Probably a decent spot for basic food, a drink, watching sports, and enjoying the atmosphere. The scallops were very good - ~12 nice sized scallops and they were all very fresh and tender. My clam plate consisted of six of the tiniest/scrawniest whole belly clams I have ever seen in my life - I thought they had served me clam strips! The fries were terrible - a nice portion but soggy, limp, flavorless and a huge disappointment. It was obvious that the oil they were fried in was not nearly hot enough so the vast majority of what we were served went into the trash. The restaurant shares space with a fish market so maybe they spend more time and effort ensuring the fish market is run well but from our experience tonight their kitchen is not. Hands down the worst seafood meal I have had on the Cape! I'm glad we didn't try the chowder! So our search for our "fave seafood restaurant" continues. We will not be returning to Surfside Seafood.
