Walmart is like my mall. I grocery shop there and always end up finding home items that I both need and don't need. I'm so thankful to have a Walmart fairly close to my house, and it's always fully stocked. I enjoy seeing how Walmart welcomes every walk of life. I am a kindergarten teacher, and I need reliable transportation to make it to and from work every day. I had a flat tire yesterday and so I made an appointment with Walmart Auto Center for tire replacement. I bought two tires on the website and made the appointment 11am. A couple of hours later I checked my appointment status, and it said that my appointment was cancelled. I called Walmart right away and spoke with Jessica who said that their system automatically cancelled my appointment because they no longer had the tires available. It makes it less difficult if inventory is checked before an actual purchase is made. I asked her if I could keep my original appointment time at 11am and just order different tires. She told me she could not help me with this and that I would have to make an appointment for a different time. Her demeaner was not very helpful or empathetic to my needs. On 11/16/25 I went to the next appointment that was scheduled for me at 1pm. I actually arrived 30 minutes early so I could get an oil change. There was only one car parked. I got out of my car and looked around, and no one came out to help me. A car arrived after me and the worker told me that although I was there first and had made an appointment, this other customer would be helped first because I wasn't parked in the right spot. It was a young blonde girl that told me this. She was very rude and flippant. The right thing to do would have been to say "who was here first and have me go ahead of the other person (who didn't have an appointment). Instead, they made me wait over an hour for the car getting tires, before they started putting tires on my car! What a waste of time. If they had started on the oil change, my car would have been done way before the other car had their tires on. Worse one of the service people made comments insinuating that I was making them not do their jobs. I told them their actions were the reason I was speaking to them instead of them getting their work done. Do the right thing. It is common sense and makes for loyal customers! Another customer service rep, a male, insisted on explaining to me three times about their procedures about their appointments. He kept saying appointments come first. I told him I DO have and appointment AND I arrived before the other customer. He would not leave me alone and continued to harass me throughout the store. I took a picture of his badge (not his face or person) because I didn't have a pen and wanted to remember his name. He became irate. He followed me in the store yelling at me to delete it and threatened to call the police on me. His name is David. I told him and other employees that I had asked for a supervisor three times and they claimed no one was available. I asked for the store manager and it took a while for her to come and she was pleasant. She said she would come back and talk to me because they finally told me they would check me in. She never came back to speak with me, only to make a drop (it looked like money in envelopes). She didn't ask for me or look for me. The auto center was not busy at all. There were approximately three cars there at that time. Not sure how long it takes to do an oil change and replace two tires, but they were finished with my car past 4pm. I arrived there at 12:30pm. I lost most of my day. They took multiple cars ahead of mine. I watched them come and go. If I could give them 0 stars that would be more appropriate. Customer service is extremely unprofessional here. I used to get my car needs met with Walmart in Beaumont loyally. The mechanic even told me he remembers me and knows me from so many visits, but I will no longer be giving Walmart my business, at least not in Beaumont. I will definitely get my car needs met at another business. I will never ever to get my car serviced there again. read more

The store is clean and well organized. The staff are very nice and fast at checkout lanes. The AC is very good throughout the store which keeps the produces and perishables fresh and ready all day. We usually stop by to restock and to check out seasonal items. This store also has good sales very often. We got candies and Easter decorations at very reasonable prices :) read more

Stopped by this Walmart in Beaumont and had a surprisingly great find. They had 75% off fine jewelry, including some beautiful 14k gold earrings. Definitely wasn't expecting that kind of deal. The jewelry section was well organized and staff were helpful when I asked about pricing. Ended up spending more than I planned, but the discounts made it worth it. Always fun when you stumble into a good clearance moment. read more

GREATLY IMPROVED! The morale at this Walmart has improved significantly. I used to walk in here and be met with a scowl or rude behavior, not anymore! I noticed they had younger, new employees at this location and all of them were friendly and efficient. I had to get something that required a key and the girl in electronics who helped was very nice. The receipt checker up front was really polite! Overall, I had a great experience. I was in and out. I didn't have to wait in a long line and I felt like a respected customer. The store was quite big, this is definitely a big Walmart with a good selection of food, clothes, auto goods, etc. The grocery items are pretty good at this Walmart. I like the eye care center since they usually have what I need. You'll find all the amenities of a usual Walmart here There's plenty of parking space out front and the lot is kept pretty clean. I like the Beaumont store with exception to lack of handicap carts. they used to treat handicap people so good. but now they don't make any effort to help you get a cart. they are so indifferent! I would shop here 2 or 3 times a week. but now maybe once every couple eeeks. you lose a lot of business because of lack of handicap carts. read more

