We forgot to take pictures because it looked so good! The calamari and chicken lumpia was hot and crunchy!My 2 year old devoured the pork sinigang ! The freshly made pancit bihon was excellent and flavorful. Kahlua and Cabbage was my favorite! Smokey , tender, and flavorful!. They even gave our son a little shaved ice! We were looking for Asian food in the area after all the fast food we've had, we found Millet's! A small mom's and pops Filipino restaurant serving up traditional dishes. We order the lumpia (yummy), they didn't have pork but they had the chicken lumpias which was good. My Palabok (noodles) was good and our Korean short rib bbq with rice was good too. Don't think too much into it. It's ran by an older couple and one other guy who is probably the dishwasher. They're still remodeling the other side. Food was good, service was decent. The owners are hard working and have good customer service. They recently renovated their place and added additional space where they have karaoke some nights. The food I couldn't complain about anything. The wife cooks and does fantastic food. I love their Shanghai lumpia and pansit but have other very good menu. We're so happy to have found this restaurant! The owners are so friendly, and the food was delicious! We got the bistek, the spam and hot dog silog (made it a platter with lumpia and pancit), Thai tea, and boba milk tea. My bf said his bistek tasted like he was back in the Philippines! My spam and fried egg were crispy, with the yolk still perfectly runny! Both orders came with a pickled vegetable side which was a nice palate cleanser. The portions are very generous, we barely got through half our meals before we had to ask for to-go boxes. The owners were so kind and helpful! We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked through the door. The male owner (sorry, it was our first time and we don't know anyone's names yet) made brand new, fresh boba just for us! And the woman owner checked in on us, even bringing us hot/chili sauce. When we went to pay at the end of our dining, she even asked us how everything was and thanked us for coming :) There was also a sweet older man who got us our to-go boxes! Wait time was minimal. Was craving some Hawaiian food and this restaurant popped up nearby. It's a relaxed and cute atmosphere. The gentlemen at the front was very welcoming. I ended up getting a Thai tea, pork Lau Lau with rice, extra pork and cabbage on the side, and mac salad. Everything was delicious (shoutout to the kind woman who made it!), if you're getting the pork Lau Lau, they cook-to-order and it's 100% worth the wait! The cutest family owned restaurant. I was in the local area and wanted to try something by new . I stumbled upon the reviews while in search for dinner to take on the way home. It's owned and operated by one of the sweetest couple. The food took a bit but it was well worth the wait since the food was made fresh upon ordering . We ordered lumpia, the loco moco and the chicken Katsu. The ambiance reminded me of when I was back in Hawaii. The food was great and the service was friendly . The daing na bangus is absolutely divine. Tortang talong and Kare Kare is a must have anytime. And the durian smoothie is way way up there in satisfaction stratosphere. If I could give it zero stars I would. We've been talking about going for some time and with the reviews on how good the food is made it a point to go when we had visitors from out of town. How disappointing it was when we got there and we were told they were too busy with a catering order. We were pretty much refused service. Sign said opens at 12pm which it was. The food was pretty gross. Lumpia was alright but had a weird chemical taste to it. I also ordered a grilled teriyaki chicken plate that was awful. The chicken was breaded, not grilled for some reason (like chicken katsu) and then slathered in teriyaki sauce. All mushy. I have been coming here for years, as it is one Beaumont's hidden gems and some of the best food in the area. I would go as far as tonsay this is the best Filipino food in the IE. I found this place back when I was still eating pork, and the signature dish here is Pork Belly Fried Rice. The crispy texture coupled with that fluffy rice and a bit of chili oil is heavenly. But rivaling that dish is the Kalbi Short Ribs as well. Sweet and juicy and tender, with the right amount of char. The shrimp with glass noodles OR the pancit is fantastic. The owners are some of Beaumont's best people; warm, inviting, hospitable. Its like eating at your Filipino Grandmas house. Mama San is super nice and will come out and talk to me and my family if she is able. When she found out I wasn't coming in as much because of my diet/health, she refused to make me certain dishes that I like, and would only make me what she deemed a healthier option, which was a homemade Curry Chicken dish she improvised on the spot. they are always super nice to my children and always acknowledge and talk to them as well. Most items were really good, however, there was that chicken that dropped them down to 3 stars instead of 4. We tried a beef dish, lumpia, fried rice, and a chicken dish. All items were pretty good, and even the chicken was good, but, chicken shouldn't be mushy, and this one was. The outer breading turned into an oatmeal like texture. You could tell it was meant to be crunchy (at least I hope this was the case), but, we didn't get any ounce of crunch. Oatmeal chicken is not appetizing, haha! Will I be back? Yes. Authentic Filipino & Hawaiian Food! I didn't know this until I arrived to eat, in the middle of our long drive from Tucson back to Los Angeles. It was a very happy surprise!
