Would've gone 4 1/2 stars if available. Got some smoked wings and a bunch of sides. The wings were good, but the sides were the standout to me. The cornbread, mac and cheese, and truffle farm fries were all bomb. Service was 5 stars as well. Didn't think I could find good bbq on the Cape - but this spot showed me otherwise. Would def return when/if in the area.

I had another wonderful lunch here! The kale salads are amazing and the wings are crispy and delicious. Service couldn't be any better and the people are very friendly here. Consistently delicious food.

I love the name! Block & Tackle....sounds like a great place to watch some college and NFL football! We were able to visit while in Eastham for vacation! Upon entry, we were welcomed and shown to a booth and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. It was a great way to start! We looked at the menu and all of us made our decision for dinner rather quickly! Our drinks arrived and we placed our dinner order. I the smoked chicken plate with cornbread and fries. We also ordered a veggie burger and a cheeseburger one with fries and one with tater tots. As a side dish, we wanted to dry the coleslaw, which was rated a 10 by the two who tried it! Dinner arrived on-time and it was delicious. I had the chicken plate, which was tasty. The cornbread was awesome and the fries were great. I was happy for sure! The cheeseburger plate and veggie burger were rated very high by both parties who finished the entire plate. We were thinking about having some desert but eventually decided against it. The bill came and we were pleased with the total. Very fair Parking- ample Service- awesome Food- tasty Both Indoor and Outdoor places to eat One suggestion: use smaller trays to deliver food so it doesn't look like there is not enough food.....just my 2 cents! We did not stop in the bar....although, I did look in on the way out and the Red Sox were on......as I mentioned earlier, probably a great place to watch some football or sports on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday! Block & Tackle is open year-round, as well 5 stars from me! Great stop and I plan to be back!

We love this year around gem! Whether you decide to belly up to the bar or enjoy the wonderful outdoor picnic table, either way you're in for a special treat! We like to start our meal with one of their perfectly measured , well balanced cocktail! Just like you would find in any high-end cocktail bars but better, cause you're in the cape! So many great meal options, including combo plates with the very best moist smoked meats. Including chicken, pulled pork, sausage and our favorite ribs. Their sides are really good too. If you're lucky they have their homemade potato salad. Which is probably some of the best I've ever tasted. On this particular night, my husband and I shared a full rack of ribs with a side of beans and potato salad. Simply delicious. This is a family run establishment with a well-trained staff. Highly recommend you stop in for lunch or dinner. Or you can order and take it home and eat it on your own picnic table. Either way you won't be disappointed.

Went in for a drink and some fried chicken and it was phenomenal! The chicken was juicy and hot and the mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing too. The people are so cool too

You can not miss the smoker outside! This is a hidden gem not yet been discovered by phantom gourmet! Friendly staff willing to go over and above to help you. Thursday's wine was corked for our return to Wellfleet Hotel (hop, skip, or walk but come here).

Unfortunately I live on the south coast of Massachusetts where for the past 20 years I have looked for a ribs place within 45 minutes drive that I considered going back to. Up until now, there were none. That has now changed after my visit to Last Bite BBQ. The ribs were not quite up to GA standards, but close enough. The ribs are served without any sauce on them, with sauce on the side. In my opinion, a really good rib needs no sauce, and these don't. I don't think you will find any better ribs in New England. Both my wife and I really liked the onion rings. My wife really wanted brisket, but thy only make brisket when the weather in warm enough for the cook to hang out outside with the smoker. We will go back in a few weeks when the brisket is available. Lacking brisket, my wife ordered the pulled pork, which she really liked. The people there are all family members and are super friendly. As long as the quality remains high, we will be going back on a regular basis.

The food was fantastic. Hubby had the pulled pork inside of baked beans and onion rings, I had the pulled pork with a side of coleslaw and baked beans. Each meal came with a slice of delicious cornbread. Pulled pork was excellent and I topped mine off with their homemade BBQ sauce, which he, the owner, calls everything sauce. The baked beans were very good and had bits of onions, bacon, very flavorful. The coleslaw was their own coleslaw and was very good not like the store brand coleslaw which can be tart and no flavor. We met the owner and the chef who is his brother. We had a nice conversation with the owner whose name slips for my memory right now. Plenty of tables inside as well as picnic tables outside. The view....right across from the Cape Cod canal. In fact, get your meals to go and cross over to canal parking area to watch the boats going through. If you want to change from the many seafood restaurants in the area, you need to try Last Bite BBQ. I can tell you it won't be our last visit. We will definitely go back.

We splurged for the ribs and brisket combo and it came tender, slow-cooked and tantalizing; and side sauces here are simply world class. (And there are plenty!) The atmosphere is rustic, friendly, and stay awhile chill. Eat inside, take out, cozy up to the bar, plop down on a picnic table outside near a firepit, or just bowl a few strings. Every way's a winner. Because at The Alley, they're committed to doin' it right, y'all, and it just plain shows!

The staff seemed unprepared to handle the crowds, communication was inconsistent, and several employees responded to reasonable questions with unnecessary attitude. There was also no clear manager or supervisor available to address concerns. The reservation system is confusing and inefficient, which only added to the chaos. To make matters worse, nearly half of the arcade games were out of order or malfunctioning, and several took credits without working. It was disappointing to spend money on games that couldn't even be played. One particular young staff member was especially unprofessional--she spoke to customers disrespectfully, provided little to no clear information, and escalated frustration rather than helping resolve it. With better training, stronger leadership, properly maintained games, and a more organized reservation process, this place could be a great experience. Unfortunately, based on our visit, the customer service and overall experience fell far below expectations.

There were a few other tables and by the time we left it was picking up with an early dinner crowd. We had a lovely server named Jodi who was attentive & helpful. The windows were open so I am not sure if they have air conditioning but we were not too warm. The food was delicious! We got the Jerk burger, cooked perfectly, large portion! I might get the aoli on the side in the future it was just a tiny bit too much for me but really good! We had a side of plantains which were perfect & made the mistake of upgrading to salads on both. There's plenty of bike parking by the beer yard. It was a nice day so we wanted to sit outside and have a few beers in the Hog Island beer garden. Service was great. They were getting prepared for the busy season training some folks, and everyone was very friendly and hospitable. The beer garden itself was a huge grassy area with plenty of seating, a mix of picnic tables and regular tables with chairs. Despite it being right by the woods it didn't seem too buggy which was really nice. After hanging out a bit we decided to get dinner there. We were able to order food right at the beer garden and pick it up at the take out window. The food was awesome! We got a bowl of clam chowder, loaded tater tots, and the Rt 6 bacon cheeseburger with a side of greens. First, they're not messing around when they say 'loaded' tots! Some places put a sad little drizzle of cheese sauce on top, but theirs were thoroughly covered with a delicious beer cheese sauce, fresh bacon, and scallions. The clam chowder was great! Not too thick, lots of clams and clam flavor. And the burger was amazing! A nice, thick, juicy patty that was perfectly cooked, a really fresh brioche style bun with lots of flavorful toppings. We walked through the restaurant itself to use the bathroom and it seemed like they had a lot of seating, a nice bar, and a patio area. The only bathrooms being inside the restaurant was a little annoying, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll have some port-o-potties by the beer yard come the full fledged busy season. Overall a really nice time and we look forward to returning!
