Military surplus. How can you go wrong. Eclectic array of items and an interesting bunch of guys working the sales floor. We left with some patches, Ts, and bungee cord. Now that we know what they have we'll be back.

Don Sloane, owner You have to meet him!

I always like going to stores like this, especially seeing how I'm not able to visit any good ones in Minnesota. When you come here, make sure you back into the parking spaces in front. For some reason It's posted that You're supposed to do that, lol. When you first walk in you see a large area of pins and patches for purchase of everything you could think of. It was neat just to look at their wall of displayed items. walking through the store there are many older objects and many new things to choose from and all priced reasonably well. Ended up buying a older style sleeping bag cover that was in really good shape. When we were heading up to the front we came across Don Sloane, the owner. If you ever have a chance and have some time, talk to him. He has many great stories and pictures of himself around. It was fascinating listening to him talk about different things he had done in the war but I don't really want to give away too much. But at least ask about the German flag that's framed in front. That is an awesome story. Thanks for the memories Don! Great store to visit, the staff was nice and it was an altogether great experience. I'm glad I had a chance to stop in while visiting the area. There's a mural on the side of the building, I guess, that I'm going to have to go back to and get a picture in front of before I leave town.

The price tag from the bag with the name of the business in bold letters.

Based on the comment that I read from a year ago, I guess the "rude" girl behind the counter still works there. She wasn't necessarily rude, but customer service was lacking. I bought a backpack less than 12 days ago and tried to return it. Granted I can't find the receipt but I still have the price tag that was on the bag and a bank statement proving purchase of the bag, yet the answer I was told, "without the receipt, there's no way to tell I purchased the bag from the store. Needless to say if this is how they treat their new customers, I'm not sure how they retain them. I will not be returning. Photos and tag were shown to the "rude" girl behind the counter.

Big unique store, all sorts of things, the kind of place that you rarely if ever see any more.

Nice surplus store very wide range selection, the store is pricey and I would say they don't take care of military personal.

Went to Fleet Feet in Tucson and was quickly met by Connie. She was very nice and attentive and asked me several question, measured my feet electronically and brought out sever pairs and brands. I liked the HOKAs and got a pair and inserts. She led me to the exact pair I needed. The shoes were not inexpensive, but how many pairs of other brands have I purchased and I suffered. Too many. The HOKAs are worth it. I had so many referrals to Fleet Feet and everyone was right. Excellent service, good guidance and great shoes. I am excited and want everyone to know of my experience. Thank you Connie and Fleet Feet.

The person that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining what brand would be best for my feet. They also have an xray to have more information about what will work well with your foot structure. She suggested that I might want an insert and she was right-the shoe with the insert was very comfortable. I wanted a different color and they ordered it. It came in within a week or so and the person that helped me with these shoes was also very helpful and helped me find the right insert. I'm really happy with the shoes. Having someone wait on you that takes the time to make sure you get the exact right shoes for you is wonderful. And the great shoes are a real bonus. IN addition to shoes, they have other sports clothing. It is a great place to get your shoes.
