The crab soup was delicious and the fried scallop plate was the best I've ever had. The fries that came with it were also delicious. This restaurant is cute and tiny, although sometimes there is more space if they're doing the outdoor seating as well. It's byob, and we brought wine. They give you a plastic cup. Like I said.... Quaint but not fancy. I hope to return before they close for the season here on Cape Cod. They're also open for breakfast and lunch, but I haven't been there for those.

It is an extremely casual counter service restaurant that focuses mostly on fried seafood. They also serve other local staples like clam chowder and a lobster roll that I did not try but is very reasonably priced. The service is good and I was surprised (it was actually pretty cool) to hear some good reggaeton from the early 2000s be the music of choice. If you're from Miami you know what I mean. The fish n chips is very good. Of course, it's on the heavy side (you habe to be okay with that) but tastes great. The fisherman's platter is rather large and the fried scallops are particularly delicious.

We were recently invited by friends to join them for dinner at Moby Dicks and we accepted, excited to try it. I have to say it has been the single most impressive visit I have ever had on Cape Cod. All these years, who knew! I've eaten at Lobster Pot, CBI, the Wequassett, the Wayside, Pelham House and several other top restaurants on this peninsula and none of them have left me feeling like Moby Dicks. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot that was chock full of cars and was assisted with parking my car by a very nice young man to standing in line and being offered fresh tasty watermelon while I waited to the young woman who came around and collected our watermelon rinds to the unbelievably nice staff who kept checking on us during out meal. Who does all this these days? Speaking to the staff, I became aware of their accents. They are from all over the world...Croatia, North Africa and so many more far away places. They spoke very highly of the restaurant's owners and actually said they loved working there. This is a win win situation folks. The staff is happy which encourages them to show up for work - unlike so many places these days. This makes the bosses happy which trickles down to the customer who ends up with the best part of the deal...great food at reasonable prices and a hell of a staff to serve you! I don't do reviews but felt propelled to leave this one. Kudos to you Moby Dicks for making families, friends, couples, etc have one of the best nights of their Summer! Oh BTW, I had the blackened swordfish, my boyfriend had the whole belly clams and our friends had the captain's plate and the kabobs - all of it was fabulous and cooked perfectly. Did I mention it is BYOB? Oh yeah it is :) Don't miss it - Have a great time!

As always, service was friendly and fast, even with a line on a Saturday night! My family always gets the same thing - three cheeseburgers and a large onion ring. I love sitting outside and enjoying my delicious meal on their patio. If you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner that's filling and reasonably-priced, this is it!

Luckily I came across Seafood Sam's to satiate my New England seafood shack craving that had been building since I crossed the bridge. The best part of Seafood Sam's is the large outdoor eating area in the back. Would be a perfect spot for special community events. I just stopped in for a quick lunch but a cold beer or glass of wine alongside some clam bellies would hit the spot in this back area. The clam cakes were unusual -- round like disks instead of the quintessential spherical shape. They were ok, but not pillowy or fluffy like I'd like a clam cake to be. The stuffie, too, was just okay. They're never my favorite anyway but I wanted my fellow traveler friend to try one while on cape code. Sweet potato fries weren't incredibly crispy but still tasted fresh enough.