Roughly around 8:49pm on 11/27, customer service directed me to go talk to the staff member who was overseeing the grocery self check out. Customer service was kind and told me to ask him to open it, and if not, he can page someone to open the batteries. I ask the staff member with the blue mask, roughly 6 feet tall, to page someone to open the batteries. He immediately dismissed me and said, "I don't have the keys." And refused to call anyone. Luckily the customers do the job of the staff and a customer told me they had batteries out in the open. Look, I get that it's the holidays but if you're going to refuse to do your job and then be an asshole on top of it, just go home early and save everyone the hassle of dealing with your miserable staff. read more

I don't understand why everything is locked up in the store, yet there's never anyone around to unlock it. I stood waiting for about 10-15 minutes just to get help, and no one came. What's the point of locking items up if it's always a hassle to get someone to open them? On top of that, the racial bias in this store is extremely obvious and upsetting. There's one short Mexican man in particular who constantly assumes that people of color are stealing, while completely ignoring the white customers who actually are. If he paid more attention or maybe saw things from a higher perspective, he might notice who's really doing what. Then there's the woman (also Mexican) who wears colorful headwraps or scarves, her attitude isn't much better. It's exhausting dealing with this kind of treatment as a POC customer. Very poorly run store. The prices are good but ridiculous checkout time. Only a couple lanes open with at least 10-12 people waiting in line. The last two times we were there we waited 15 minutes in line and then just left our cart full of food in the aisle and left the store because of the long wait and super slow checkout. I'm pretty much done with this store! Your personal shoppers are rude & inconsiderate along with most of your cashiers. I worked in grocery for 17 years and never experienced anything like that. No 'hello, how are you' (takes 5 seconds to acknowledge a customer), takes less to say thank you! You close self check out ( which is understandable with all the theft) but then you only have 3 full check stands open? Have to add, when you open an extra check out, that cashier needs to pull a customer from an existing line that's been waiting longer that others just heading to a line, it called courtesy. While there some items I can't get anywhere close by, so I'll have to come into your store, unfortunately, I will do everything I can to find it elsewhere & other so should also. Shut the doors at 10:50pm but lists closing time 11pm. I drove an hour to get there because it was the only Walmart that had the specific dress I needed for a bridal shower event. I knew the exact spot it was in the store and everything. Literally would have been out of there by 10:55. Whoever was managing or decided to shut the doors should not be in that position because all reputable establishments don't shut their doors early on their customers or before it is publicly listed. Walmart did not show up for their customers tonight. Very poor customer service with how I was spoken to as well. Shocking actually. I made the hour drive because I have always been able to count on Walmart. One of the rare Walmart Supercenters in California, this one backs up to I-10 and is in a decently large shopping plaza. I stopped in to see if they had any of the portable "swamp cooler" devices in stock and they did not. They did have a solid stock of other stuff with a tidy store and lots of merchandise. Long queues at the only registers open and actually staffed by associates. Walmart would really prefer you to use the self-checkout and help them save costs. They'd also like you to bring in a cart but that's clearly not happening at this store as the cart corrals were needing attention. A few weeks ago someone stole an entire cart full of items and the security truck driver was racing around the parking lot trying to catch the thieves..... The security guard almost smashed into me due to his carelessness. I've been to this Walmart only twice now, once last October (2022) and just recently Friday 8/11/23 around 11 am. I reluctantly went to Walmart as our own in N. Cal has no help and not a good experience. This Walmart is like night and day from my home. We were RV/tent camping up the mountain and had multiple bike flat tires from all the "stickers" in the dirt. We needed tubes, bike repair items, RV/tent tape (as our pooch made a 3 foot tear in the tent too).. and a few other unexpected items. This store is huge. I sent one teen one way and I went the other. He found the food (including gluten free stuff I needed) and I found the auto area and asked for help for the green slime emergency tire stuff.. there were several employees available as we walked through the store. I just happened to find the nicest man in the auto/rv area. He helped with the item I needed there, then I asked about the "slime" for bikes and also needed tubes. He happily led me there and waited until I was ready and opened the locked case there for me too. So patient and offered to help with anything else. Wow! Most appreciated! I later returned looking for tent repair tape.. I was only steps away but didn't know it. Another gentleman was there and took me right to it. I wish I paid attention to names. They were so helpful. I would have spent twice as much time there had they not helped and I had dogs and kids to get back to. I was in and out in 30 min.. and back up the mountain much sooner than expected to enjoy our time there. Clean, helpful and well stocked store! read more

Asked him for help and he responded that he does not have a key and cannot help since he is on lunch "take off the vest if you're on lunch". All I can say is WOW! I have never experienced a business operated this poorly. I was trying to get connected to the automotive department to purchase tires for my daughter's toy hauler. After 18 calls (I was disconnected 6 times), I finally reached the auto department to be answered by the rudest salesperson ever. Tried calling corporate to complain, only to get a recording about a "life alert" Now on hold for the store manager while I write this, who obviously isn't going to answer.
