. Even though they close at 8 p.m., they not only took the Pardner's just-under-the-wire order, but didn't rush us in the least. It wasn't until we'd finished and were on our way out that we noticed the hours -- and that we were 20 minutes past eight. The lobster ceviche was a touch spendy for the price, size, and the amount of lobster included in the dish. But it was very tasty, Peruvian in style and garnished with cancha and sweet potato, just the right amount of heat and acid. Empanadas were, I think, Colombian in style, made out of orange-tinged masa, beautifully deep fried with juicy innards -- wonderful. Tacos were made out of a soft flour tortilla and a hard corn taco shell, I guess not unlike a Taco Bell "chalupa." It was not what the Pardner was hoping for, unfortunately. There were two tacos to an order, which averaged out to be $9 or $10 a taco. Probably a bit steep for those of us who are lucky enough to be in a place where good south and Latin American food is more commonplace. This is the kind of menu I want to get to know. Not everything is to our own personal tastes, but there are some things that this place seems to do very, very well. I'd like to come back for those.
