Would've gone 4 1/2 stars if available. Got some smoked wings and a bunch of sides. The wings were good, but the sides were the standout to me. The cornbread, mac and cheese, and truffle farm fries were all bomb. Service was 5 stars as well. Didn't think I could find good bbq on the Cape - but this spot showed me otherwise. Would def return when/if in the area.

I had another wonderful lunch here! The kale salads are amazing and the wings are crispy and delicious. Service couldn't be any better and the people are very friendly here. Consistently delicious food.

I love the name! Block & Tackle....sounds like a great place to watch some college and NFL football! We were able to visit while in Eastham for vacation! Upon entry, we were welcomed and shown to a booth and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. It was a great way to start! We looked at the menu and all of us made our decision for dinner rather quickly! Our drinks arrived and we placed our dinner order. I the smoked chicken plate with cornbread and fries. We also ordered a veggie burger and a cheeseburger one with fries and one with tater tots. As a side dish, we wanted to dry the coleslaw, which was rated a 10 by the two who tried it! Dinner arrived on-time and it was delicious. I had the chicken plate, which was tasty. The cornbread was awesome and the fries were great. I was happy for sure! The cheeseburger plate and veggie burger were rated very high by both parties who finished the entire plate. We were thinking about having some desert but eventually decided against it. The bill came and we were pleased with the total. Very fair Parking- ample Service- awesome Food- tasty Both Indoor and Outdoor places to eat One suggestion: use smaller trays to deliver food so it doesn't look like there is not enough food.....just my 2 cents! We did not stop in the bar....although, I did look in on the way out and the Red Sox were on......as I mentioned earlier, probably a great place to watch some football or sports on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday! Block & Tackle is open year-round, as well 5 stars from me! Great stop and I plan to be back!

We love this year around gem! Whether you decide to belly up to the bar or enjoy the wonderful outdoor picnic table, either way you're in for a special treat! We like to start our meal with one of their perfectly measured , well balanced cocktail! Just like you would find in any high-end cocktail bars but better, cause you're in the cape! So many great meal options, including combo plates with the very best moist smoked meats. Including chicken, pulled pork, sausage and our favorite ribs. Their sides are really good too. If you're lucky they have their homemade potato salad. Which is probably some of the best I've ever tasted. On this particular night, my husband and I shared a full rack of ribs with a side of beans and potato salad. Simply delicious. This is a family run establishment with a well-trained staff. Highly recommend you stop in for lunch or dinner. Or you can order and take it home and eat it on your own picnic table. Either way you won't be disappointed.

There were a few other tables and by the time we left it was picking up with an early dinner crowd. We had a lovely server named Jodi who was attentive & helpful. The windows were open so I am not sure if they have air conditioning but we were not too warm. The food was delicious! We got the Jerk burger, cooked perfectly, large portion! I might get the aoli on the side in the future it was just a tiny bit too much for me but really good! We had a side of plantains which were perfect & made the mistake of upgrading to salads on both. We should have done one with fries & one with side salad. Definitely worth checking out!

There's plenty of bike parking by the beer yard. It was a nice day so we wanted to sit outside and have a few beers in the Hog Island beer garden. Service was great. They were getting prepared for the busy season training some folks, and everyone was very friendly and hospitable. The beer garden itself was a huge grassy area with plenty of seating, a mix of picnic tables and regular tables with chairs. Despite it being right by the woods it didn't seem too buggy which was really nice. After hanging out a bit we decided to get dinner there. We were able to order food right at the beer garden and pick it up at the take out window. The food was awesome! We got a bowl of clam chowder, loaded tater tots, and the Rt 6 bacon cheeseburger with a side of greens. First, they're not messing around when they say 'loaded' tots! Some places put a sad little drizzle of cheese sauce on top, but theirs were thoroughly covered with a delicious beer cheese sauce, fresh bacon, and scallions. The clam chowder was great! Not too thick, lots of clams and clam flavor. And the burger was amazing! A nice, thick, juicy patty that was perfectly cooked, a really fresh brioche style bun with lots of flavorful toppings. We walked through the restaurant itself to use the bathroom and it seemed like they had a lot of seating, a nice bar, and a patio area. The only bathrooms being inside the restaurant was a little annoying, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll have some port-o-potties by the beer yard come the full fledged busy season. Overall a really nice time and we look forward to returning!

There are multiple different seating options, everything from an outdoor patio to high top bar seats, tables, and the indoor booth seating which is what we selected. The dining room is comfortable, and with open windows it provided a nice breath of fresh air. We started with the seafood sampler, a wonderful combination of fresh and delicious shellfish (clams, oysters, shrimp and a lobster tail). We then split appetizers instead of entrees, having the tuna tartare and the Chatham mussels, both of which were excellent. There was some minor room for improvement - after we were done with our seafood sampler, we sat for about 10 minutes while our server Danielle seemed to be in an enthusiastic conversation with Caroline out in front of the restaurant. It provided for some interesting dinner theater, but with so many other employees standing around, it probably would have been an ideal opportunity for somebody else to chip in and take over. Also, the mussels came in a wonderful wine / garlic sauce - some bread would have been a thoughtful addition to soak up that wonderful broth. Fortunately the quality of the food and the vibe of the restaurant more than compensated for a couple of service issues - we visited in late May, so hopefully by the time this restaurant hits the busy season, they'll have the issues worked out. Overall, I would certainly not hold back from referring this restaurant.

Apparently, the owner wanted to re-focus on that part of the business. *shrug* I used to come here around opening and see a lengthy line. The croissants are some of the best in the area. The plain croissant is flaky and light. The ham & cheese croissant is more of a croque monsieur and it's a pretty substantial offering, full of cheese, ham, and béchamel sauce. The individual tarts (lemon, raspberry, etc.) and cakes are beautifully designed and are appropriately sweet. The tart crusts were legit. I'll miss coming here for pastries/desserts. Service was excellent - the host accommodated our last-minute request for outdoor seating and our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable. My fiancé and I ordered the Wellfleet oysters with mignonette and the house focaccia (both a must try!) to start, and the scallops and daily catch (yellowfin tuna) as our mains. For those considering The Wicked Oyster for dinner, I highly caution you to consider otherwise…read more My husband and I (age 40) visited The Wicked Oyster Provisions shop the day before our dining experience and had a wonderful time. The woman working in the shop was hosting a wine tasting, and we left with some delicious provisions as a result. Because of our great experience, we booked a dinner reservation for the restaurant the next evening. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were promptly seated at a 4-top table in the front room. It was a cloudy day, but even so the room was quite dark. One guest dining was using a phone flashlight in an attempt to read the menu at 6pm. A tea light candle would have done worlds for not only the lighting, but the overall ambiance. While the interior paint color was lovely, the 90's hotel art and Home Depot lighting left a lot to be desired. We ordered the fingerling potatoes, Wellfleet oysters, scallops, and lobster cavatelli. The fingerling potatoes (our snack) came out at the same time as our appetizer (the oysters). We were disappointed that the potatoes were quite dry and overcooked atop what tasted equivalent to a jarred romesco sauce. We quickly ran out of sauce in an attempt to resuscitate the potatoes. The oysters were fine, but not notably different than the Wellfleet oysters we purchase from Whole Foods at home, in Colorado. My husband ordered the scallops, which were served in a seasonal corn sauce with zucchini and peaches. The scallop portion was generous, but the sauce left a lot to be desired. He described it as more of an unseasoned creamed corn than a sauce and there wasn't a pine nut (as advertised) in sight. My pasta was equally disappointing. At this price point, I expected a fresh rolled pasta, which was not the case. The pasta was quite flavorless and the "sauce" was runny and unseasoned. It was also served with a fork, which was quite comical for both my husband and the two tables around us with his watery the sauce was. I might also note that I received a quarter-sized chunk of parm on top, rather than a grated garnish. Thinking it was a chunk of lobster, I bit into it and was quite surprised. The service was attentive, but felt a lot more casual than we expected. We were surprised to see what many of the service staff were dressed in athleisure attire. At this price point, I would expect otherwise. We were glad that our water glasses stayed full, but wish that had been with the sparkling water we ordered, rather than the still water poured. Our sparkling water bottle remained largely full as a result. Overall, we are unable to recommend this restaurant. This is only our third year traveling to the Cape, but would far recommend restaurants like The Pheasant, Baliene, or Chatham Fish Pier over this experience. We left thankful that this wasn't our last night in town and had one more chance to enjoy a nice dinner on the Cape.

The food was fantastic. Hubby had the pulled pork inside of baked beans and onion rings, I had the pulled pork with a side of coleslaw and baked beans. Each meal came with a slice of delicious cornbread. Pulled pork was excellent and I topped mine off with their homemade BBQ sauce, which he, the owner, calls everything sauce. The baked beans were very good and had bits of onions, bacon, very flavorful. The coleslaw was their own coleslaw and was very good not like the store brand coleslaw which can be tart and no flavor. We met the owner and the chef who is his brother. We had a nice conversation with the owner whose name slips for my memory right now. Plenty of tables inside as well as picnic tables outside. Unfortunately I live on the south coast of Massachusetts where for the past 20 years I have looked for a ribs place within 45 minutes drive that I considered going back to. Up until now, there were none. That has now changed after my visit to Last Bite BBQ. The ribs were not quite up to GA standards, but close enough. The ribs are served without any sauce on them, with sauce on the side. In my opinion, a really good rib needs no sauce, and these don't. I don't think you will find any better ribs in New England. Both my wife and I really liked the onion rings. My wife really wanted brisket, but thy only make brisket when the weather in warm enough for the cook to hang out outside with the smoker. We will go back in a few weeks when the brisket is available. Lacking brisket, my wife ordered the pulled pork, which she really liked. The people there are all family members and are super friendly.
